The Little Higgs (LH) idea attempts to cure the little amount of fine-tuning necessary to bridge the gap between the Higgs mass (electroweak scale) and the new physics scale suggested by electroweak precision tests (~10 TeV). However, we show that LH models do not survive the confrontation with experimental limits on lepton flavor mixing, assuming the same naturalness arguments that motivate their introduction. Two different LH models are analyzed and several aspects of their one-loop predictions for lepton flavor-changing processes are discussed.
In this paper, we suggest a simple model which induces realistic flavor structure from mixing of flavored Higgs doublets. The idea is based on the decoupling limit. In a model with many Higgs doublets, the mass eigenstates of scalars are linear combinations of Higgs doublets. If the mass matrix of Higgs fields has only one massless mode, and if the linear combination has flavor dependence, the induced Yukawa coupling will have nontrivial flavor structure. We suggest a mass matrix of flavored Higgs fields in a $U(2)_{L} \times U(2)_{R}$ toy model. An advantage of this model is that all of the e…
In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model squark mixing can significantly change the pattern of charged-Higgs production. We find that non-minimal flavor structures can have a sizeable impact on the charged-Higgs production cross section, whereas charged-Higgs searches may be able to probe flavor structures not accessible to rare kaon, bottom or charm experiments, and can invalidate the assumption of minimal flavor violation.
We discuss the conditions under which the flavor structure of SUSY model induces, either radiatively or through mixing, new flavor-violating interactions in the Higgs sector. The radiative flavor mediation mechanism is illustrated using the minimal SUSY extension of the SM (MSSM) with generic trilinear A-terms, and applied to evaluate the corrections to Lepton Flavor-Violating (LFV) and Flavor-Conserving (LFC) Higgs vertices. Flavor mediation through mixing is discussed within the context of an $E_6$-inspired multi-Higgs model, suplemented with an abelian flavor symmetry. Tevatron and LHC can …
A More flavored Higgs boson arises when the flavor structure encoded in SUSY extensions of the SM is transmited to the Higgs sector. The flavor-Higgs transmition mechanism can have a radiative or mixing origin, as it is illustrated with several examples, and can produce interesting Higgs signatures that can be probed at future high-energy colliders. Within the MSSM, the flavor mediation mechanism can be of radiative type, as it is realized trhough gaugino-slepton loops, which transmit the flavor structture of the soft-breaking sector to the Higgs bosons. In particular we focus on evaluating th…
We propose to implement the Natural Flavor Conservation criterion in the two Higgs doublet model (2HDM) to an extra U(1)_H gauge symmetry for Higgs flavor, assuming two Higgs doublets carry different U(1)_H charges. Then one can easily avoid the tree level FCNC from neutral Higgs mediations using local gauge symmetries, instead of softly broken ad hoc Z_2 symmetry, and the pseudoscalar boson could be eaten by extra Z_H boson. Imposing the anomaly cancellation, we find that the U(1)_H in the Type-II and Type-IV 2HDM's become leptophobic and leptophilic, respectively. For the Type-I case, U(1)_H…
Lepton flavor violating Higgs decays can arise in flavor symmetry models where the Higgs sector is responsible for both the electroweak and the flavor symmetry breaking. Here we advocate an $S_4$ three-Higgs-doublet model where tightly constrained flavor changing neutral currents are suppressed by a remnant $Z_3$ symmetry. A small breaking of this $Z_3$ symmetry can explain the $2.4\,σ$ excess of Higgs decay final states with a $μτ$ topology reported recently by CMS if the new neutral scalars are light. The model also predicts sizable rates for lepton flavor violating Higgs decays in the $eτ$ …
A charged Higgs boson is a clear signal for an extended Higgs sector, as for example predicted by supersymmetry. Squark mixing can significantly change the pattern of charged-Higgs production and most notably circumvent the chiral suppression for single Higgs production. We evaluate the LHC discovery potential in the light of flavor physics, in the single-Higgs production channel and in association with a hard jet for small and moderate values of tan beta. Thoroughly examining current flavor constraints we find that non-minimal flavor structures can have a sizeable impact, but tend to predict …
A classification is given of Higgs-flavor models. In these models, there are several Higgs doublets in an irreducible multiplet R_{Phi} of a non-abelian symmetry G_{Phi}, under which the quarks and leptons do not transform (thus giving minimal flavor-changing for the fermions). It is found that different G_{Phi} and R_{Phi} lead to very distinctive spectra of the extra Higgs doublets, including different numbers of "sequential Higgs" and of "inert Higgs" that could play the role of dark matter, different mass relations, and different patterns of SU(2)_L-breaking splittings within the Higgs dou…
We calculate the branching ratios for the decays of neutral Higgs bosons ($h^{0},H^{0},A^{0}$) into pairs of fermions, including flavor violating processes, in the context of the General Two Higgs Doublet Model III.
Due to the smallness of the lepton Yukawa couplings, higher-dimensional operators can give a significant contribution to the lepton masses. In this case, the lepton mass matrix and the matrix of lepton-Higgs couplings are misaligned leading to lepton flavor violation (LFV) mediated by the Standard Model Higgs boson. We derive model-independent bounds on the Higgs flavor violating couplings and quantify LFV in decays of leptons and electric dipole moments for a class of lepton-Higgs operators contributing to lepton masses. We find significant Higgs-mediated LFV effects at both 1-loop and 2-loop…
In this short letter we show that the excess of events in the decay of Higgs to two photons reported by ATLAS and CMS can be easily accommodated in a flavor renormalizable three Higgs doublet model (3HDM). The model is consistent with all fermion masses, mixing angles, and flavor changing neutral current constraints.
Constraints on the whole spectrum of lepton flavor violating vertices are shown in the context of the standard two Higgs doublet model. The vertex involving the $e-τ$ mixing is much more constrained than the others, and the decays proportional to such vertex are usually very suppressed.
We summarized our report on leptonic flavor violating Higgs decay into mu + tau under the scheme of a generic supersymmetric standard model without R parity. With known experimental constraints imposed, important combinations of R-parity violating parameters which can give notable branching ratios are listed.
We study lepton flavor violation in a class of supersymmetric models with light sgoldstino - scalar superpartner of Goldstone fermions responsible for spontaneous supersymmetry breaking. Sgoldstino couplings to the Standard Model (SM) fermions are determined by the MSSM soft terms and, in general, provide with flavor violation in this sector. Sgoldstino admixture to the lightest Higgs boson results in changes of its coupling constants and, in particular, leads to lepton flavor-violating decay $h\toτμ$ of the Higgs resonance. We discuss viability and phenomenological consequences of this scenar…
The little Higgs idea is a new way to solve the little hierarchy problem by protecting the Higgs mass from quadratically divergent one-loop corrections. In this talk I describe the phenomenology of one particular realization of the little Higgs idea: the "Littlest Higgs" model.
Taking into account the constraints on the lepton flavor violation (LFV) couplings of the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson H with leptons from low energy experiments and the recent Compact Muon Solenoid experiment results, we investigate production of the SM Higgs boson associated with a lepton τvia e γcollision at the International Linear Collider (ILC) and Large Hadron Electron Collider experiments. The production cross sections are calculated and the LFV signals and the relevant SM backgrounds are examined. The LFV signals of the SM Higgs boson might be observed via e γcollision in future IL…
Exotic Higgs decays are promising channels to discover new physics in the near future. We present a simple model with a new light scalar that couples to the Standard Model through a charged lepton-flavor violating interaction. This can yield exciting new signatures, such as $h \to e^+ e^+ μ^-μ^-$, that currently have no dedicated searches at the Large Hadron Collider. We discuss this model in detail, assess sensitivity from flavor constraints, explore current constraints from existing multi-lepton searches, and construct a new search strategy to optimally target these exotic, lepton-flavor vio…
Motivated by the rencent LHC data on the lepton-flavor violating (LFV) decays $h\to \ell_1 \ell_2$ and $B_{s,d}\to \ell_1 \ell_2$, we study the Higgs-mediated flavor-changing neutral current (FCNC) interactions in the effective field theory (EFT) approach without and with the minimal flavor violation (MFV) hypothesis, and concentrate on the later. After considering the $B$ and $K$ physics data, the various LFV processes, and the LHC Higgs data, severe constraints on the Higgs FCNC couplings are derived, which are dominated by the LHC Higgs data, the $B_s - \bar B_s$ mixing, and the $μ\to e γ$ …
Flavor changing neutral current processes are studied in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity. It is found that the logarithmic divergence reported earlier in Z boson flavor changing processes is exactly canceled by contributions from additional interaction terms of heavy fermions and the Z boson. Phenomenological impact on the K --> pi nu nu_bar processes is discussed.
We present a unified picture of flavor and electroweak symmetry breaking based on a nonlinear sigma model spontaneously broken at the TeV scale. Flavor and Higgs bosons arise as pseudo-Goldstone modes. Explicit collective symmetry breaking yields stable vacuum expectation values and masses protected at one loop by the little-Higgs mechanism. The coupling to the fermions generates well-definite mass textures--according to a U(1) global flavor symmetry--that correctly reproduce the mass hierarchies and mixings of quarks and leptons. The model is more constrained than usual little-Higgs models be…
In this talk, I will present the status of lepton flavor physics in composite Higgs models with partial compositeness in the light of recent data in the lepton sector. I will consider anarchic flavor setups, scenarios with flavor symmetries, and minimal incarnations of the see-saw mechanism that naturally predict non-negligible lepton compositeness. The focus will be on lepton flavor violating processes, dipole moments, and on probes of lepton flavor universality, all providing stringent tests of partial compositeness. The expected size of effects in the different approaches to lepton flavor a…
The most general two-Higgs doublet model (2HDM) includes potentially large sources of flavor changing neutral currents (FCNCs) that must be suppressed in order to achieve a phenomenologically viable model. The flavor alignment ansatz postulates that all Yukawa coupling matrices are diagonal when expressed in the basis of mass-eigenstate fermion fields, in which case tree-level Higgs mediated FCNCs are eliminated. In this work, we explore models with the flavor alignment condition imposed at a very high energy scale, which results in the generation of Higgs-mediated FCNCs via renormalization gr…
The recent B-meson anomalies are coherently explained at the TeV scale by 4321 gauge models with hierarchical couplings reminiscent of the Standard Model Yukawas. We show that such models arise as the low-energy limit of a complete theory of flavor, based on a warped fifth dimension where each Standard Model family is quasi-localized in a different brane. The Higgs is identified as a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson emerging from the same dynamics responsible for 4321 symmetry breaking. This novel construction unifies quarks and leptons in a flavor non-universal manner, provides a natural descript…
Little Higgs theory naturally predicts a light Higgs boson whose most important discovery channel at the LHC is the di-photon signal $pp\to h\to γγ$. In this work we perform a comparative study for this signal in some typical little Higgs models, namely the littlest Higgs model (LH), two littlest Higgs models with T-parity (named LHT-I and LHT-II) and the simplest little Higgs modes (SLH). We find that compared with the Standard Model prediction, the di-photon signal rate is always suppressed and the suppression extent can be quite different for different models. The suppression is mild ($\lsi…
The little Higgs model with T-parity, compatible with electroweak precision constraints, introduces new flavor-mixing sources, some of which had been ignored until recently. They are reviewed here, showing that their influence does not only enrich the phenomenology of flavor-changing processes but is also needed to render finite one-loop amplitudes.
We examine the constraints coming from incorporating the full Standard Model gauge symmetry into the effective field theory description of flavor processes, using semileptonic decays as paradigmatic examples. Depending on the dynamics triggering electroweak symmetry breaking, different patterns of correlations between the Wilson coefficients arise. Interestingly, this implies that flavor experiments are capable of shedding light upon the nature of the Higgs boson without actually requiring Higgs final states. Furthermore, the observed correlations can simplify model-independent analyses of the…
We propose a new framework to generate the Standard Model (SM) quark flavor hierarchies in the context of two Higgs doublet models (2HDM). The `flavorful' 2HDM couples the SM-like Higgs doublet exclusively to the third quark generation, while the first two generations couple exclusively to an additional source of electroweak symmetry breaking, potentially generating striking collider signatures. We synthesize the flavorful 2HDM with the `flavor-locking' mechanism, that dynamically generates large quark mass hierarchies through a flavor-blind portal to distinct flavon and hierarchon sectors: Dy…
We consider the wrong-Higgs interactions such as type-III two Higgs doublet models. Generally, such interactions cause flavor problems. However, if new Yukawa interactions have the same flavor structure as that of the standard model(SM), we do not have any flavor problems. In this work we propose a microscopic model for the wrong-Higgs interactions aligned with SM ones in the context of supersymmetry(SUSY) and show their phenomenological implications. Low energy contraints from muon g-2 and rare B decays can be relieved and it can be viable to have low mass superparticle spectra with light dar…
We study the radiative lepton flavor violating l_1->l_2γdecays in the two Higgs doublet model with localized new Higgs doublet in the Randall Sundrum background. We estimate the contributions of the KK modes of new Higgs bosons and left (right) handed charged lepton doublets (singlets) on the branching ratios of the decays considered. We observe that there is an enhancement in the branching ratios with the addition of new Higgs boson and lepton KK modes.
We study the flavor changing t-> c l_1^- l_2^+ decay in the framework of the general two Higgs doublet model, the so called model III. We predict the branching ratio for l_1=τ, l_2=μat the order of magnitude of BR \sim 10^{-8}.
We predict the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating Higgs decays H^0->e^{\pm} μ^{\pm}, H^0-> e^{\pm} τ^{\pm} and H^0->μ^{\pm} τ^{\pm} in the case that the lepton flavor violation is carried by the scalar unparticle mediation. We observe that their branching ratios are strongly sensitive to the unparticle scaling dimension and they can reach to the values of the order of $10^{-4}$, for the heavy lepton flavor case and for the small values of the scaling dimension.
Inspired by the recent CMS $h \to μτ$ excess, we calculate the lepton flavor violating Higgs decay $h \to μτ$ in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity (LHT). Under the constraints of $\ell_i \to \ell_j γ$, $Z \to \ell_i \bar{\ell}_j$ and Higgs data, we find that the branching ratio of $h \to μτ$ can maximally reach $\mathcal O(10^{-4})$. We also investigate the correlation between $h \to μτ$, $τ\to μγ$ and $Z \to μτ$, which can be used to test LHT model at future $e^+e^-$ colliders.
We consider a simple extension of the Standard Model with flavor-dependent $U(1)'$, that has been proposed to explain some of $B$-meson anomalies recently reported at LHCb. The $U(1)'$ charge is chosen as a linear combination of anomaly-free $B_3-L_3$ and $L_μ-L_τ$. In this model, the flavor structure in the SM is restricted due to flavor-dependent $U(1)'$ charges, in particular, quark mixings are induced by a small vacuum expectation value of the extra Higgs doublet. As a result, it is natural to get sizable flavor-violating Yukawa couplings of heavy Higgs bosons involving the bottom quark. I…
We give a brief review of recent developments in non-supersymmetric models for electroweak symmetry breaking, including little Higgs, composite Higgs and Higgsless theories. The new ideas such as extra dimensions, AdS/CFT correspondence, dimension-deconstruction, and collective symmetry breaking provide us new tools to construct new models. They also allow some old ideas to be revived and implemented in these new models.
This review considers models with extended Higgs sectors in which there are tree-level flavor-changing neutral currents (FCNC) mediated by scalars. After briefly reviewing models without tree-level FCNC, several models with such currents are discussed. A popular mass-matrix ansatz, in which the flavor-changing couplings are the geometric mean of the individual flavor couplings, is presented. While it provided a target for experimentalists for three decades, it in now being severely challenged by experiments. Couplings expected to be of O(1) must be substantially smaller and the ansatz is now n…
Recently, the CMS and ATLAS Collaborations have reported direct searches for the 125 GeV Higgs decay with lepton flavor violation, $h\rightarrow μτ$. In this work, we analyze the signal of the lepton flavour violating (LFV) Higgs decay $h\rightarrow μτ$ in the $μ$ from $ν$ Supersymmetric Standard Model ($μν$SSM) with slepton flavor mixing. Simultaneously, we consider the constraints from the LFV decay $τ\rightarrow μγ$, the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment and the lightest Higgs mass around 125 GeV.
We examine an effective field theory inspired by Little Flavor that demonstrates a new paradigm for generating quark and lepton masses in which the scale of new flavor physics can be at the few TeV level, and new $Z'$ and $W'$ bosons are predicted. The model possesses an approximate $U(2)^2$ vector symmetry, not the full approximate $U(2)^5$ chiral symmetry of the Standard Model or Minimal Flavor Violation models, yet flavor changing neutral currents are sufficiently suppressed. Additionally, lepton flavor violating processes, such as $μ\to 3e$, lie naturally just below experimental bounds and…
We analyze the flavor changing decay $h\rightarrow μτ$ in the framework of a Two Higgs Doublet Model with a fourth generation of fermions (4G2HDM) which couples only to the heavy scalar doublet. We obtain that the respective branching ratio at one-loop level can reach values as high as $ 10^{-4}-10^{-6} $ for masses of $ 300 $ GeV to $ 1 $ TeV for the heavy leptons in the fourth family and the new heavy Higgs bosons. These radiative corrections are of the same order of magnitude as the tree level prediction of the 4G2HDM.
We study the flavor changing neutral current decays of the MSSM Higgs bosons into strange and bottom quarks. We focus on a scenario of minimum flavor violation here, namely only that induced by the CKM matrix. Taking into account constraint from $b\to s γ$, $δρ$ as well as experimental constraints on the MSSM spectrum, we show that the branching ratio of $(Φ\to b\bar{s})$ and $(Φ\to \bar{b}s)$ combined, for $Φ$ being either one of the CP even Higgs states, can reach the order $10^{-4}$-$10^{-3}$ for large $\tanβ$, large $μ$, and large $A_t$. The result illustrates the significance of minimal f…
In the absence of low-energy supersymmetry, a multiplicity of weak-scale Higgs doublets would require additional fine-tunings unless they formed an irreducible multiplet of a non-abelian symmetry. Remnants of such symmetry typically render some Higgs fields stable, giving several dark matter particles of various masses. The non-abelian symmetry also typically gives simple, testable mass relations.
We point out that Higgs rates into gauge bosons can be significantly modified in composite pseudo Nambu--Goldstone boson (pNGB) Higgs models if quarks belonging to the first two generation are relatively composite objects as well. Although the lightness of the latter a priori screen them from the electroweak symmetry breaking sector, we show, in an effective two-site description, that their partners can lead to order one shifts in radiative Higgs couplings to gluons and photons. Moreover, due to the pseudo-Goldstone nature of the Higgs boson, the size of these corrections is completely control…
We calculate the new physics effects to the branching ratios of the lepton flavor conserving decays Z -> l^+ l^- in the framework of the general two Higgs Doublet model. We predict the upper limits for the couplings |\barξ^{D}_{N,μτ}| and |\barξ^{D}_{N,ττ}| as 3\times 10^2 GeV and 1\times 10^2 GeV, respectively.
In this note we present a review of the little Higgs models that stabilize the electroweak by realizing the Standard Model Higgs as a pseudo-Goldstone boson.
We calculate loop induced lepton flavor violating Higgs decays in the Littlest Higgs model with T-parity. We find that a finite amplitude is obtained only when all contributions from the T-odd lepton sector are included. This is in contrast to lepton flavor violating processes mediated by gauge bosons where the partners of the right-handed mirror leptons can be decoupled from the spectrum. These partners are necessary to cancel the divergence in the Higgs mass introduced by the mirror leptons but are otherwise unnecessary and assumed to be decoupled in previous phenomenological studies. Furthe…
We discuss lepton flavor violation (LFV) associated with tau leptons in the framework of the two-Higgs-doublet model. Current data for rare tau decays provide substantial upper limits on the LFV Yukawa couplings in the large $\tanβ$ region where $\tanβ$ is the ratio of vacuum expectation values of the two Higgs doublets. We show that measuring the LFV Higgs boson decays $h \to τ^\pm μ^\mp$ at future colliders can be useful to further constrain the LFV couplings especially in the relatively small $\tanβ$ region.
We discuss flavor violation in large N Composite Higgs models. We focus on scenarios in which the masses of the standard model fermions are controlled by hierarchical mixing parameters, as in models of Partial Compositeness. We argue that a separation of scales between flavor and Higgs dynamics can be employed to parametrically suppress dipole and penguin operators, and thus effectively remove the experimental constraints arising from the lepton sector and the neutron EDM. The dominant source of flavor violation beyond the standard model is therefore controlled by 4-fermion operators, whose Wi…
We study the b --> sγdecay including the next to leading QCD corrections in the two Higgs doublet model with flavor changing neutral currents at the tree level. We find the constraints to the flavor changing parameters of the model, using the experimental results on the branching ratio of B --> X_s γdecay, provided by the CLEO Collaboration, the restrictions coming from the ΔF=2 (F=K,D,B) mixing and the ρparameter.
This article reviews the Little Higgs models of electroweak symmetry breaking and their phenomenology. Little Higgs models incorporate a light composite Higgs boson and remain perturbative until a scale of order 10 TeV, as required by precision electroweak data. The collective symmetry breaking mechanism, which forms the basis of Little Higgs models, is introduced. An explicit, fully realistic implementation of this mechanism, the Littlest Higgs model, is then discussed in some detail. Several other implementations, including simple group models and models with T parity, are also reviewed. Pre…
Little Higgs theories are a fascinating new idea to solve the little hierarchy problem by stabilizing the Higgs mass against one-loop quadratically divergent radiative corrections. In this talk I give a brief overview of the idea, focusing mainly on the littlest Higgs model, and present a sampling of the electroweak precision constraints.
Little Higgs models predict new gauge bosons, fermions and scalars at the TeV scale that stabilize the Higgs mass against quadratically divergent one-loop radiative corrections. We categorize the many little Higgs models into two classes based on the structure of the extended electroweak gauge group and examine the experimental signatures that identify the little Higgs mechanism in addition to those that identify the particular little Higgs model. We find that by examining the properties of the new heavy fermion(s) at the LHC, one can distinguish the structure of the top quark mass generation …
We propose a new mechanism to explain neutrino masses with lepton number conservation, in which the Dirac neutrino masses are generated at the two-loop level involving a dark matter candidate. In this model, branching ratios of lepton flavor violating decays of the Higgs boson can be much larger than those of lepton flavor violating decays of charged leptons. If lepton flavor violating decays of the Higgs boson are observed at future collider experiments without detecting lepton flavor violating decays of charged leptons, most of the models previously proposed for tiny neutrino masses are excl…
A scenario is presented where the $s$, $c$, and $b$ quark fusion Higgs production cross sections are enhanced with respect to those of the Standard Model. In particular the $c$ quark fusion production is very important and can account for a significant contribution at the Large Hadron Collider. The light Higgs couplings to vector bosons are sufficiently suppressed to allow its mass to lie below the LEP bound of 115 GeV and due to enhanced couplings to second family fermions, the Higgs decay to $μ$ pairs is large enough to be detectable. This is accomplished with a model incorporating three Hig…
We construct an orbifold model in which all the standard model particles are unified in a gauge multiplet in higher dimensional supersymmetric gauge theory. We find that a flavor symmetry has to remain in four dimensions due to the discrete charge conservation for orbifold conditions if the colored Higgs components in the gauge multiplet are projected out. When the flavor symmetry originates from the E_8 bulk gauge symmetry, the successful unification model can be constructed. In the model, all the Dirac Yukawa couplings for quarks and leptons are generated by the higher dimensional gauge inte…
We study the charged Higgs couplings to fermions in the "democratic" three-Higgs-doublet model, in which one doublet couples to down-type quarks, one to up-type quarks, and one to charged leptons. Flavor-changing neutral Higgs couplings are absent because the Glashow-Weinberg-Paschos condition for natural flavor conservation is in effect. We show that this model reproduces the coupling structure of the charged Higgs boson in the recently-proposed Yukawa-aligned two-Higgs-doublet model, with two subtle constraints that arise from the unitarity of the charged Higgs mixing matrix. Adding a fourth…
We study the fermionic couplings of the neutral Higgs bosons in the THDM, assuming a four-texture structure for the Yukawa matrices. We then derive the low-energy constraints on the model, focusing in b-quark and lepton physics, and apply them to study Higgs boson detection at future colliders.
Experimental study at LHC of the possible Higgs boson should soon provide accurate estimates of the Yukawa couplings $Y_{H\bar{f}f}$ for $f=t,b,τ$. In the presence of a non-abelian discrete flavor symmetry $G_F$ (e.g. T') the usual prediction that $Y_{H\bar{f}f} \propto m_f$ should be inexact, and departures therefrom will provide through $G_F$ valuable input to an improved derivation of the quark and lepton mixing matrices.
We study the effect of non-universal extra dimensions on the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes μ\to eγand τ\to μγin the general two Higgs doublet model. We observe that these effects are small for a single extra dimension, however, in the case of two extra dimensions there is a considerable enhancement in the additional contributions.
