Let $\mathcal{C}$ be a Hom-finite triangulated 2-Calabi-Yau category with a cluster tilting object. Under some constructibility assumptions on $\mathcal{C}$ which are satisfied for instance by cluster categories, by generalized cluster categories and by stable categories of modules over a preprojective algebra, we prove a multiplication formula for the cluster character associated with any cluster tilting object. This formula generalizes those obtained by Caldero-Keller for representation finite path algebras and by Xiao-Xu for finite-dimensional path algebras. It is analogous to a formula obtained by Geiss-Leclerc-Schröer in the context of preprojective algebras.
In this paper we consider the Hecke algebra $\mathcal {H}$ associated to an extended affine Weyl group of type $\widetilde{B_2}$. We give some interesting formulas on $C_{rt}S_λ$, which imply some relations between the Kazhdan-Lusztig coefficients $μ(y,w)$ and representations of some algebraic groups. Here $C_{rt}$ is one element in the Kazhdan-Lusztig basis of $\mathcal {H}$ and $S_λ$ is an element in the center of $\mathcal {H}$.
Y. Palu has generalized the cluster multiplication formulas to 2-Calabi-Yau categories with cluster tilting objects (\cite{Palu2}). The aim of this note is to construct a variant of Y. Palu's formula and deduce a new version of the cluster multiplication formula (\cite{XiaoXu}) for acyclic quivers in the context of cluster categories.
We introduce the notion of $\imath$Schur superalgebra, which can be regarded as a type B/C counterpart of the $q$-Schur superalgebra (of type A) formulated as centralizer algebras of certain signed $q$-permutation modules over Hecke algebras. Some multiplication formulas for $\imath$Schur superalgebra are obtained to construct their canonical bases. Furthermore, we established an isomorphism theorem between the $\imath$Scuhr superalgebras and the $q$-Schur superalgebras of type A, which helps us derive a semisimplicity criteria of the $\imath$Schur superalgebras.
We investigate products of certain double cosets for the symmetric group and use the findings to derive some multiplication formulas for q-Schur superalgebras. This gives a combinatorialisation of the relative norm approach developed by the first two authors. We then give several applications of the multiplication formulas, including the matrix representation of the regular representation and a semisimplicity criterion for q-Schur superalgebras. We also construct infinitesimal and little q-Schur superalgebras directly from the multiplication formulas and develop their semisimplicity criteria.
A frieze in the modern sense is a map from the set of objects of a triangulated category $\mathsf{C}$ to some ring. A frieze $X$ is characterised by the property that if $τx\rightarrow y\rightarrow x$ is an Auslander-Reiten triangle in $\mathsf{C}$, then $X(τx)X(x)-X(y)=1$. The canonical example of a frieze is the (original) Caldero-Chapoton map, which send objects of cluster categories to elements of cluster algebras. \par In \cite{friezes1} and \cite{friezes2}, the notion of generalised friezes is introduced. A generalised frieze $X'$ has the more general property that $X'(τx)X'(x)-X'(y)\in\…
We obtain a multiplication formula for cluster characters on (stably) 2-Calabi-Yau (Frobenius or) triangulated categories. This formula generalizes those known for arbitrary pairs of objects and for Auslander-Reiten triangles. As an application, we show that for cluster algebras of acyclic types, specialization of a cluster variable to 1 sends all cluster variables to elements of a cluster algebra of smaller rank. We also obtain application to the reduction of friezes of acyclic type.
We establish a multiplication formula for a tridiagonal standard basis element in the idempotented coideal subalgebras of quantum affine $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ arising from the geometry of affine partial flag varieties of type $C$. We apply this formula to obtain the stabilization algebras $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\mathfrak{c}}_n$, $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\jmath \imath}_{\mathfrak{n}}$, $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\imath \jmath}_{\mathfrak{n}}$ and $\dot{\mathbf K}^{\imath \imath}_η$, which are idempotented coideal subalgebras of quantum affine $\mathfrak{gl}_n$. The symmetry in the formula leads to an isomorphism of the…
Let $Q$ be a finite acyclic valued quiver. We give the cluster multiplication formulas in the quantum cluster algebra of $Q$ with arbitrary coefficients, by applying certain quotients of derived Hall subalgebras of $Q$. These formulas can be viewed as the quantum version of the cluster multiplication theorem in the classical cluster algebra proved by Caldero-Keller for finite type, Hubery for affine type and Xiao-Xu for acyclic quivers.
We prove a multiplication theorem for quantum cluster algebras of acyclic quivers. The theorem generalizes the multiplication formula for quantum cluster variables in \cite{fanqin}. We apply the formula to construct some $\mathbb{ZP}$-bases in quantum cluster algebras of finite and affine types. Under the specialization $q$ and coefficients to $1$, these bases are the integral bases of cluster algebra of finite and affine types (see \cite{CK1} and \cite{DXX}).
We introduce a multivariate generalization of normalized Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind. We prove that these polynomials arise in the context of cluster characters associated to Dynkin quivers of type $\mathbb A$ and representation-infinite quivers. This allows to obtain a simple combinatorial description of cluster algebras of type $\mathbb A$. We also provide explicit multiplication formulas for cluster characters associated to regular modules over the path algebra of any representation-infinite quiver.
Let $G$ denote a complex semisimple linear algebraic group, $P$ a parabolic subgroup of $G$ and $\mathcal{P}=G/P$. We identify the quantum multiplication by divisors in $T^*\mathcal{P}$ in terms of stable basis, which is introduced by Maulik and Okounkov. Using this and the restriction formula for stable basis, we show that the $G\times\mathbb{C}^*$-equivariant quantum multiplication formula in $T^*\mathcal{P}$ is conjugate to the conjectured formula by Braverman.
We describe the general non-associative version of Lie theory that relates unital formal multiplications (formal loops), Sabinin algebras and non-associative bialgebras. Starting with a formal multiplication we construct a non-associative bialgebra, namely, the bialgebra of distributions with the convolution product. Considering the primitive elements in this bialgebra gives a functor from formal loops to Sabinin algebras. We compare this functor to that of Mikheev and Sabinin and show that although the brackets given by both constructions coincide, the multioperator does not. We also show how…
We consider irreversible Markov chains on finite commutative rings randomly generated using both addition and multiplication. We restrict ourselves to the case where the addition is uniformly random and multiplication is arbitrary. We first prove formulas for eigenvalues and multiplicities of the transition matrices of these chains using the character theory of finite abelian groups. The examples of principal ideal rings (such as $\mathbb{Z}_{n}$) and finite chain rings (such as $\mathbb{Z}_{p^k}$) are particularly illuminating and are treated separately. We then prove a recursive formula for …
