Higgs Boson Searches via Dileptonic Bottomonium Decays

We explore the pseudoscalar $η_b$ and the scalar $χ_{b0}$ decays into $\ell^+\ell^-$ to probe whether it is possible to probe the Higgs sectors beyond that of the Standard Model. We, in particular, focus on the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, and determine the effects of its Higgs bosons on the aforementioned bottomonium decays into lepton pairs. We find that the dileptonic branchings of the bottomonia can be sizeable for a relatively light Higgs sector.

Finding Higgs bosons heavier than 2 m_W in dileptonic W-boson decays

We reconsider observables for discovering a heavy Higgs boson (with m_h > 2m_W) via its di-leptonic decays h -> WW -> l nu l nu. We show that observables generalizing the transverse mass that take into account the fact that both of the intermediate W bosons are likely to be on-shell give a significant improvement over the variables used in existing searches. We also comment on the application of these observables to other decays which proceed via narrow-width intermediates.

Cornering Light Stops with Dileptonic mT2

Supersymmetric spectra with a stop NLSP and a neutralino or gravitino LSP present a special challenge for collider searches. Compressed Stop Searches with Two Leptons and Two b-jets

In top squark (stop) searches with a compressed spectrum, it is very helpful to consider the stop production recoiling against a hard jet from the initial state radiation to obtain a significant amount of missing transverse energy. Loopholes in $Z^\prime$ searches at the LHC: exploring supersymmetric and leptophobic scenarios

Searching for heavy vector bosons $Z^\prime$, predicted in models inspired by Grand Unification Theories, is among the challenging objectives of the LHC. Tetraquark Interpretation of the Charged Bottomonium-like states Z_b^+-(10610) and Z_b^+-(10650) and Implications

We present a tetraquark interpretation of the charged bottomonium-like states Z+-_b(10610) and Z+-_b(10650), observed by the Belle collaboration in the pi+- Upsilon(nS) (n=1,2,3) and pi+- h_b(mP) (m=1,2) invariant mass spectra from the data taken near the peak of the Upsilon(5S). Searching for new physics in Upsilon decays

We study some possible experimental consequences of new physics on the spectrum and decays of bottomonium states below $B\bar{B}$ threshold. In addition to lepton universality breaking in Upsilon decays, large widths of pseudoscalar $η_b$ resonances and mixing with a non-standard CP-odd light Higgs boson might smooth and shift the signal peak from hindered radiative M1 transitions between $Υ$ and $η_b$ states in the photon energy spectrum, as searched by CLEO. Twin Higgs models are the prime illustration of neutral naturalness, where the new particles of the twin sector, gauge singlets of the Standard Model (SM), ameliorate the little hierarchy problem. Light Higgs searches in $t \bar t ϕ$ production at the LHC

In this paper we propose a new reconstruction method to explore the low mass region in the associated production of top-quark pairs ($t\bar{t}$) with a generic scalar boson ($ϕ$) at the LHC. The new method of mass reconstruction shows an improved resolution of at least a factor of two in the low mass region when compared to previous methods, without the loss of sensitivity of previous analyses. Scalar mass dependence of angular variables in $t\bar tϕ$ production

In this paper we explore CP discrimination in the associated production of top-quark pairs ($t\bar{t}$) with a generic scalar boson ($ϕ$) at the LHC. We probe the CP-sensitivity of several observables for a varying scalar boson mass and CP-number, either CP-even ($ϕ=H$) or CP-odd ($ϕ=A$), using dileptonic final states of the $t\bar{t}ϕ$ system, with $ϕ\rightarrow b\bar{b}$.
