In this short note, we prove that the space of all admissible piecewise linear metrics parameterized by length square on a triangulated manifolds is a convex cone. We further study Regge's Einstein-Hilbert action and give a much more reasonable definition of discrete Einstein metric than our former version in \cite{G}. Recently, an algebraic realization of the four-dimensional Pachner move 3--3 was found in terms of Grassmann--Gaussian exponentials, and a remarkable nonlinear parameterization for it, going in terms of a $\mathbb C$-valued 2-cocycle. Here we define, for a given triangulated four-dimensional manifold and a 2-cocycle on it, an `exotic' chain complex intimately related to the mentioned parameterization, thus providing a basis for algebraic realizations of all four-dimensional Pachner moves.

Mogami introduced in 1995 a large class of triangulated 3-dimensional pseudomanifolds, henceforth called "Mogami pseudomanifolds". He proved an exponential bound for the size of this class in terms of the number of tetrahedra.
