Purity and decomposition theorems for staggered sheaves
Two major results in the theory of l-adic mixed constructible sheaves are the purity theorem (every simple perverse sheaf is pure) and the decomposition theorem (every pure object in the derived category is a direct sum of shifts of simple perverse sheaves). On the quasi-hereditary property for staggered sheaves
Let G be an algebraic group over an algebraically closed field, acting on a variety X with finitely many orbits. "Staggered sheaves" are certain complexes of G-equivariant coherent sheaves on X that seem to possess many remarkable properties. In this paper, we construct "standard" and "costandard" objects in the category of staggered sheaves, and we prove that that category has enough projectives and injectives.

Staggered t-structures on derived categories of equivariant coherent sheaves
Let X be a scheme, and let G be an affine group scheme acting on X. Under reasonable hypotheses on X and G, we construct a t-structure on the derived category of G-equivariant coherent sheaves that in many ways resembles the perverse coherent t-structure, but which incorporates additional information from the G-action. Under certain circumstances, this t-structure, called the "staggered t-structure," has an artinian heart, and its simple objects are particularly easy to describe. Multiplier ideal sheaves and geometric problems
In this expository article we first give an overview on multiplier ideal sheaves and geometric problems in Kählerian and Sasakian geometries. Then we review our recent results on the relationship between the support of the subschemes cut out by multiplier ideal sheaves and the invariant whose non-vanishing obstructs the existence of Kähler-Einstein metrics on Fano manifolds.

Generic vanishing filtrations and perverse objects in derived categories of coherent sheaves
This is a mostly expository paper, intended to explain a very natural relationship between two a priori distinct notions appearing in the literature: Generic Vanishing in the context of vanishing theorems and birational geometry, and Perverse Coherent Sheaves in the context of derived categories. I describe homological and commutative algebra criteria for checking either condition, and then recall applications to geometric situations. A few new results, and especially new proofs, are included as well.
