Excitation functions of elastic and inelastic 7Be+p scattering were measured in the energy range between 1.6 and 2.8 MeV in the c.m. An R-matrix analysis of the excitation functions provides strong evidence for new positive parity states in 8B. A new 2+ state at an excitation energy of 2.55 MeV was observed and a new 0+ state at 1.9 MeV is tentatively suggested. The R-matrix and Time Dependent Continuum Shell Model were used in the analysis of the excitation functions. The new results are compared to the calculations of contemporary theoretical models.

Alpha-induced inelastic scattering and alpha-transfer reactions in $^{12}$C and $^{16}$O within the Algebraic Cluster Model

The molecular algebraic model based on three and four alpha clusters is used to describe the inelastic scattering of alpha particles populating low-lying states in $^{12}$C and $^{16}$O. Optical potentials and inelastic formfactors are obtained by folding densities and transition densities obtained within the molecular model. One-step and multi-step processes can be included in the reaction mechanism calculation. Systematic investigation of channel coupling effects on elastic, inelastic and neutron transfer channels in $^6$Li+$^{159}$Tb

Elastic scattering angular distribution for weakly bound nucleus $^{6}$Li on the deformed rare earth $^{159}$Tb target nucleus has been measured at energies around the Coulomb barrier. The elastic scattering cross sections for this reaction consist of inelastic contributions from low lying excited states of $^{159}$Tb. The pure elastic cross-sections have been extracted from the admixture of elastic and inelastic data. Emerging collectivity from the nuclear structure of $^{132}$Xe: Inelastic neutron scattering studies and shell-model calculations

Inelastic neutron scattering was used to study the low-lying nuclear structure of $^{132}$Xe. A comprehensive level scheme is presented, as well as new level lifetimes, multipole mixing ratios, branching ratios, and transition probabilities. Comparisons of these data as well as previously measured $E2$ strengths and $g$ factors are made with new shell-model calculations for $^{132,134,136}$Xe to explore the emergence of collectivity in the Xe isotopes with $N$ < 82 near the closed shell.

Low-lying dipole strengths for probable $p$-wave one-neutron halos in the medium mass region

Microscopic particle-rotor model for low-lying spectrum of Lambda hypernuclei

We propose a novel method for low-lying states of hypernuclei based on the particle-rotor model, in which hypernuclear states are constructed by coupling the hyperon to low-lying states of the core nucleus.
