In this paper we study Backward Stochastic Differential Equations with two reflecting right continuous with left limits obstacles (or barriers) when the noise is given by Brownian motion and a Poisson random measure mutually independent. The jumps of the obstacle processes could be either predictable or inaccessible. We show existence and uniqueness of the solution when the barriers are completely separated and the generator uniformly Lipschitz. We do not assume the existence of a difference of supermartingales between the obstacles. As an application, we show that the related mixed zero-sum differential-integral game problem has a value.
We prove some new results on reflected BSDEs and doubly reflected BSDEs driven by a multi-dimensional RCLL martingale. The goal is to develop a general multi-asset framework encompassing a wide spectrum of nonlinear financial models, including as particular cases the setups studied by Peng and Xu \cite{PX2009} and Dumitrescu et al. \cite{DGQS2018} who dealt with BSDEs driven by a one-dimensional Brownian motion and a purely discontinuous martingale with a single jump. Our results are not covered by existing literature on reflected and doubly reflected BSDEs driven by a Brownian motion and a Po…
We study the problem of existence of solutions for generalized backward stochastic differential equation with two reflecting barriers (GRBSDE for short) under weaker assumptions on the data. Roughly speaking we show the existence of a maximal solution for GRBSDE when the terminal condition ξis F_T-measurable, the coefficient f is continuous with general growth with respect to the variable y and stochastic quadratic growth with respect to the variable z and the reflecting barriers L and U are just right continuous left limited. The result is proved without assuming any P-integrability condition…
We study a discrete time approximation scheme for the solution of a doubly reflected Backward Stochastic Differential Equation (DBBSDE in short) with jumps, driven by a Brownian motion and an independent compensated Poisson process. Moreover, we suppose that the obstacles are right continuous and left limited (RCLL) processes with predictable and totally inaccessible jumps and satisfy Mokobodski's condition. Our main contribution consists in the construction of an implementable numerical sheme, based on two random binomial trees and the penalization method, which is shown to converge to the so…
We introduce a discrete time reflected scheme to solve doubly reflected Backward Stochastic Differential Equations with jumps (in short DRBSDEs), driven by a Brownian motion and an independent compensated Poisson process. As in Dumitrescu-Labart (2014), we approximate the Brownian motion and the Poisson process by two random walks, but contrary to this paper, we discretize directly the DRBSDE, without using a penalization step. This gives us a fully implementable scheme, which only depends on one parameter of approximation: the number of time steps $n$ (contrary to the scheme proposed in Dumit…
Results on the existence, uniqueness and strict comparison for solutions to a BSDE driven by a multi-dimensional RCLL martingale are established. The goal is to develop a general multi-asset framework encompassing a wide spectrum of nonlinear financial models with jumps, including as particular cases the setups studied by Peng and Xu \cite{PX2009,PX2010} and Dumitrescu et al. \cite{DGQS2018} who dealt with BSDEs driven by a one-dimensional Brownian motion and a purely discontinuous martingale with a single jump.
In this paper we deal with Skorokhod problem for right continuous left limited (rcll) barriers. We prove existence and uniqueness of the solution when the barriers are only supposed to be rcll and completely separated. Then, we apply our results to prove existence and uniqueness of the solution of a reflected stochastic differential equation (SDE).

We study the optimal stopping problem for dynamic risk measures represented by Backward Stochastic Differential Equations (BSDEs) with jumps and its relation with reflected BSDEs (RBSDEs). We first provide general existence, uniqueness and comparison theorems for RBSDEs with jumps in the case of a RCLL adapted obstacle. We then show that the value function of the optimal stopping problem is characterized as the solution of an RBSDE. The existence of an optimal stopping time is obtained when the obstacle is left-upper semi-continuous along stopping times. Finally, robust optimal stopping proble…
We solve a class of doubly reflected backward stochastic differential equation whose generator depends on the resistance due to reflections, which extend the recent work of Qian and Xu on reflected BSDE with one barrier. We then obtain the existence and uniqueness and the continuous dependence theorem for this reflected BSDE.
We consider BSDEs with two reflecting irregular barriers. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of $\mathbb{L}^{p}$ solutions for equations with generators monotone with respect to $y$ and Lipschitz continuous with respect to $z$, and with data in $\mathbb{L}^{p}$ spaces for $p\ge 1$. We also prove that the solutions can be approximated via penalization method.
We study the existence of solutions to backward stochastic differential equations with drivers f(t,W,y,z) that are convex in z. We assume f to be Lipschitz in y and W but do not make growth assumptions with respect to z. We first show the existence of a unique solution (Y,Z) with bounded Z if the terminal condition is Lipschitz in W and that it can be approximated by the solutions to properly discretized equations. If the terminal condition is bounded and uniformly continuous in W, we show the existence of a minimal continuous supersolution by uniformly approximating the terminal condition wit…
We study the existence of a solution for a one-dimensional generalized backward stochastic differential equation with two reflecting barriers (GRBSDE for short) under assumptions on the input data which are weaker than that on the current literature. In particular, we construct a maximal solution for such a GRBSDE when the terminal condition ξis only F_T-measurable and the driver f is continuous with general growth with respect to the variable y and stochastic quadratic growth with respect to the variable z without assuming any P-integrability conditions. The work is suggested by the interest …
We introduce a generalized Dynkin game problem with non linear conditional expectation ${\cal E}$ induced by a Backward Stochastic Differential Equation (BSDE) with jumps. Let $ξ, ζ$ be two RCLL adapted processes with $ξ\leq ζ$. The criterium is given by \begin{equation*} {\cal J}_{τ, σ}= {\cal E}_{0, τ\wedge σ} \left(ξ_τ\textbf{1}_{\{ τ\leq σ\}}+ζ_σ\textbf{1}_{\{σ<τ\}}\right) \end{equation*} where $τ$ and $ σ$ are stopping times valued in $[0,T]$. Under Mokobodski's condition, we establish the existence of a value function for this game, i.e. $\inf_σ\sup_τ {\cal J}_{τ, σ} = \sup_τ \inf_σ {\ca…
In the first part of this paper we give a solution for the one-dimensional reflected backward stochastic differential equation (BSDE for short) when the noise is driven by a Brownian motion and an independent Poisson point process. The reflecting process is right continuous with left limits (rcll for short) whose jumps are arbitrary. We first prove existence and uniqueness of the solution for a specific coefficient in using a method based on a combination of penalization and the Snell envelope theory. To show the result in the general framework we use a fixed point argument in an appropriate s…
The aim of this paper is to characterize the Snell envelope of a given P-measurable process l as the minimal solution of some backward stochastic differential equation with lower general reflecting barriers and to prove that this minimal solution exists.
We study the problem of existence and uniqueness of solutions of backward stochastic differential equations with two reflecting irregular barriers, $L^p$ data and generators satisfying weak integrability conditions. We deal with equations on general filtered probability spaces. In case the generator does not depend on the $z$ variable, we first consider the case $p=1$ and we only assume that the underlying filtration satisfies the usual conditions of right-continuity and completeness. Additional integrability properties of solutions are established if $p\in(1,2]$ and the filtration is quasi-le…
We introduce a new formulation of reflected BSDEs and doubly reflected BSDEs associated with irregular obstacles. In the first part of the paper, we consider an extension of the classical optimal stopping problem over a larger set of stopping systems than the set of stopping times (namely, the set of split stopping times), where the payoff process $ξ$ is irregular and in the case of a general filtration. Split stopping times are a powerful tool for modeling financial contracts and derivatives that depend on multiple conditions or triggers, and for incorporating stochastic processes with jumps …
This paper deals with the problem of existence and uniqueness of a solution for a backward stochastic differential equation (BSDE for short) with one reflecting barrier in the case when the terminal value, the generator and the obstacle process are Lp-integrable with p in ]1,2[. To construct the solution we use two methods: penalization and Snell envelope. As an application we broaden the class of functions for which the related obstacle partial differential equation problem has a unique viscosity solution.
