A Note on Coseparable Coalgebras

Given a coalgebra $C$ over a commutative ring $R,$ we show that $C$ can be considered as a (not necessarily counital) $C^{\ast op}$-coring. Moreover, we show that this coring has a left (right) counity if and only if $C$ is coseparable as an $R$-coalgebra.

A note on connected cofiltered coalgebras, conilpotent coalgebras and Hopf algebras

This notes gives a proof that a connected coaugmented cofiltered coalgebra is a conilpotent coalgebra and thus a connected coaugmented cofiltered bialgebra is a Hopf algebra. This applies in particular to a connected coaugmented cograded coalgebra and a connected coaugmented cograded bialgebra.

On Coreflexive Coalgebras and Comodules over Commutative Rings

In this note we study dual coalgebras of algebras over arbitrary (noetherian) commutative rings. We present and study a generalized notion of coreflexive comodules and use the results obtained for them to characterize the so called coreflexive coalgebras. Our approach in this note is an algebraically topological one.

The splitting problem for coalgebras: a direct approach

In this note we give a different and direct short proof to a previous result of Nastasescu and Torrecillas in \cite{NT} stating that if the rational part of any right $C^*$ module $M$ is a direct sumand in $M$ then $C$ must be finite dimensional (the splitting problem for coalgebras).

Galois comodules

Galois comodules of a coring are studied. The conditions for a simple comodule to be a Galois comodule are found. A special class of Galois comodules termed principal comodules is introduced. These are defined as Galois comodules that are projective over their comodule endomorphism rings. A complete description of principal comodules in the case a background ring is a field is found. Localization in coalgebras. Applications to finiteness conditions

The injective right comodules appearing in the minimal injective resolution of a finite-dimensional comodule need not to be of finite dimension or even quasi-finite. The obstruction here is that factor comodules of quasi-finite comodules are not in general quasi-finite. This note is mainly devoted to the study of coalgebras for which the class of all quasi-finite right comodules is closed under factor comodules. A major tool here is the local study, in the sense of abstract localization, of the comodules which have all their factors quasi-finite.

Cofrobenius Corings and adjoint Functors

We study co-Frobenius and more generally Quasi-co-Frobenius corings over arbitrary baserings and over PF baserings in particular. We generalize some results about (Quasi-) co-Frobenius coalgebras to the case of non-commutative base rings and give several new characterisations for co-Frobenius and Quasi-co-Frobenius corings, some of them are new even in the coalgebra situation. A Note On Coinduction Functors between Categories of Comodules for Corings

In this note we consider different versions of coinduction functors between categories of comodules for corings induced by a morphism of corings. On Linear Difference Equations over Rings and Modules

In this note we develop a coalgebraic approach to the study of solutions of linear difference equations over modules and rings. Some known results about linearly recursive sequences over base fields are generalized to linearly (bi)recursive (bi)sequences of modules over arbitrary commutative ground rings.

A Note on Braided $T$-categories over Monoidal Hom-Hopf Algebras

Let $ Aut_{mHH}(H)$ denote the set of all automorphisms of a monoidal Hopf algebra $H$ with bijective antipode in the sense of Caenepeel and Goyvaerts \cite{CG2011}.
