The billiard motion inside an ellipsoid $Q \subset \Rset^{n+1}$ is completely integrable. Its phase space is a symplectic manifold of dimension $2n$, which is mostly foliated with Liouville tori of dimension $n$. In this paper we show that the supergravity equations describing both cosmic billiards and a large class of black-holes are, generically, both Liouville integrable as a consequence of the same universal mechanism. We introduce a new class of billiard systems in the plane, with boundaries formed by finitely many arcs of confocal conics such that they contain some reflex angles. Fundamental dynamical, topological, geometric, and arithmetic properties of such billiards are studied. The novelty, caused by reflex angles on boundary, induces invariant leaves of higher genera and dynamical behaviour different from Liouville-Arnold's theorem. We write down an asymptotic expression for action coordinates in an integrable Hamiltonian system with a focus-focus equilibrium. From the singularity in the actions we deduce that the Arnol'd determinant grows infinitely large near the pinched torus. Moreover, we prove that it is possible to globally parametrise the Liouville tori by their frequencies. The article deals with a generalized mathematical model of the dynamics of two point vortices in the Bose-Einstein condensate enclosed in a harmonic trap, and of the dynamics of two point vortices in an ideal fluid bounded by a circular region. We study both analytically and numerically the decay of fidelity of classical motion for integrable systems. We find that the decay can exhibit two qualitatively different behaviors, namely an algebraic decay, that is due to the perturbation of the shape of the tori, or a ballistic decay, that is associated with perturbing the frequencies of the tori. The type of decay depends on initial conditions and on the shape of the perturbation but, for small enough perturbations, not on its size.
