We study an extension of the MSSM with a singlet S with coupling SH1H2 in order to solve the mu problem as in the NMSSM, and right-handed neutrinos N with couplings SNN in order to generate dynamically electroweak-scale Majorana masses. We show how in this model a purely right-handed sneutrino can be a viable candidate for cold dark matter in the Universe. Through the direct coupling to the singlet, the sneutrino can not only be thermal relic dark matter but also have a large enough scattering cross section with nuclei to detect it directly in near future, in contrast with most of other right-handed sneutrino dark matter models.
We consider supersymmetric models with right-handed neutrinos where neutrino masses are purely Dirac-type. In this model, right-handed sneutrino can be the lightest supersymmetric particle and can be a viable candidate of cold dark matter of the universe. Right-handed sneutrinos are never thermalized in the early universe because of weakness of Yukawa interaction, but are effectively produced by decays of various superparticles. When the minimal supersymmetric standard model is augmented by three right-handed neutrino superfields, one generically predicts that the neutrinos acquire Majorana masses. We postulate that all supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking masses as well as the Majorana masses of the right-handed neutrinos are around the electroweak scale and, motivated by the smallness of neutrino masses, assume that the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) is an almost-pure right-handed sneutrino. We discuss a D-term inflation scenario where a right-handed sneutrino can be an inflaton field leading to a viable inflation and leptogenesis, with a minimal form of Kähler potential. The decay of an inflaton sneutrino can non-thermally create large enough lepton asymmetry. Its entropy production is also big enough to ameliorate the gravitino problem caused by too high a reheating temperature from the decay of a symmetry breaking field.
The relic abundance of the lightest right-handed sneutrino dark matter in supersymmetric B-L extension of the standard model is revisited. We argue that it can form a bound state through the exchange of light B-L Higgs boson and a large non-perturbative Sommerfeld effect is obtained. We emphasized that with this effect the relic abundance of right-handed sneutrino will lie within the observational limits and the right-handed sneutrino will remain a viable dark matter candidate of mass order up to 1.5 TeV.

We consider an extension of nuMSSM with an extra U(1) that realizes D-term inflation driven by the right-handed sneutrino. Non-renormalizable terms in the Kahler potential and the superpotential are considered, the latter controlled by a suitable discrete R-symmetry. We find that, for subplanckian inflaton values, the predictions of inflationary parameters are compatible with observations, establishing the right-handed sneutrino driven inflation as a viable scenario.
We argue that the superpartner of the Dirac right-handed neutrino is a prime candidate for dark matter created from a 'mattergenesis' mechanism. In this paper, we explore the parameter space for a Right-Handed (RH) sneutrino curvaton that can generate large non-Gaussianity without assuming any particular inflation sector. The mass of the RH sneutrino is suggested from a discussion on the initial condition of the curvaton field. It is shown that a small Yukawa coupling is generally required for a successful RH sneutrino curvaton. However, the Yukawa coupling can be larger if we consider the braneworld scenario. Some general discussion about the spectral index in curvaton scenario is also provided.

We consider supersymmetric model with right-handed (s)neutrinos where the neutrino masses are purely Dirac-type. We discuss cosmology based on such a scenario, paying particular attention to the case that the gravitino is the lightest superparticles (LSP) while the right-handed sneutrino is the next-LSP. It will be shown that the cosmological constraints on the gravitino-LSP scenario (in particular, those from the big-bang nucleosynthesis) are drastically relaxed in such a case. We will also consider the implication of such scenario to the structure formation.
We propose a scenario for realizing inflation in the framework of supersymmetric B-L extension of the Standard Model. We find that one of the associated right-handed sneutrinos (the superpartner of the Standard Model singlet fermion) can provide a new non-trivial inflationary trajectory at tree level (therefore breaking B-L during inflation). We show that mostly right-handed Dirac sneutrino is a viable supersymmetric light dark matter candidate. While the Dirac sneutrino scattering with nuclei is dominantly through the $Z$ boson exchange and is stringently constrained by the invisible decay width of $Z$ boson, it is possible to realize a large enough cross section with nucleon to account for possible signals observed at direct dark matter searches such as CDMS II-Si or CoGeNT. Even if the XENON100 limit is taken into account, a small part of signal region for CDMS II-Si events remains outside the excluded region by XENON100.
We extend previous work on the minimal D-term inflation model modified by Right-Handed (RH) sneutrino fields to include additional inflaton-sector SUGRA corrections and two-field inflation effects. We show that SUGRA corrections simultaneously allow n_{s} to be within 3-year WMAP limits and the cosmic string contribution to the CMB power spectrum to be less than 5%. We study the light-element abundances in supersymmetric model where the right-handed sneutrino is the lightest superparticle (LSP), assuming that the neutrino masses are purely Dirac-type. In such a scenario, the lightest superparticle in the minimal supersymmetric standard model sector (which we call MSSM-LSP) becomes long-lived, and thermal relic MSSM-LSP may decay after the big-bang nucleosynthesis starts. We investigate the parameter space of a supersymmetric model with an extended U(1) gauge symmetry in which the RH sneutrino is a thermal dark matter candidate. In this scenario, annihilation of RH sneutrinos proceeds mainly through Higgs or Z' exchange. We find that sneutrinos in the mass range from 50GeV to more than 1 TeV can be consistent with both the WMAP limit and the direct detection upper limits. In this paper, we consider large non-Gaussianity generated after D-term inflation in the case that the adiabatic curvature perturbation produced is dominated by a right-handed (RH) sneutrino curvaton. The cosmic string problem can also be evaded with around 10% contribution to the CMB power spectrum and the spectral index $n_s \simeq 1$. We propose a chaotic inflation model in which the lightest right-handed sneutrino serves as the inflaton and the predicted values of the spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio are consistent with the Planck data. We compare the difference of the result between single- and two-curvaton cases. We investigate the prospects for their direct detection, addressing their compatibility with the recent signal observed by the CoGeNT detector, and study the implications for Higgs phenomenology. We perform a new and updated analysis of sneutrinos as dark matter candidates, in different classes of supersymmetric models. We extend previous analyses by studying sneutrino phenomenology for full variations of the supersymmetric parameters which define the various models. We first revisit the standard Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, concluding that sneutrinos are marginally compatible with existing experimental bounds, including direct detection, provided they compose a subdominant component of dark matter. Supersymmetric extensions to the standard model provide viable dark matter candidates, and can introduce additional charge-parity (CP) violation, needed for obtaining the observed baryon asymmetry of the universe. We study the possibilities of scalar and neutralino dark matter with spontaneous CP violation in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model with a right handed neutrino. We show that a Dirac right-handed scalar neutrino can be weakly interacting massive particle in the neutrinophilic Higgs model. When the additional Higgs fields couple only to the leptonic sector through neutrino Yukawa couplings, the right number of relic density of dark matter can be obtained from thermal freeze-out of the dark matter annihilation into charged leptons and neutrinos. The left-handed sneutrino in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) has been ruled out as a viable thermal dark matter candidate, due to conflicting constraints from direct detection experiments and from the measurement of the dark matter relic density. The intrinsic fine-tuning problem of the MSSM, however, motivates an extension with a new U(1)' gauge symmetry. The most naive interpretation of the BICEP2 data is the chaotic inflation by an inflaton with a quadratic potential. When combined with supersymmetry, we argue that the inflaton plays the role of right-handed scalar neutrino based on rather general considerations. The framework suggests that the right-handed sneutrino tunneled from a false vacuum in a landscape to our vacuum with a small negative curvature and suppressed scalar perturbations at large scales.
We consider Higgsino-like dark matter (DM) in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) with additional right-handed neutrino chiral superfields, and propose a new non-thermal way of generating the right amount of relic DM via sneutrino late decays. We investigate the collider signatures of neutral and charged Long-Lived Particles (LLPs), predicted by the Supersymmetric $B-L$ extension of the Standard Model (BLSSM), at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The BLSSM is a natural extension of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) that can account for non-vanishing neutrino masses.
