We report a Raman scattering investigation of multiferroic bismuth ferrite BiFeO3 epitaxial (c-axis oriented) thin films from -192 to 1000C. Phonon anomalies have been observed in three temperature regions: in the gamma-phase from 930C to 950C; at ~370C, Neel temperature (TN), and at ~123C, due to a phase transition of unknown type (magnetic or structural). An attempt has been made to understand the origin of the weak phonon-magnon coupling and the dynamics of the phase sequence. The disappearance of several Raman modes at ~820C (Tc) is compatible with the known structural phase transition and the Pbnm orthoferrite space group assigned by Arnold {\it et al.} \cite{arnold:09}. The spectra also revealed a {\it non-cubic} $β$-phase from 820-930\dc and the same {\it non-cubic} phase extends through the $γ$-phase between 930-950\dc, in agreement with Arnold {\it et al.} \cite{arnold2:09}, and an evidence of a cubic $δ$-phase around 1000\dc in thin films that is not stable in powder and bulk. Such a cubic phase has been theoretically predicted in \cite{vasquez:prb09}. Micro-Raman scattering and X-ray diffraction showed no structural decomposition in thin films during the thermal cycling from 22-1000\dc.
The interaction of graphene with metallic substrates reveals phenomena and properties of great relevance for applications in nanotechnology. In this review, the vibrational characterization by means of various inelastic scattering spectroscopies are surveyed for graphene epitaxially grown on metals and transition carbides. In particular, the manifestations of electron-phonon interaction, such as Kohn anomalies, the evaluation of elastic properties and the nanoscale control of phonon modes are presented and discussed.
The origin of the large-scale stripe pattern of epitaxial silicene on the ZrB$_2$(0001) surface observed by scanning tunneling microscope experiments is revealed by first-principles calculations. Without stripes, the ($\sqrt{3}\times\sqrt{3}$)-reconstructed, one-atom-thick Si layer is found to exhibit a "zero-frequency" phonon instability at the $M$ point. In order to avoid a divergent response, the relevant phonon mode triggers the spontaneous formation of a new phase with a particular stripe pattern offering a way to lower both the atomic surface density and the total energy of silicene on t…
Several SrTiO3 (STO) thin films without electrodes processed by pulsed laser deposition, of thicknesses down to 40 nm, were studied using infrared transmission and reflection spectroscopy. The complex dielectric responses of polar phonon modes, particularly ferroelectric soft mode, in the films were determined quantitatively. The compressed epitaxial STO films on (100) La0.18Sr0.82Al0.59-Ta0.41O3 substrates (strain 0.9%) show strongly stiffened phonon responses, whereas the soft mode in polycrystalline film on (0001) sapphire substrate shows a strong broadening due to grain boundaries and/or o…
We report experiments to determine the effect of radiation damage on the phonon spectra of the most common nuclear fuel, UO$_2$. We have irradiated thin ($\sim$ 300 nm) epitaxial films of UO$_2$ with 2.1 MeV He$^{2+}$ ions to 0.15 dpa and a lattice swelling of $Δ$a/a $\sim$ 0.6 %, and then used grazing-incidence inelastic X-ray scattering to measure the phonon spectrum. We succeeded to observe the acoustic modes, both transverse and longitudinal, across the Brillouin zone. The phonon energies, in both the pristine and irradiated samples, are unchanged from those observed in bulk material. On t…
Epitaxial thin films of SrRuO3 with large strain disorder were grown using pulsed laser deposition method which showed two distinct transition temperatures in Magnetic measurements. For the first time, we present visual evolution of magnetic domains across the two transitions using Magnetic force microscopy on these films. The study clearly showed that the magnetic anisotropy corresponding to the two transitions is different. It is observed that the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy is dominating in films which results in domain spin orientation preferably in out of plane direction. The Raman …
Phonon transmission across epitaxial interfaces is studied within the lattice dynamic approach. The transmission shows weak dependence on frequency for the lattice wave with a fixed angle of incidence. The dependence on azimuth angle is found to be related to the symmetry of the boundary interface. The transmission varies smoothly with the change of the incident angle. A critical angle of incidence exists when the phonon is incident from the side with large group velocities to the side with low ones. No significant mode conversion is observed among different acoustic wave branches at the inter…
In this letter, we report that the special coupling between Dirac fermion and lattice vibrations, in other words, electron-phonon coupling (EPC), in silicene layers on Ag(111) surface was probed by an in-situ Raman spectroscopy. We find the EPC is significantly modulated due to tensile strain, which results from the lattice mismatch between silicene and the substrate, and the charge doping from the substrate. The special phonon modes corresponding to two-dimensional electron gas scattering at edge sites in the silicene were identified. Detecting relationship between EPC and Dirac fermion throu…
Large area MoS2 and WS2 van der Waals epitaxial thin films with complete control over number of layers including monolayer is grown by pulsed laser deposition utilizing slower growth kinetics. The films grown on c-plane sapphire show stiffening of A1g and E12g phonon modes with decreasing number of layers for both MoS2 and WS2. The observed stiffening translate into the compressive strain of 0.52 % & 0.53 % with accompanying increase in fundamental direct band gap to 1.74 and 1.68 eV for monolayer MoS2 and WS2, respectively. The strain decays with the number of layers. HRTEM imaging directly r…
We report the influence of Ni/Mn ordering on the spin-phonon coupling in multifunctional La2NiMnO6. Three types of films with different levels of structural order, including long-range Ni/Mn cation order, cation disorder, and an admixture of the ordered and disordered phases, are compared by polarized micro-Raman spectroscopy and magnetometry. Each film displays a strong dependence on the polarization configuration and a unique set of Raman active phonon excitations. Long-range cation ordering results in the splitting of Raman active phonon peaks because of Brillouin zone folding and lowering …
Epitaxial III-V semiconductor heterostructures are key components in modern microelectronics, electro-optics and optoelectronics. With superior semiconducting properties, halide perovskite materials are rising as promising candidates for coherent heterostructure devices. In this report, spinodal decomposition is proposed and experimentally implemented to produce epitaxial double heterostructures in halide perovskite system. Pristine epitaxial mixed halide perovskites rods and films were synthesized via Van der Waals epitaxy by chemical vapor deposition method. At room temperature, photon was a…
Epitaxial growth of III-V semiconductors on Si is a promising route for silicon photonics. Threading dislocations and the residual thermal stress generated during growth are expected to affect the thermal conductivity of the III-V semiconductors, which is crucial for efficient heat dissipation from photonic devices built on this platform. In this work, we combine a non-contact laser-induced transient thermal grating technique with ab initio phonon simulations to investigate the in-plane thermal transport of epitaxial GaAs-based buffer layers on Si, employed in the fabrication of III-V quantum …
We have studied the influence of epitaxial strain on magnetic orderings and the couplings between the spin and polar phonons in the 1:1 SrMnO$_3$/LaMnO$_3$ superlattice from first principles. Magnetic phase transitions of the superlattice induced by epitaxial strain are observed, consistent with previous reports. We find that oxygen octahedral rotations lower the ground state energy but do not destroy the magnetic phase transitions induced by strain. We compute zone center phonon frequencies and eigenvectors as functions of epitaxial strain and magnetic ordering. A substantial increase of the …
The interplay of electron-phonon (el-ph) and electron-electron (el-el) interactions in epitaxial graphene is studied by directly probing its electronic structure. We found a strong coupling of electrons to the soft part of the A1g phonon evident by a kink at 150+/-15 meV, while the coupling of electrons to another expected phonon E2g at 195 meV can only be barely detected. The possible role of the el-el interaction to account for the enhanced coupling of electrons to the A1g phonon, and the contribution of el-ph interaction to the linear imaginary part of the self energy at high binding energy…
We have performed low temperature scanning tunnelling spectroscopy (STS) measurements on graphene epitaxially grown on Ru(0001). An inelastic feature, related to the excitation of a vibrational breathing mode of the graphene lattice, was found at 360 meV. The change in the differential electrical conductance produced by this inelastic feature, which is associated with the electron-phonon interaction strength, varies spatially from one position to other of the graphene supercell. This inhomogeneity in the electronic properties of graphene on Ru(0001) results from local variations of the carbon-…
The two-dimensional silicon allotrope, silicene, could spur the development of new and original concepts in Si-based nanotechnology. Up to now silicene can only be epitaxially synthesized on a supporting substrate such as Ag(111). Even though the structural and electronic properties of these epitaxial silicene layers have been intensively studied, very little is known about its vibrational characteristics. Here, we present a detailed study of epitaxial silicene on Ag(111) using \textit{in situ} Raman spectroscopy, which is one of the most extensively employed experimental techniques to charact…

We propose a design strategy - based on the coupling of spins, optical phonons, and strain - for systems in which magnetic (electric) phase control can be achieved by an applied electric (magnetic) field. Using first-principles density-functional theory calculations, we present a realization of this strategy for the magnetic perovskite EuTiO$_3$.
Solid-state quantum acoustodynamic (QAD) systems provide a compact platform for quantum information storage and processing by coupling acoustic phonon sources with superconducting or spin qubits. The multi-mode composite high-overtone bulk acoustic wave resonator (HBAR) is a popular phonon source well suited for QAD. However, scattering from defects, grain boundaries, and interfacial/surface roughness in the composite transducer severely limits the phonon relaxation time in sputter-deposited devices. Here, we grow an epitaxial-HBAR, consisting of a metallic NbN bottom electrode and a piezoelec…
In this article, we estimate hydrostatic stress developed in gallium ion implanted gallium nitride epitaxial layers using Raman measurements. We have calculated deformation potential constants for $E_2$(high) mode in these epi-layers. The presence of a polar phonon-plasmon coupling in these systems has also been demonstrated. In as-implanted samples, with an increase in implantation fluence, we have observed disorder-activated Raman scattering.
Using density-functional theory calculations, we investigate the magnetic as well as the dynamical properties of tetragonal SrRuO3 (SRO) under the influence of epitaxial strain. It is found that both the tensile and compressive strain in the xy-plane could induce the abrupt change in the magnetic moment of Ru atom. In particular, under the in-plane ~4% compressive strain, a ferromagnetic to nonmagnetic transition is induced. Whereas for the tensile strain larger than 3%, the Ru magnetic moment drops gradually with the increase of the strain, exhibiting a weak ferromagnetic state. We find that …
We investigated SrFeO$_{3-x}$ thin films on a SrTiO$_3$ (001) substrate prepared via pulsed laser epitaxy using an optical spectroscopy technique. The oxygen vacancy level ($x$) was controlled by post-annealing processes at different oxygen partial pressures. We achieved a brownmillerite(BM) structure at $x =$ 0.5 and observed the evolution of the crystal structure from BM into perovskite(PV) as the oxygen concentration increased. We observed the evolution of infrared-active phonons with respect to the oxygen concentration, which was closely related to the structural evolution observed via X-r…
The effects of electron doping and phonon vibrations on the magnetic properties of monolayer and bilayer FeSe epitaxial films on SrTiO$_3$ have been studied, respectively, using first-principles calculations with van der Waals correction. For monolayer FeSe epitaxial film, the combined effect of electron doping and phonon vibrations readily leads to magnetic frustration between the collinear antiferromagnetic state and the checkerboard antiferromagnetic Néel state. For bilayer FeSe epitaxial film, such magnetic frustration is much more easily induced by electron doping in its bottom layer than…
We investigate the ultrafast relaxation dynamics of hot Dirac fermionic quasiparticles in multilayer epitaxial graphene using ultrafast optical differential transmission spectroscopy. We observe DT spectra which are well described by interband transitions with no electron-hole interaction. Following the initial thermalization and emission of high-energy phonons, the electron cooling is determined by electron-acoustic phonon scattering, found to occur on the time scale of 1 ps for highly doped layers, and 4-11 ps in undoped layers. The spectra also provide strong evidence for the multilayer stu…
We present experimental measurements of the thermal boundary conductance (TBC) from $77 - 500$ K across isolated heteroepitaxially grown ZnO films on GaN substrates. These data provide an assessment of the assumptions that drive the phonon gas model-based diffuse mismatch models (DMM) and atomistic Green's function (AGF) formalisms for predicting TBC. Our measurements, when compared to previous experimental data, suggest that the TBC can be influenced by long wavelength, zone center modes in a material on one side of the interface as opposed to the "vibrational mismatch" concept assumed in the…
The recent progress in the growth of large-area boron nitride epilayers opens up new possibilities for future applications. However, it remains largely unclear how weakly attached two-dimensional BN layers interact with their substrate and how their properties are influenced by defects. In this work, we investigate hBN layers grown by Metal Organic Vapor Phase Epitaxy (MOVPE) using Fourier-transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy in the temperature range of 160-540 K. Our measurements reveal strong differences in the character of layer-substrate interaction for as-grown and delaminated epitaxial…
Domain structures of 320 nm thin epitaxial films of ferroelectric PbTiO3 grown by MOCVD technique in identical conditions on SmScO3 and TbScO3 perovskite sub- strates have been investigated by Raman spectroscopy and piezoresponse force microscopy techniques. Phonon frequency shifts and typical domain structure motifs are discussed. The results reveal strikingly different domain structure architecture: domain structures of the PbTiO3 film grown on SmScO3 have dominantly a-domain orientation while strongly preferential c-domain orientation was found in the PbTiO3 film grown on the TbScO3 substra…
We study the carrier dynamics in epitaxially grown graphene in the range of photon energies from 10 - 250 meV. The experiments complemented by microscopic modeling reveal that the carrier relaxation is significantly slowed down as the photon energy is tuned to values below the optical phonon frequency, however, owing to the presence of hot carriers, optical phonon emission is still the predominant relaxation process. For photon energies about twice the value of the Fermi energy, a transition from pump-induced transmission to pump-induced absorption occurs due to the interplay of interband and …
We report a Raman study of the so-called buffer layer with $(6\sqrt3\times6\sqrt3)R30^{\circ}$ periodicity which forms the intrinsic interface structure between epitaxial graphene and SiC(0001). We show that this interface structure leads to a nonvanishing signal in the Raman spectrum at frequencies in the range of the D- and G-band of graphene and discuss its shape and intensity. Ab-initio phonon calculations reveal that these features can be attributed to the vibrational density of states of the buffer-layer.
First-principles calculations of the epitaxial-strain phase diagram of perovskite SrCoO$_{3}$ are presented. Through combination of the large spin-phonon coupling with polarization-strain coupling and coupling of the band gap to the polar distortion, both tensile and compressive epitaxial strain are seen to drive the bulk ferromagnetic-metallic (FM-M) phase to antiferromagnetic-insulating-ferroelectric (AFM-I-FE) phases, the latter having unusually low elastic energy. At these coupled magnetic-ferroelectric metal-insulator phase boundaries, cross responses to applied electric and magnetic fiel…
We report and compare the structural, magnetic, and optical properties of ordered La2NiMnO6 thin films and its disordered LaNi0.5Mn0.5O3 counterpart. An x-ray diffraction study reveals that the B-site Ni/Mn ordering induces additional XRD reflections as the crystal symmetry is transformed from a pseudocubic perovskite unit cell in the disordered phase to a monoclinic form with larger lattice parameters for the ordered phase. Polarized Raman spectroscopy studies reveal that the ordered samples are characterized by additional phonon excitations that are absent in the disordered phase. The appear…
The electronic and magnetic properties of transition metal dichalcogenides are known to be extremely sensitive to their structure. In this paper we study the effect of structure on the electronic and magnetic properties of mono- and bilayer $VSe_2$ films grown using molecular beam epitaxy. $VSe_2$ has recently attracted much attention due to reports of emergent ferromagnetism in the 2D limit. To understand this important compound, high quality 1T and distorted 1T films were grown at temperatures of 200 $^\text{o}$C and 450 $^\text{o}$C respectively and studied using 4K Scanning Tunneling Micro…
Artificially engineered 2D materials offer unique physical properties for thermal management, surpassing naturally occurring materials. Here, using van der Waals epitaxy, we demonstrate the ability to engineer extremely insulating ultra-thin thermal metamaterials based on crystalline lattice-mismatched Bi2Se3/MoSe2 superlattices and graphene/PdSe2 heterostructures with exceptional thermal resistances (70-202 m^2K/GW) and ultralow cross-plane thermal conductivities (0.01-0.07 Wm^-1K^-1) at room temperature, comparable to those of amorphous materials. Experimental data obtained using frequency-d…
We report on the vapor-solid growth of single crystalline few-layer MoS2 films on (0001)-oriented sapphire with excellent structural and electrical properties over centimeter length scale. High-resolution X-ray diffraction scans indicated that the films had good out-of-plane ordering and epitaxial registry. A carrier density of ~2 x 1011 cm-2 and a room temperature mobility of 192 cm2/Vs were extracted from space-charge limited transport regime in the films. The electron mobility was found to exhibit in-plane anisotropy with a ratio of ~ 1.8. Theoretical estimates of the temperature-dependent …
The temperature dependence of the Seebeck coefficient of homoepitaxial metal organic vapor phase (MOVPE) grown, silicon doped $β$-Ga$_2$O$_3$ thin films was measured relative to aluminum. For room temperature we found the relative Seebeck coefficient of $S_{β\text{-Ga}_2\text{O}_3\text{-Al}}=(-300\pm20)\;μ$V/K. At high bath temperatures $T>240$ K, the scattering is determined by electron-phonon-interaction. At lower bath temperatures between $T=100$ K and $T=300$ K, an increase in the magnitude of the Seebeck coefficient is explained in the frame of Strattons formula. The influence of the diff…
Accessing the regime of coherent phonon propagation in nanostructures opens enormous possibilities to control the thermal conductivity in energy harvesting devices, phononic circuits, etc. In this paper we show that coherent phonons contribute substantially to the thermal conductivity of LaCoO3/SrTiO3 oxide superlattices, up to room temperature. We show that their contribution can be tuned through small variations of the superlattice periodicity, without changing the total superlattice thickness. Using this strategy, we tuned the thermal conductivity by 20% at room temperature. We also discuss…
High-grade MgB2(0001) films were grown on Mg(0001) by means of ultra-high-vacuum molecular beam epitaxy. Low energy electron diffraction and x-ray diffraction data indicate that thick films are formed by epitaxially oriented grains with MgB2 bulk structure. The quality of the films allowed angle-resolved photoemission and polarization dependent x-ray absorption measurements. For the first time, we report the band mapping along the Gamma-A direction and the estimation of the electron-phonon coupling constant l ~ 0.55 for the surface state electrons.
We report x-ray synchrotron experiments on epitaxial films of uranium, deposited on niobium and tungsten seed layers. Despite similar lattice parameters for these refractory metals, the uranium epitaxial arrangements are different and the strains propagated along the a-axis of the uranium layers are of opposite sign. At low temperatures these changes in epitaxy result in dramatic modifications to the behavior of the charge-density wave in uranium. The differences are explained with the current theory for the electron-phonon coupling in the uranium lattice. Our results emphasize the intriguing …
We use point contact Andreev reflection spin spectroscopy to measure the transport spin polarization of MnAs epitaxial films grown on (001) GaAs. By analyzing both the temperature dependence of the contact resistance and the phonon spectra of lead acquired simultaneously with the spin polarization measurements, we demonstrate that all the point contacts are in the ballistic limit. A ballistic transport spin polarization of approximately 49% and 44% is obtained for the type A and type B orientations of MnAs, respectively. These measurements are consistent with our density functional calculation…
Using ultrafast optical pump-probe spectroscopy, we have measured carrier relaxation times in epitaxial graphene layers grown on SiC wafers. We find two distinct time scales associated with the relaxation of nonequilibrium photogenerated carriers. An initial fast relaxation transient in the 70-120 fs range is followed by a slower relaxation process in the 0.4-1.7 ps range. The slower relaxation time is found to be inversely proportional to the degree of crystalline disorder in the graphene layers as measured by Raman spectroscopy. We relate the measured fast and slow time constants to carrier-…

We have investigated hybridized magnon-phonon excitation (magnon polarons) in spin Seebeck effects (SSEs) in Bi$_x$Y$_{3-x}$Fe$_{5}$O$_{12}$ (Bi$_x$Y$_{3-x}$IG; $x=0$, $0.5$, and $0.9$) films with Pt contact. We observed sharp peak structures in the magnetic field $H$ dependence of the longitudinal SSE (LSSE) voltages, which appear when the phonon dispersions are tangential to the magnon dispersion curve in Bi$_x$Y$_{3-x}$IG. By increasing the Bi amount $x$, the peak fields in the LSSE shift toward lower $H$ values due to the reduction of the sound velocities in Bi$_x$Y$_{3-x}$IG. We also meas…
The VO2 polymorphs, i.e., VO2(A), VO2(B), VO2(M1) and VO2(R), have a wide spectrum of functionalities useful for many potential applications in information and energy technologies. However, synthesis of phase pure materials, especially in thin film forms, has been a challenging task due to the fact that the VO2 polymorphs are closely related to each other in a thermodynamic framework. Here, we report epitaxial stabilization of the VO2 polymorphs to synthesize high quality single crystalline thin films and study the phase stability of those metastable materials. We selectively deposit all the p…
Transport characterizations of epitaxial La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin films in the thickness range 5-40 nm and 25-410 K temperature interval have been accurately collected. We show that taking into account polaronic effects allows to achieve the best ever fitting of the transport curves in the whole temperature range. The Current Carriers Density Collapse picture accurately accounts for the properties variation across the metal-insulator-transition. The electron-phonon coupling parameter estimations are in a good agreement with theoretical predictions. The results promote a clear and straightforward qu…
Electron-boson interaction is fundamental to a thorough understanding of various exotic properties emerging in many-body physics. In photoemission spectroscopy, photoelectron emission due to photon absorption would trigger diverse collective excitations in solids, including the emergence of phonons, magnons, electron-hole pairs, and plasmons, which naturally provides a reliable pathway to study electron-boson couplings. While fingerprints of electron-phonon/-magnon interactions in this state-of-the-art technique have been well investigated, much less is known about electron-plasmon coupling, a…
Magneto Raman scattering study of the E$_{2g}$ optical phonons in multi-layer epitaxial graphene grown on a carbon face of SiC are presented. At 4.2K in magnetic field up to 33 T, we observe a series of well pronounced avoided crossings each time the optically active inter Landau level transition is tuned in resonance with the E$_{2g}$ phonon excitation (at 196 meV). The width of the phonon Raman scattering response also shows pronounced variations and is enhanced in conditions of resonance. The experimental results are well reproduced by a model that gives directly the strength of the electro…
The transport and magnetic properties of correlated La{0.53}Sr{0.47}MnO{3} ultrathin films, grown epitaxially on SrTiO{3}, show a sharp cusp at the structural transition temperature of the substrate. Using a combination of experiment and theory we show that the cusp is a result of resonant coupling between the charge carriers in the film and a soft phonon mode in the SrTiO{3}, mediated through oxygen octahedra in the film. The amplitude of the mode diverges towards the transition temperature, and phonons are launched into the first few atomic layers of the film affecting its electronic state.
The minimization of electronics makes heat dissipation of related devices an increasing challenge. When the size of materials is smaller than the phonon mean free paths, phonons transport without internal scatterings and laws of diffusive thermal conduction fail, resulting in significant reduction in the effective thermal conductivity. This work reports, for the first time, the temperature dependent thermal conductivity of doped epitaxial 6H-SiC and monocrystalline porous 6H-SiC below room temperature probed by time-domain thermoreflectance. Strong quasi-ballistic thermal transport was observe…
Magnon-polarons are coherently mixed quasiparticles that originate from the strong magnetoelastic coupling of lattice vibrations and spin waves in magnetic-ordered materials. Recently, magnon-polarons have attracted a lot of attention since they provide a powerful tool to manipulate magnons, which is essential for magnon-based spintronic devices. In this work, we report the experimental observation of facet-dependent magnon-polarons in epitaxial ferrimagnetic Fe3O4 thin films via spin Seebeck effect measurement. The critical magnetic fields for the magnon-polarons in the (110)- and (100)-orien…
Compressively strained epitaxial (001) EuTiO3 thin films of tetragonal symmetry have been deposited on (001) (LaAlO3)_0.29-(SrAl_{1/2}Ta_{1/2}O3)_0.71 (LSAT) substrates by reactive molecular-beam epitaxy. Enhancement of the Neel temperature by 1 K with 0.9% compressive strain was revealed. The polar phonons ofthe films have been investigated as a function of temperature and magnetic field by means of infrared reflectance spectroscopy. All three infrared active phonons show strongly stiffened frequencies compared to bulk EuTiO3 in accordance with first principles calculations. The phonon freque…
Thin films of La5/8-yPryCa3/8MnO3 (y~0.4) have been grown on single crystal SrTiO3 (001) by RF sputtering. The structural and surface characterizations confirm the epitaxial nature of these film. However, the difference between the rocking curve of the (002) and (110) peaks and the presence of pits/holes in the step-terrace type surface morphology suggests high density of defect in these films. Pronounced hysteresis between the field cool cooled (FCC) and field cooled warming (FCW) magnetization measurements suggest towards the non-ergodic magnetic state. The origin of this nonergodicity could…
