Magnetic monopoles have attracted the attention of physicists since the founding of the electromagnetic theory. Their search has been a constant endeavor which was intensified when Dirac established the relation between the existence of monopoles and charge quantization. However, these searches have been unsuccessful. We have recently proposed that monopolium, a monopole-antimonopole bound state, so strongly bound that it has a relatively small mass, could be easier to find and become an indirect but clear signature for the existence of magnetic monopoles. In here we extend our previous analysis for its production to two photon fusion at LHC energies.
The exclusive production by the photon fusion of magnetic monopoles and the bound states of magnetic monopoles, the monopolium, is consider in different high energy processes. More specifically, we calculate the total cross sections of the ultraperipheral elastic collisions of electron-electron, proton-proton and lead-lead in present and future colliders, comparing with the previous results found in the literature. Our results indicates that magnetic monopoles or his bound states, if both exists, can be measuareble in future electron-electron colliders.

A model of monopolium is constructed based on an electromagnetic dual formulation of Zwanziger and lattice gauge theory. To cope with the strong coupling nature of the magnetic charge, for which the monopole is confined, $ U(1) $ lattice gauge theory is applied. The monopole is assumed to have a finite-sized inner structure based on a 't Hooft-Polyakov like solution in which the magnetic charge is uniformly distributed on the surface of a sphere. The Large Hadron Collider is reaching energies never achieved before allowing the search for exotic particles in the TeV mass range. In a continuing effort to find monopoles we discuss the effect of the magnetic dipole field created by a pair of monopole-anti-monopole or monopolium on the successive bunches of charged particles in the beam at LHC.
The spin 1/2 magnetic monopole pair production and the spin 0 monopolium production are studied in proton-proton collisions. For the pair production, the velocity-dependent coupling model and the additional effective coupling with a magnetic moment parameter are used for the calculation of photon fusion and Drell Yan cross sections. Since the monopole mass is unknown, the mass range employed is based on the last results of ATLAS and the MoEDAL experiment, which set a minimal value of around 2 TeV. While it is natural for supersymmetric particles to be well within the mass range of the large hadron collider, it is possible that the sparticle masses could be very heavy. Signatures are examined at a very high energy hadron collider and an very high luminosity option for the Large Hadron Collider in such scenarios.
This talk gives a brief introduction to open questions in jet physics and QCD which come to the fore in the high-luminosity regime characterizing the upcoming phase of the Large Hadron Collider and future hadron colliders.

We report the calculation of next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD corrections in the purely gluonic channel to dijet production and related observables at hadron colliders. We discuss theoretical aspects of parton distribution functions for very high energy scattering in relation with upcoming measurements in DIS and hadron-hadron collisions.

We present compact analytic expressions for all one-loop helicity amplitudes contributing to ttbar production at hadron colliders. Using recently developed generalised unitarity methods and a traditional Feynman based approach we produce a fast and flexible implementation.
We investigate the discovery potential of Kaluza-Klein gluons as a dijet resonance at hadron colliders with different center-of-mass energies, from 14 TeV to 33 TeV to 100 TeV. We also present the current bounds from dijet searches at UA2, Tevatron, and LHC.
We present here the results for Higgs and Supersymmetry prospective searches at the Large Hadron Collider. We show that for one year at high luminosity, Standard Model and MSSM Higgs should be observed within the theoretically expected mass range. MSUGRA and restricted phenomenological MSSM searches lead to discovery of up to 2.5 TeV squarks and gluinos.
We compute the pair production cross section of two Kaluza Klein modes in the Randall-Sundrum model at $e^+e^-$ and hadron hadron colliders. These processes are interesting because they get dominant contribution from the graviton interaction at next to leading order. Hence they provide a nontrivial test of the low scale gravity models. All the Feynman rules at next to leading order are also presented. These rules may be useful for many phenomenological applications including the computation of higher order loop corrections.
The International Linear Collider (ILC) will be able to precisely measure the electroweak couplings of the top in e+e- -> tt~. We compare the limits which can be achieved at the ILC with those which can be obtained in tt~gamma$ and tt~Z production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
The quartic Higgs self-coupling is the final measurement in the Higgs potential needed to fully understand electroweak symmetry breaking. None of the present or future colliders are known to be able to determine this parameter. We study the chances of measuring the quartic self-coupling at hadron colliders in general and at the VLHC in particular. We find the prospects challenging.
In this work we seek to compute precisely the rate at which these Higgs particles are produced as a function of the transverse momentum and the rapidity at the Large Hadron Collider. This calculation is carried out to next leading order in the QCD strong coupling $α_s$. In particular, this calculation includes the dominant gluon-initiated mechanism, which is responsible for the majority of the cross section. We work in the infinite top mass approximation, and argue that this is very precise in the domain of applicability.
The theoretical status of squark and gluino production at present and future hadron colliders is reviewed. I shall concentrate on the evaluation of SUSY-QCD corrections to the production cross sections and their phenomenological implications.

We review the TeV scale $B-L$ extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (BLSSM) where an inverse seesaw mechanism of light neutrino mass generation is naturally implemented and concentrate on its hallmark manifestations at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
The current theoretical predictions for the observables related to the top-quark pair and the single-top productions at hadron colliders are briefly reviewed. The theoretical predictions are compared to the experimental measurements carried out at the Tevatron and the LHC.
Significant colour interference effects are expected in V(=gamma,W,Z)+jet production at hadron colliders. These directly influence the hadronic antenna patterns and can provide a valuable diagnostic tool for probing the nature of the underlying parton subprocesses. Motivated by these ideas, we present quantitative predictions for the distributions of soft particles and jets in W+jet production at the Tevatron proton-antiproton collider.
This Thesis is devoted to the study of the phenomenology of the Higgs sector of the minimal $B-L$ extension of the Standard Model at present and future colliders. Firstly, the motivations that call for the minimal $B-L$ extension are summarised. In addition, the model is analysed in its salient parts. Moreover, a detailed review of the phenomenological allowed Higgs sector parameter space is given. Finally, a complete survey of the distinctive Higgs boson signatures of the model at both the Large Hadron Collider and the future linear colliders is presented.
We compute the next-to-leading order corrections in $α_s$ to prompt diphoton production in association with a jet at hadron colliders. We use a next-to-leading order general-purpose partonic Monte Carlo event generator that allows the computation of a rate differential in the produced photons and hadrons.
I investigate the sensitivity of future hadron colliders to di-jet resonances arising from Z' or coloron models. The projected discovery potential and exclusion limits for these resonances is presented in the coupling vs. mass plane, which highlights both the increased mass reach from higher energy machines as well as the improved coupling sensivity from larger luminosity.
We review the status of QCD at hadron colliders with emphasis on precision predictions and the latest theoretical developments for cross sections calculations to higher orders. We include an overview of our current information on parton distributions and discuss various Standard Model reactions such as W/Z-boson, Higgs boson or top quark production.
The determination of the full SUSY QCD corrections to the production of squarks, gluinos and gauginos at hadron colliders is reviewed. The NLO corrections stabilize the theoretical predictions of the various production cross sections significantly and lead to sizeable enhancements of the most relevant cross sections. We discuss the phenomenological consequences of the results on present and future experimental analyses.
I discuss strategies for probing CP properties in the top quark system at $e^-e^+$ and hadron Colliders. The magnitudes of CP violation effects predicted by various models are reviewed. I also discuss the potential of various current and future colliders in measuring the CP asymmetry associated with the productions and/or decays of the top quarks.
We review the status of theoretical calculations relevant for electroweak physics at hadron colliders. The large parton flux at high energy gives rise to events where different pairs of partons interact contemporarily with large momentum exchange. We present calculations of the cross-section for two, three and four weak gauge bosons production in single and multiparton interactions.
We consider higher-order QCD corrections for vector boson production at hadron colliders. We present recent results on transverse-momentum resummation for Z production. Moreover we show numerical results from a new fully exclusive next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) calculation.
A brief review of the strategies used in looking for CP violation in B decays is presented. Some problems due to penguin diagrams are addressed. Penguin trapping is discussed, in the context of the upcoming experiments. The high rates and the possibility to perform experiments on the $B_s$ system justify the interest in hadronic colliders.
I present improved predictions for the total hadronic cross section of stop-antistop production at hadron colliders including next-to-next-to-leading-order threshold corrections and approximated Coulomb corrections. The results are based on soft corrections, which are logarithmically enhanced near threshold. I present analytic formulas for the NNLO scaling functions at threshold and explicit numbers for the total hadronic cross sections for the Tevatron and the LHC. Finally I discuss the systematic error, the scale uncertainty and the PDF error of the hadronic cross section.
We briefly present the status of QCD corrections to the inclusive total cross section for the production of a Higgs boson in association with a top-quark pair within the Standard Model at hadron colliders.
The observation of many unexpected states decaying into heavy quarkonia has challenged the usual QQbar interpretation. One of the most studied exotic states, the X(3872), happens to be copiously produced in high-energy hadron collisions. We discuss how this large prompt production cross-section disfavors a loosely-bound molecule interpretation for this particle. This is supported by Monte Carlo simulations, and by a comparison with extrapolated light nuclei data by ALICE.
We consider QCD corrections to Higgs boson production through gluon-gluon fusion in hadron collisions. We compute the effects of soft-gluon emission to all orders. We present numerical results at the Tevatron and the LHC.
Top-quark physics plays an important role at hadron colliders such as the Tevatron collider at Fermilab or the upcoming Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Given the planned experimental precision, detailed theoretical predictions are mandatory. In this article we present analytic results for the complete electroweak corrections to gluon induced top-quark pair production, completing our earlier results for the quark-induced reaction. A spin-1 weakly interacting vector boson, Z', is predicted by many new physics theories. Searches at colliders for such a Z' resonance typically focus on lepton-antilepton or top-antitop events. Here we present a novel channel with a Z' resonance that decays to 4 leptons, but not to 2 leptons, and discuss its possible discovery at the Large Hadron Collider. This baryonic gauge boson is well motivated in a supersymmetry framework.
We examined the single production of fourth family b' quarks at the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC).We have analyzed the background and the signal processes for the mass range 300-800 GeV. We find the discovery region for an optimal parametrization of the Vqb' matrix elements.
We investigate the production of fourth family up-type quarks using effective lagrangian approach at future lepton-hadron colliders and study the kinematical characteristics of the signal with an optimal set of cuts. We obtain the upper mass limits 500 GeV at THERA and one TeV at Linac $\otimes$ LHC.
