This paper presents monotonicity of subelliptic estimates on rigid pseudoconvex domains. As an application of monotonicity, we will show that if a rigid monomial domain is of finite type in the D'Angelo's sense, then the sharp subelliptic estimate of this domain equals the reciprocal of the type.

Subellipticity of the $\bar\partial$-Neumann problem on a weakly $q$-pseudoconvex/concave domain

For a domain $D$ of $\mathbb{C}^n$ which is weakly $q$-pseudoconvex or $q$-pseudoconcave we give a sufficient condition for subelliptic estimates for the $\bar{\partial}$-Neumann problem. Algorithms for subelliptic multipliers in $\mathbb{C}^2$

We give examples of pseudoconvex domains of finite type in $\mathbb{C}^2$ where the Kohn algorithm for subelliptic estimates fails to yield an effective lower bound for the order of subellipticity in terms of the type. We show how to modify the algorithm to obtain an effective procedure to prove subellipticity on domains of finite type in $\mathbb{C}^2$ with real analytic boundary satisfying a condition slightly stronger than pseudoconvexity. We close with a generalization to higher dimensions.

Non-Subelliptic estimates for the tangential Cauchy-Riemann system

We prove non-subelliptic estimates for the tangential Cauchy-Riemann system over a weakly "$q$-pseudoconvex" higher codimensional submanifold $M$ of $\C^n$. Let us point out that our hypotheses do not suffice to guarantee subelliptic estimates, in general. Even more: hypoellipticity of the tangential C-R system is not in question (as shows the example by Kohn in case of a Levi-flat hypersurface). Effective Termination of Kohn's Algorithm for Subelliptic Multipliers

This note discusses the problem of the effective termination of Kohn's algorithm for subelliptic multipliers for bounded smooth weakly pseudoconvex domains of finite type. We give a complete proof for the case of special domains of finite type and indicate briefly how this method is to be extended to the case of general bounded smooth weakly pseudoconvex domains of finite type.

A sufficient condition for subellipticity of the d-bar-Neumann operator

We give a sufficient condition for subelliptic estimates for the d-bar-Neumann operator on smoothly bounded, pseudoconvex domains in $\mathbb{C}^n$. This condition is a quantified version of McNeal's condition ($\tilde{P}$) for compactness of the d-bar-Neumann operator, and it extends Catlin's condition for subellipticity as it is less stringent.

A general method of weights in the d-bar-Neumann problem

Convex domains, Hankel operators, and maximal estimates

Let $1\leq q\leq (n-1)$. We first show that a necessary condition for a Hankel operator on $(0,q-1)$-forms on a convex domain to be compact is that its symbol is holomorphic along $q$-dimensional analytic varieties in the boundary. Because maximal estimates (equivalently, a comparable eigenvalues condition on the Levi form of the boundary) turn out to be favorable for compactness of Hankel operators, this result then implies that on a convex domain, maximal estimates exclude analytic varieties from the boundary, except ones of top dimension $(n-1)$ (and their subvarieties).
