We elaborate on the expansion of hypergeometric functions about rational parameters, where we focus mainly on the integer and half-integer case. The strategy and the basic steps of a recently developed algorithm for the expansion about half-integer parameters are described. The algorithm is implemented in the Mathematica package HypExp, by means of which we derive (partially new) results of selected multi-loop Feynman diagrams. Moreover, we give a new formulation of a conjecture in the context of a three-loop master integral in HQET.

Hypergeometric representation of the two-loop equal mass sunrise diagram

A recurrence relation between equal mass two-loop sunrise diagrams differing in dimensionality by 2 is derived and it's solution in terms of Gauss' 2F1 and Appell's F_2 hypergeometric functions is presented. For arbitrary space-time dimension d the imaginary part of the diagram on the cut is found to be the 2F1 hypergeometric function with argument proportional to the maximum of the Kibble cubic form. The analytic expression for the threshold value of the diagram in terms of the hypergeometric function 3F2 of argument -1/3 is given.

HypExp, a Mathematica package for expanding hypergeometric functions around integer-valued parameters

We present the Mathematica package HypExp which allows to expand hypergeometric functions $_JF_{J-1}$ around integer parameters to arbitrary order. At this, we apply two methods, the first one being based on an integral representation, the second one on the nested sums approach. The expansion works for both symbolic argument $z$ and unit argument. We also implemented new classes of integrals that appear in the first method and that are, in part, yet unknown to Mathematica.

Towards all-order Laurent expansion of generalized hypergeometric functions around rational values of parameters

Finding new relationships between hypergeometric functions by evaluating Feynman integrals

Several new relationships between hypergeometric functions are found by comparing results for Feynman integrals calculated using different methods. A new expression for the one-loop propagator-type integral with arbitrary masses and arbitrary powers of propagators is derived in terms of only one Appell hypergeometric function F_1. From the comparison of this expression with a previously known one, a new relation between the Appell functions F_1 and F_4 is found. Hypergeometric Structures in Feynman Integrals

Hypergeometric structures in single and multiscale Feynman integrals emerge in a wide class of topologies. Using integration-by-parts relations, associated master or scalar integrals have to be calculated. A Novel Algorithm for Nested Summation and Hypergeometric Expansions

We consider a class of sums over products of Z-sums whose arguments differ by a symbolic integer. Such sums appear, for instance, in the expansion of Gauss hypergeometric functions around integer indices that depend on a symbolic parameter. We present a telescopic algorithm for efficiently converting these sums into generalized polylogarithms, Z-sums, and cyclotomic harmonic sums for generic values of this parameter. A new approach to the epsilon expansion of generalized hypergeometric functions

Assumed that the parameters of a generalized hypergeometric function depend linearly on a small variable $\varepsilon$, the successive derivatives of the function with respect to that small variable are evaluated at $\varepsilon=0$ to obtain the coefficients of the $\varepsilon$-expansion of the function. Hypergeometric Functions and Feynman Diagrams

The relationship between Feynman diagrams and hypergeometric functions is discussed. Special attention is devoted to existing techniques for the construction of the $ε$-expansion. Feynman integrals as A-hypergeometric functions

We show that the Lee-Pomeransky parametric representation of Feynman integrals can be understood as a solution of a certain Gel'fand-Kapranov-Zelevinsky (GKZ) system.
