On curvature-adapted and proper complex equifocal submaniflds

In this paper, we investigate a curvature-adapted and proper complex equifocal submanifold in a symmetric space of non-compact type. The class of these submanifolds contains principal orbits of Hermann type actions as homogeneous examples. In future, the results in this paper will be used to give a submanifold geometrical characterization of principal orbits of Hermann type actions.

Homogeneity of proper complex equifocal submanifolds

In this paper, we show that an irreducible proper complex equifocal submanifold of codimension greater than one in a symmetric space of non-compact type. The proof is performed by showing the homogeneity of the lift of the complexification of the original submanifold to some infinite dimensional anti-Kahelerian space.

On equifocal Finsler submanifolds and analytic maps

A relevant property of equifocal submanifolds is that their parallel sets are still immersed submanifolds, which makes them a natural generalization of the so-called isoparametric submanifolds. In this paper, we prove that the regular fibers of an analytic map $π:M^{m+k}\to B^{k}$ are equifocal whenever $M^{m+k}$ is endowed with a complete Finsler metric and there is a restriction of $π$ which is a Finsler submersion for a certain Finsler metric on the image. In addition, we prove that when the fibers provide a singular foliation on $M^{m+k}$, then this foliation is Finsler.

Generalizations of isoparametric foliations

Isoparametric submanifolds and hypersurfaces in space forms are geometric objects that have been studied since E. Cartan. Another important class of geometric objects is the orbits of a polar action on a Riemannian manifold,e.g., the orbits of the adjoint action of a Lie group on itself. Real hypersurfaces in complex and quaternionic hyperbolic spaces

We introduce curvature-adapted foliations of complex hyperbolic space and study some of their properties. Generalized pseudo-Einstein hypersurfaces of complex hyperbolic space are classified. Analogous results for curvature-adapted hypersurfaces of quaternionic hyperbolic space are also obtained.

A Poisson transform adapted to the Rumin complex

Let $G$ be a semisimple Lie group with finite center, $K\subset G$ a maximal compact subgroup, and $P\subset G$ a parabolic subgroup.
