Searches for Physics beyond the Standard Model have entered an exciting new phase: the complete HERA data samples obtained until the end of operations in the Summer of 2007 are now available for analysis. ZEUS and H1 have each collected about 0.5 fb^{-1} of lepton proton data, distributed over electron and positron running, and over different lepton beam polarisations. At the same time the Fermilab Tevatron proton-antiproton collider is accumulating data at unprecedented rates, with current analyses based on up to 3 fb^{-1}. The Tevatron experiments DZERO and CDF have each already recorded over 4 fb^{-1} (Fall 2008), and are aiming for a total of 8 fb^{-1} of antiproton-proton collisions at 2 TeV center-of-mass energy for Tevatron Run II. I am presenting recent updates (from the last 12 months) on searches, grouped loosely into three classes: well-established `traditional' searches, mostly for very specific signatures and models, more recent and/or more generalized searches for broader classes of phenomena, and newer searches that strive to be model-independent.
Recent results on searches for new physics at Run II of the Tevatron and highlights from HERA are reported. The searches cover many different final states and a wide range of models. All analyses have at this point led to negative results, but some interesting anomalies have been found.
Recent results from HERA and TevaTron on precision tests of QCD with jets, W and Z bosons and photons associated with jets and heavy flavours are presented. The measurements were used to probe QCD at the highest energies, to provide experimental constraints on SM processes that constitute background to new physics, to extract values of the coupling of the strong interaction and to constrain the proton parton distribution functions. The implications of the results on LHC physics are discussed.
In this review, we first discuss the perspectives concerning a better determination of the proton structure in terms of quarks and gluons at LHC after describing the results coming from HERA and Tevatron. In a second part of the review, we describe the diffractive phenomena at HERA and Tevatron and the consequences for LHC.
Recent results of searches for events containing isolated leptons and missing transverse momentum at HERA are presented. Searches in this final state have yielded notable excesses over Standard Model expectations in the past. Searches for isolated leptons in channels corresponding to all three generations of leptons over the full HERA running period are now available. The combined H1+ZEUS results for searches for electrons and muons are compatible with the Standard Model.
Recent results on searches for new physics at Run II of the Tevatron are reported. The searches cover many different final states and previous hints of signals, but all analyses have at this point led to negative results.
The CDF and DO experiments have collected and analyzed about 300 inverse picobarns of data during the Run II of the Tevatron. Results of searches for new non supersymmetric particles based on these datasets will be presented.
We present an overview of the full range of Higgs searches in models beyond the Standard Model at the Tevatron. This includes both searches for Fermiophobic Higgs and for SUSY Higgs at high tan beta. No excess is seen in the data, so model dependent limits are set.

I describe recent signature-based searches for anomalous physics processes using up to 2.9/fb of data from the CDF or D0 detectors at the Fermilab Tevatron. While each search conveys its sensitivity by interpreting a null result in terms of one or more specific exotic models, the searches are designed to be broadly sensitive to many models.
Results are presented for beyond the Standard Model Higgs boson searches using up to 4.2 fb-1 of data from Run II at the Tevatron. No significant excess is observed in any of the channels so 95% confidence level limits are presented.

The CDF and D0 collaborations have results on a large number of searches for beyond-the-standard-model phenomena. This talk focuses on searches for non-supersymmetric model signatures. As the integrated luminosity of the Run II Tevatron increases, the sensitivity to new physics is approaching and in some cases surpassing that previously attained in Run I. Presented below are a selection of new results from searches for physics beyond the Standard Model at the CDF and D0 experiments.
We report on results obtained at the Tevatron by the CDF and D0 collaborations up to June 2008 (2.4 fb-1), on searches for standard model (SM) Higgs bosons having a high mass (135-200 GeV). High mass Higgs bosons decay dominantly in WW and the presented searches are performed in the leptonic decay modes of the W's. Both direct production (ppbar -> H) and associated production (ppbar -> WH) are studied and eventually combined with all channels available at the Tevatron. Prospects for SM Higgs searches with the full projected Tevatron statistics are also given.
Recent searches for leptoquark production and compositeness in p-anti-p collisions at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV are presented using data samples with integrated luminosities up to 4 fb^{-1} recorded with the D0 and CDF detectors at the Tevatron collider.
One of the highest priority physics goals for the upgraded Tevatron experiments, CDF and D0, is the search for the Higgs boson. We present the initial results from both experiments, based on 40--90 pb$^{-1}$ integrated luminosity, of Higgs searches in several final states, including $WH$ and $ZH$, $H\to WW$, and doubly-charged Higgs.
Various recent results of new particle searches at the Fermilab Tevatron are presented. No evidence is found for supersymmetric particles (chargino, gluino), leptoquark bosons and heavy gauge bosons in p-pbar collisions at sqrt{s} = 1.8 TeV. Excluded mass regions for each particle are determined.
In this article results from supersymmetry searches at D0 and CDF are reported. Searches for third generation squarks, searches for gauginos, and searches for models with R-parity violation are described. As no signs of supersymmetry for these models are observed, the most stringent limits to date are presented.
Results of searches at the Tevatron for physics (non-SUSY and non-Higgs) beyond the Standard Model using 200/pb to 480/pb of data are discussed. Searches at DO and CDF for Z', Lepton-Quark compositeness, Randall-Sundrum Gravitons, Large Extra Dimensions, W', Leptoquarks and Excited Electrons are presented here.
Successful operation of the Large Hadron Collider has led to more than 1 fb^-1 of data recorded with both ATLAS and CMS detectors by summer of 2011. This large amount of data has allowed to perform numerous searches for rare processes beyond the Standard Model, many of which are competitive with previous searches performed with the CDF and D0 detectors at the Tevatron. In this talk the most recent searches at the hadron colliders are reviewed.
Searches for contact interactions, leptoquark bosons and excited fermions carried out at the HERA ep collider are presented here. The searches are based on ~ 40 pb^-1 of e+ p data per experiment collected at a centre of mass energy ~ 300 GeV. First results on e- p data collected in 1998-1999 are also presented.
The results for searches for Supersymmetry (SUSY) at the Tevatron Collider are summarized in this paper. We focus here on searches for trileptons and the lightest stop, as well as scenarios with R-parity violation and split supersymmetry. No significant excesses with respect to the Standard Model were observed and constraints are set on the SUSY parameter space.
Approximately taking into account the higher-order effects due to multiple-gluon initial-state radiation, we extract from the latest Tevatron data of prompt J/psi hadroproduction the leading colour-octet matrix elements within the nonrelativistic-QCD (NRQCD) factorization formalism proposed by Bodwin, Braaten, and Lepage. We find that the matrix elements which describe the formation of J/psi mesons from colour-octet cc-bar pairs in the angular-momentum states ^{2S+1}L_J = ^1S_0 and ^3P_J, with J = 0,1,2, which are responsible for the excess of the predicted cross section of inelastic J/psi pho…
The DØ and CDF experiments have each collected more than 8 fb-in Run II of Fermilab's Tevatron, and have many recent search results which use up to 5.2 fb-1 . Here I summarize the results of a variety of searches for physics beyond the Standard Model with an emphasis on searches for very exotic phenomena. I will present the status of model-inspired searches for several signatures of supersymmetry, as well as several other searches for several "hidden- valley" inspired models, all of which contain photons and jets in the final state.

Recent searches for non-SUSY exotics in $p\bar{p}$ collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV at the Tevatron Run II are reported. The emphasis is put on the results of model-driven analyses which were updated to the full Run IIA datasets corresponding to integrated luminosities of about 1 $fb^{-1}$.
The rapidly increasing integrated luminosity collected by the CDF and D0 detectors at the Tevatron Collider has resulted in a wealth of new results from searches for Higgs bosons in the extensions of the Standard Model. Tighter limits are set on the parameters governing the Higgs sector in these models.

Recent preliminary results obtained by the CDF and D0 Collaborations on searches for the Higgs boson in proton anti-proton collisions at Sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron collider are discussed. The data, corresponding to integrated luminosities of about 1 fb-1, show no excess of a signal above the expected background in any of the decay channels examined. Instead, upper limits at 95% Confidence Level on the cross section are established. Further, a combined Standard Model Tevatron cross section limit is presented.
We present the current status of searches for supersymmetry performed at the Tevatron accelerator at Fermilab by the CDF and D0 collaborations using luminosity of up to 2.1 fb-1. We focus on searches for charginos, neutralinos, squarks, gluinos and sneutrinos in several supersymmetric scenarios. No supersymmetric signal is detected and limits on the masses and production cross sections for the supersymmetric particles are set.
The Standard Model of particle physics has a number of asymmetries suggestive of a more fundamental theory, where the symmetries are restored. If the symmetry breaking scale is the electroweak scale, new Higgs bosons beyond that of the Standard Model could be observed at the Tevatron. Recent Tevatron searches have set the most stringent limits on new Higgs bosons in a variety of models.
This paper describes the searches for the Higgs boson performed by the CDF and D0 collaborations at the Tevatron ppbar Collider using the data collected in the 1992-95 run. Searches for standard model Higgs and as well for neutral and charged minimal SUSY Higgs bosons are also presented. No signal has been observed and limits are set for production cross sections.
Hadronic processes in which hard diffractive production takes place have been observed and analyzed in collider experiments for several years. The experimental rates of diffractive W's and dijets measured at the Tevatron and the cross sections of diffractively produced dijets recently obtained at the HERA experiment are the object of this analysis. We use the Pomeron structure function obtained from the HERA data by two different approaches to calculate the rates and cross sections for these processes. The comparison of theoretical predictions with the measured values reveals some discrepancie…
We present the non-standard model Higgs boson searches at both DO and CDF experiments. We concentrate on three topics, reported by DO and CDF recently: the searches for the minimal supersymmetric Higgs boson using pp--> hbb --> bbbb and pp --> hX --> tau tau X, and for long-lived doubly charged Higgs boson.
Quark-quark and quark-lepton searches for compositenss at the Fermilab Tevatron are summarized. These are of the contact-interaction variety where sqrt(s-hat) < the hypothesized mass scales, Lambda. Tevatron experiments limit a variety of compositeness phenomena in the range from 1.9 to 8.3 TeV. These limits result from measurements of: the Ht spectrum (D0), dijet mass (D0), dijet angular distribution (CDF, D0), drell-yan production (CDF, D0), and the Neutral Current to Charged Current ratio (CCFR/NuTeV).
This paper summarizes searches at the Fermilab Tevatron for a wide variety of signatures for physics beyond the Standard Model. These include searches for supersymmetric particles, in the two collider detectors and in one fixed target experiment. Also covered are searches for leptoquarks, dijet resonances, heavy gauge bosons, and particles from a fourth generation, as well as searches for deviations from the Standard Model predictions in dijet angular distributions, dilepton mass distributions, and trilinear gauge boson couplings.
We present the status of the Standard Model Higgs boson searches in final states containing τ leptons using data collected from p-pbar collisions at Fermilab Tevatron collider at center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV. A summary of the latest results from CDF and D0 collaborations is reported in this paper.
We review the status of the searches for the Higgs boson in the context of the Standard Model and the Minimal SuperSymmetric Standard Model by the CDF and DO experiments at the Fermilab Tevatron proton-antiproton collider, using up to $2.4 \rm{fb}^{-1}$ of Run II data. Since no evidence of signal above the expected background is observed in any of the various final states examined, limits at 95% confidence level are presented.
This paper reviews the most recent results on searches for physics beyond the Standard Model at Tevatron. Both the collider experiments: CDF and DO are performing a large variety of searches such as searches for scalar top and scalar bottom particles, search for new gauge bosons, search for long-lived massive particles and general searches for new particles decaying into dijets. The results, summarized here, are a selection of what obtained recently by both the collaborations using the Run II data, collected so far.
The HERA collaborations, H1 and ZEUS, have searched for physics beyond the Standard Model in ep collisions at centre-of-mass energies of up to 319 GeV. In this article the experimental results coming from the HERA I phase are summarised and the constraints on theories of new physics including Contact Interactions, Large Extra Dimensions, Leptoquarks, FCNC and various scenarios in R-parity violating supersymmetry are discussed. In addition the first results on searches for new physics coming from the upgraded HERA II collider are presented.
We present the results of searches for non-standard model phenomena, with focus on signature-based searches and searches driven by non-supersymmetry (non-SUSY) models. The analyses use 1.0--2.5 fb-1 of data from ppbar collisions at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV collected with the CDF and D0 detectors at the Fermilab Tevatron. No significant excess in data has been observed. We report on the event counts, kinematic distributions, and limits on selected model parameters.
The CDF and DØ experiments at the Tevatron are currently the only capable of searching for the Standard Model Higgs boson. This article describes their most sensitive searches in the expected Higgs mass range, focusing on advanced methods used to extract the maximal sensitivity from the data. CDF presents newly updated results for $H \to W^+W^-$ and $ZH \to l^+l^- b\bar{b}$. DØ\ presents two new searches for $WH \to lνb\bar{b}$. These new analyses use the same 1 fb$^{-1}$ dataset as previous searches, but with improved techniques resulting in markedly improved sensitivity.
We present results for various searches for signatures of standard and non-standard model Higgs boson decays conducted at the collider detectors CDF and DO using ~ 100 pb^-1 of integrated luminosity each from the Tevatron Collider Run 1 (1992-96) at \sqrt{s} = 1.8 TeV. No evidence for a Higgs boson decay is found and various limits are set.
We present the results of searches for non-standard model phenomena in photon and jet final states. These searches use data from integrated luminosities of 0.7--2.7/fb of p-pbar collisions at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV, collected with the CDF and D0 detectors at the Fermilab Tevatron. No significant excess in data has been observed. We report limits on the parameters of several models, including: large extra dimension, compositeness, leptoquarks, and supersymmetry.
Search for non-Standard-Model Higgs bosons is one of the major goals of the ongoing Fermilab Tevatron run. Large data sets accumulated by the CDF and D0 experiments break new grounds in sensitivity. We review recent Tevatron results on searches for Higgs bosons in Minimal Supersymmetric Model in the multi b-jet and tau-tau final states, as well as a search for fermiophobic Higgs in the multiphoton final state.
The search for the Higgs boson, both in the context of the standard model and extensions to it, has been a key focus during Run II of the Tevatron. I report on the status of these searches, which are highlighted by evidence at the 3 standard deviation level for the SM Higgs in its $b\bar{b}$ decay mode, the strongest direct evidence to date for fermionic couplings of the Higgs boson.
