Adjoint action of automorphism groups on radical endomorphisms, generic equivalence and Dynkin quivers

Let $Q$ be a connected quiver with no oriented cycles, $k$ the field of complex numbers and $P$ a projective representation of $Q$. We study the adjoint action of the automorphism group $\Aut_{kQ} P$ on the space of radical endomorphisms $\radE_{kQ}P$. Using generic equivalence, we show that the quiver $Q$ has the property that there exists a dense open $\Aut_{kQ} P$-orbit in $\radE_{kQ} P$, for all projective representations $P$, if and only if $Q$ is a Dynkin quiver. This gives a new characterisation of Dynkin quivers.

On the radical of the module category of an endomorphism algebra

Given a finite dimensional algebra $A$ over an algebraically closed field we study the relationship between the powers of the radical of a morphism in the module category of the algebra $A$ and the induced morphism in the module category of the endomorphism algebra of a tilting $A$-module. We compare the nilpotency indices of the radical of the mentioned module categories. We find an upper bound for the nilpotency index of the radical of the module category of iterated tilted algebras of Dynkin type.

Some examples of silted algebras of Dynkin type

This paper studies silted algebras, namely, endomorphism algebras of 2-term silting complexes, over path algebras of Dynkin quivers. We will describe an algorithm to produce all basic 2-term silting complexes over the path algebra of a Dynkin quiver, and use this algorithm to compute some examples.

Weight multiplicity free representations, $\frak g$-endomorphism algebras, and Dynkin polynomials

$\frak g$-endomorphism algebras form an interesting class of associative algebras related to the adjoint representation of a semisimple Lie algebra $\frak g$. Negative cohomology and the endomorphism ring of the trivial module

Let $k$ be a field of characteristic $2$ and let $H$ be a finite group or group scheme. We show that the negative Tate cohomology ring $\widehat{\text{H}}^{\leq 0}(H,k)$ can be realized as the endomorphism ring of the trivial module in a Verdier localization of the stable category of $kG$-modules for $G$ an extension of $H$. On divisible weighted Dynkin diagrams and reachable elements

Let D(e) denote the weighted Dynkin diagram of a nilpotent element $e$ in complex simple Lie algebra $\g$. We say that D(e) is divisible if D(e)/2 is again a weighted Dynkin diagram. Mutation of Auslander generators

Let $Λ$ be an artin algebra with representation dimension equal to three and $M$ an Auslander generator of $Λ$. We show how, under certain assumptions, we can mutate $M$ to get a new Auslander generator whose endomorphism ring is derived equivalent to the endomorphism ring of $M$. We apply our results to selfinjective algebras with radical cube zero of infinite representation type, where we construct an infinite set of Auslander generators.

On the centralizer of the sum of commuting nilpotent elements

Let X and Y be commuting nilpotent K-endomorphisms of a vector space V, where K is a field of characteristic p >= 0. If F=K(t) is the field of rational functions on the projective line, consider the K(t)-endomorphism A=X+tY of V. If p=0, or if the (p-1)-st power of A is 0, we show here that X and Y are tangent to the unipotent radical of the centralizer of A in GL(V). For all geometric points (a:b) of a suitable open subset of the projective line, it follows that X and Y are tangent to the unipotent radical of the centralizer of aX+bY. Maximal rigid objects as noncrossing bipartite graphs

Let Q be a Dynkin quiver of type A. The bounded derived category of the path algebra of Q has an autoequivalence given by the composition of the Auslander-Reiten translate and the square of the shift functor. We classify the maximal rigid objects in the corresponding orbit category C(Q), in terms of bipartite noncrossing graphs (with loops) in a circle. We also describe the endomorphism algebras of the maximal rigid objects, and we prove that a certain class of these algebras are iterated tilted algebras of type A.

Minuscule reverse plane partitions via quiver representations

A nilpotent endomorphism of a quiver representation induces a linear transformation on the vector space at each vertex. Generically among all nilpotent endomorphisms, there is a well-defined Jordan form for these linear transformations, which is an interesting new invariant of a quiver representation. The projective Leavitt complex

Let Q be a finite quiver without sources, and A be the corresponding algebra with radical square zero. We construct an explicit compact generator for the homotopy category of acyclic complexes of projective A-modules. We call such a generator the projective Leavitt complex of Q. The Fourier expansion of modular forms on quaternionic exceptional groups

Suppose that $G$ is a simple adjoint reductive group over $\mathbf{Q}$, with an exceptional Dynkin type, and with $G(\mathbf{R})$ quaternionic (in the sense of Gross-Wallach). Then there is a notion of modular forms for $G$, anchored on the so-called quaternionic discrete series representations of $G(\mathbf{R})$. The purpose of this paper is to give an explicit form of the Fourier expansion of modular forms on $G$, along the unipotent radical $N$ of the Heisenberg parabolic $P = MN$ of $G$.

Submodule Categories of Wild Representation Type

Let $Λ$ be a commutative local uniserial ring of length at least seven with radical factor ring $k$. We consider the category $S(Λ)$ of all possible embeddings of submodules of finitely generated $Λ$-modules and show that $S(Λ)$ is controlled $k$-wild with a single control object $I\in S(Λ)$. In particular, it follows that each finite dimensional $k$-algebra can be realized as a quotient $\End(X)/\End(X)_I$ of the endomorphism ring of some object $X\in S(Λ)$ modulo the ideal $\End(X)_I$ of all maps which factor through a finite direct sum of copies of $I$.
