In this paper we develop a QCD motivated model for both hard and soft interactions at high energies. In this model the long distance behavior of the scattering amplitude is determined by the approximate solution to the non-linear evolution equation for parton system in the saturation domain. All phenomenological parameters for dipole-proton interaction were fitted from the deep inelastic scattering data and the soft processes are described with only one new parameter, related to the wave function of hadron. It turns out that we do not need to introduce the so called soft Pomeron that has been used in high energy phenomenology for four decades. The model described all data on soft interactions: the values of total, elastic and diffractive cross sections as well as their $s$ and $t$ behavior. The value for the survival probability of the diffractive Higgs production is calculated being less 1% for the LHC energy range.
A simple model based on Regge approach is proposed for description of the central exclusive production (CEP) of the light tensor glueball lying on the Regge trajectory of the soft Pomeron.
In this paper we suggest a new approach to the structure of the soft Pomeron: based on the $t$-channel unitarity, we expressed the exchange of the soft Pomeron through the interaction of the dipole of small size of the order of $1/Q_s(Y)$ ($Q_s(Y)$ is the saturation momentum) with the hadrons. Therefore, it is shown that the typical distances in soft processes are small $r \sim 1/Q_s\Lb \h Y \Rb $, where $Y \,=\,ln s$. The saturation momentum, which determines the energy dependence of the scattering amplitude is proportional to $ Q^2_s\Lb \h Y \Rb \propto\,\exp\Lb\h λ\,Y\Rb$, with $λ\approx\,0…
The correspondence between the gluon density behavior of the color dipole picture and the two-Pomeron approach at low $x$ deep inelastic scattering is considered. For photon virtualities of $Q^{2}{\gtrsim}10~\mathrm{GeV}^{2}$, the results for the parametrization and CDP models are defined by the CDP asymptotic limit and are compatible with the soft and hard-Pomeron approach. These results show that the hard-Pomeron trajectory does not guarantee converging towards the asymptotic representation at low and large $Q^{2}$ ($Q^{2}{\lesssim}100~\mathrm{GeV}^{2}$) values in a wide range of the virtual…
In the framework of our model of soft interactions at high energy based on CGC/saturation approach,we show that Bose-Einstein correlations of identical gluons lead to large values of $v_n$. We demonstrate how three dimensional scales of high energy interactions: hadron radius, typical size of the wave function in diffractive production of small masses (size of the constituent quark), and the saturation momentum, influence the values of BE correlations, and in particular, the values of $v_n$. Our calculation shows that the structure of the `dressed' Pomeron leads to values of $v_n$ which are cl…
We consider the central exclusive production of high $E_T$ jets $pp\to p+(X+{\rm dijet})+p$. In particular we study the possible contamination of the purely exclusive signal by semi-exclusive production where no other secondaries are emitted in one hemisphere, between the highest $E_T$ dijet and the recoil proton, while in the other hemisphere a third jet, plus possibly additional hadron activity, is allowed, but still separated from the incoming proton by a large rapidity gap. This process arising from the fusion of a hard and a soft Pomeron has not been considered before. It turns out that i…
We apply the tensor-pomeron model to small-$x$ deep-inelastic lepton-proton scattering and photoproduction. Our model includes a soft and a hard tensor pomeron as well as a reggeon contribution. Data with c.m. energies $6 < \sqrt{s} < 318$ GeV and virtualities $Q^2 < 50 \,\mbox{GeV}^2$ are considered. Our fit gives a very good description of the available data in this kinematic region, including the latest HERA data for $x < 0.01$. In particular, the transition region from low to high $Q^2$ is well described. Within the errors, the hard pomeron is absent in photoproduction. The intercepts of t…
The proton structure function and a soft Regge Dipole Pomeron: a test with recent data
该模型还再现(不适合)最近估计的实验衍生物${\partial F_2^p\over\partial\ell n Q^2}$和${\partial \ell n F_2^p\over\partial\ell n (1/x)}$在广泛的$x$和$Q^2$ -区域。
