Results of a next-to-leading order calculation of the inclusive cross section for a photon and a heavy quark (charm or bottom), $p \bar p / pp \to γ+Q +X$, are presented. Pointlike photon subprocesses through ${\cal O}(αα_{s}^2)$ and fragmentation subprocesses through ${\cal O}(α_{s}^3)$ are included. The calculation is performed using a phase space slicing technique so that the effects of experimental cuts can be included. Results for the ratios of the charm and bottom cross sections are presented and the systematics of the various subprocesses for both the Tevatron and the LHC are compared and contrasted.
We compute the next-to-leading order corrections in $α_s$ to prompt diphoton production in association with a jet at hadron colliders. We use a next-to-leading order general-purpose partonic Monte Carlo event generator that allows the computation of a rate differential in the produced photons and hadrons.
We investigate single sneutrino production in the context of R-parity-violating Supersymmetry at future $γγ$ linear colliders. The sneutrino is produced in association with fermion pairs and it is shown that its decays into two further fermions will lead to a clean signal. We also discuss possible backgrounds and the effects of beam polarisation.
We investigate the production of Higgs particles in association with the supersymmetric scalar partners of the top quark at proton colliders. In the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model, the cross sections for the production of the lightest neutral Higgs boson in association with top squark pairs can be rather large, substantially exceeding the rate for the associated Higgs boson production with top quarks. If the lightest top squark is not much heavier than the top quark, this process will enhance the potential of the CERN Large Hadron Collider to discover the lightest neutr…
While it is natural for supersymmetric particles to be well within the mass range of the large hadron collider, it is possible that the sparticle masses could be very heavy. Signatures are examined at a very high energy hadron collider and an very high luminosity option for the Large Hadron Collider in such scenarios.
This talk gives a brief introduction to open questions in jet physics and QCD which come to the fore in the high-luminosity regime characterizing the upcoming phase of the Large Hadron Collider and future hadron colliders.

The theoretical status of Higgs boson and supersymmetric particle production at hadron colliders is reviewed with particular emphasis on recent results and open problems.
We present the full ${\cal O}(α_{ew})$ electroweak radiative corrections to the Higgs-boson production in association with $Z^0$-boson pair at an electron-positron linear collider(LC) in the standard model. We analyze the dependence of the full one-loop corrections on the Higgs-boson mass $m_{H}$ and colliding energy $\sqrt{s}$. We find that the corrections significantly suppress the Born cross section, and the ${\cal O}(α_{ew})$ electroweak radiative corrections are generally between 1.0% and -15% in our chosen parameter space, which should be taken into consideration in the future precise ex…
To provide context for discussions of experiments at future muon colliders, I survey what is known and what will be known about the top quark and the Higgs boson from experiments at hadron colliders.
The models of large extra compact dimensions, as suggested by Arkani-Hamed, Dimopoulos and Dvali, predict exciting phenomenological consequences with gravitational interactions becoming strong at the TeV scale. Such theories can be tested at the existing and future colliders. In this paper, we study the contribution of virtual Kaluza-Klein excitations in the process $e^+e^- \to t \bar t H $ at future linear collider (NLC). We present the next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak (EW) corrections to the top quark pair production associated with a hard photon at the current and future hadron colliders. The dependence of the leading order (LO) and NLO EW corrected cross sections on the photon transverse momentum cut are investigated. We present compact analytic expressions for all one-loop helicity amplitudes contributing to ttbar production at hadron colliders. Using recently developed generalised unitarity methods and a traditional Feynman based approach we produce a fast and flexible implementation.
We investigate the discovery potential of Kaluza-Klein gluons as a dijet resonance at hadron colliders with different center-of-mass energies, from 14 TeV to 33 TeV to 100 TeV. We also present the current bounds from dijet searches at UA2, Tevatron, and LHC.
We present here the results for Higgs and Supersymmetry prospective searches at the Large Hadron Collider. We show that for one year at high luminosity, Standard Model and MSSM Higgs should be observed within the theoretically expected mass range. MSUGRA and restricted phenomenological MSSM searches lead to discovery of up to 2.5 TeV squarks and gluinos.
We compute the pair production cross section of two Kaluza Klein modes in the Randall-Sundrum model at $e^+e^-$ and hadron hadron colliders. These processes are interesting because they get dominant contribution from the graviton interaction at next to leading order. Hence they provide a nontrivial test of the low scale gravity models. All the Feynman rules at next to leading order are also presented. These rules may be useful for many phenomenological applications including the computation of higher order loop corrections.
The International Linear Collider (ILC) will be able to precisely measure the electroweak couplings of the top in e+e- -> tt~. We compare the limits which can be achieved at the ILC with those which can be obtained in tt~gamma$ and tt~Z production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
The quartic Higgs self-coupling is the final measurement in the Higgs potential needed to fully understand electroweak symmetry breaking. None of the present or future colliders are known to be able to determine this parameter. We study the chances of measuring the quartic self-coupling at hadron colliders in general and at the VLHC in particular. We find the prospects challenging.
In this work we seek to compute precisely the rate at which these Higgs particles are produced as a function of the transverse momentum and the rapidity at the Large Hadron Collider. This calculation is carried out to next leading order in the QCD strong coupling $α_s$. In particular, this calculation includes the dominant gluon-initiated mechanism, which is responsible for the majority of the cross section. We work in the infinite top mass approximation, and argue that this is very precise in the domain of applicability.
The theoretical status of squark and gluino production at present and future hadron colliders is reviewed. I shall concentrate on the evaluation of SUSY-QCD corrections to the production cross sections and their phenomenological implications.

We review the TeV scale $B-L$ extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (BLSSM) where an inverse seesaw mechanism of light neutrino mass generation is naturally implemented and concentrate on its hallmark manifestations at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
The current theoretical predictions for the observables related to the top-quark pair and the single-top productions at hadron colliders are briefly reviewed. The theoretical predictions are compared to the experimental measurements carried out at the Tevatron and the LHC.
Significant colour interference effects are expected in V(=gamma,W,Z)+jet production at hadron colliders. These directly influence the hadronic antenna patterns and can provide a valuable diagnostic tool for probing the nature of the underlying parton subprocesses. Motivated by these ideas, we present quantitative predictions for the distributions of soft particles and jets in W+jet production at the Tevatron proton-antiproton collider.
This Thesis is devoted to the study of the phenomenology of the Higgs sector of the minimal $B-L$ extension of the Standard Model at present and future colliders. Firstly, the motivations that call for the minimal $B-L$ extension are summarised. In addition, the model is analysed in its salient parts. Moreover, a detailed review of the phenomenological allowed Higgs sector parameter space is given. Finally, a complete survey of the distinctive Higgs boson signatures of the model at both the Large Hadron Collider and the future linear colliders is presented.
I investigate the sensitivity of future hadron colliders to di-jet resonances arising from Z' or coloron models. The projected discovery potential and exclusion limits for these resonances is presented in the coupling vs. mass plane, which highlights both the increased mass reach from higher energy machines as well as the improved coupling sensivity from larger luminosity.
We review the status of QCD at hadron colliders with emphasis on precision predictions and the latest theoretical developments for cross sections calculations to higher orders. We include an overview of our current information on parton distributions and discuss various Standard Model reactions such as W/Z-boson, Higgs boson or top quark production.
The determination of the full SUSY QCD corrections to the production of squarks, gluinos and gauginos at hadron colliders is reviewed. The NLO corrections stabilize the theoretical predictions of the various production cross sections significantly and lead to sizeable enhancements of the most relevant cross sections. We discuss the phenomenological consequences of the results on present and future experimental analyses.
I discuss strategies for probing CP properties in the top quark system at $e^-e^+$ and hadron Colliders. The magnitudes of CP violation effects predicted by various models are reviewed. I also discuss the potential of various current and future colliders in measuring the CP asymmetry associated with the productions and/or decays of the top quarks.
We review the status of theoretical calculations relevant for electroweak physics at hadron colliders. The large parton flux at high energy gives rise to events where different pairs of partons interact contemporarily with large momentum exchange. We present calculations of the cross-section for two, three and four weak gauge bosons production in single and multiparton interactions.
We consider higher-order QCD corrections for vector boson production at hadron colliders. We present recent results on transverse-momentum resummation for Z production. Moreover we show numerical results from a new fully exclusive next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) calculation.
A brief review of the strategies used in looking for CP violation in B decays is presented. Some problems due to penguin diagrams are addressed. Penguin trapping is discussed, in the context of the upcoming experiments. The high rates and the possibility to perform experiments on the $B_s$ system justify the interest in hadronic colliders.
I present improved predictions for the total hadronic cross section of stop-antistop production at hadron colliders including next-to-next-to-leading-order threshold corrections and approximated Coulomb corrections. The results are based on soft corrections, which are logarithmically enhanced near threshold. I present analytic formulas for the NNLO scaling functions at threshold and explicit numbers for the total hadronic cross sections for the Tevatron and the LHC. Finally I discuss the systematic error, the scale uncertainty and the PDF error of the hadronic cross section.
We briefly present the status of QCD corrections to the inclusive total cross section for the production of a Higgs boson in association with a top-quark pair within the Standard Model at hadron colliders.
The observation of many unexpected states decaying into heavy quarkonia has challenged the usual QQbar interpretation. One of the most studied exotic states, the X(3872), happens to be copiously produced in high-energy hadron collisions. We discuss how this large prompt production cross-section disfavors a loosely-bound molecule interpretation for this particle. This is supported by Monte Carlo simulations, and by a comparison with extrapolated light nuclei data by ALICE.
We calculate the Yukawa corrections of order $O(α_{ew}m_{t(b)}^{2}/m_{W}^{2})$ to charged Higgs boson production in association with a top quark at the Tevatron and the LHC. The corrections are not very sensitive to the mass of the charged Higgs boson and can exceed -20% for low values of $\tanβ$, where the contribution of the top quark is large, and high values of $\tanβ$ where the contribution of the bottom quark becomes large. We consider QCD corrections to Higgs boson production through gluon-gluon fusion in hadron collisions. We compute the effects of soft-gluon emission to all orders. We present numerical results at the Tevatron and the LHC.
Top-quark physics plays an important role at hadron colliders such as the Tevatron collider at Fermilab or the upcoming Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Given the planned experimental precision, detailed theoretical predictions are mandatory. In this article we present analytic results for the complete electroweak corrections to gluon induced top-quark pair production, completing our earlier results for the quark-induced reaction. A spin-1 weakly interacting vector boson, Z', is predicted by many new physics theories. Searches at colliders for such a Z' resonance typically focus on lepton-antilepton or top-antitop events. Here we present a novel channel with a Z' resonance that decays to 4 leptons, but not to 2 leptons, and discuss its possible discovery at the Large Hadron Collider. This baryonic gauge boson is well motivated in a supersymmetry framework.
We examined the single production of fourth family b' quarks at the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC).We have analyzed the background and the signal processes for the mass range 300-800 GeV. We find the discovery region for an optimal parametrization of the Vqb' matrix elements.
We investigate the production of fourth family up-type quarks using effective lagrangian approach at future lepton-hadron colliders and study the kinematical characteristics of the signal with an optimal set of cuts. We obtain the upper mass limits 500 GeV at THERA and one TeV at Linac $\otimes$ LHC.
