The branching fractions of D_s meson decays serve to normalize many measurements of processes involving charm quarks. Using 298 /pb of e+ e- collisions recorded at a center of mass energy of 4.17 GeV, we determine absolute branching fractions for eight D_s decays with a double tag technique. In particular we determine the branching fraction B(D_s -> K- K+ pi+) = (5.50 +- 0.23 +- 0.16)%, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic respectively. We also provide partial branching fractions for kinematic subsets of the K- K+ pi+ decay mode.
Recent measurements of hadronic branching fractions of D and Ds mesons, performed by the BaBar and Belle experiments at the asymmetric e+e- B factories colliders PEP II and KEKB, are reviewed.
We present measurements of branching fraction, polarization and charge asymmetry in charmless hadronic B decays with eta, eta', omega, and b_1 in the final state. All the results use the final BABAR dataset.
We present preliminary measurements of the branching fractions for charmless hadronic decays of B mesons into two-body final states with kaons, pions and a phi resonance. The measurements are based on a data sample of approximately 23 million B-anti-B pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric B Factory at SLAC.
The CLEO-c experiment at the CESR e+ e- storage ring has collected data with E_cm = 3.77 GeV and E_cm ~ 4.17 GeV to study the decays of charmed mesons. This paper discusses results on the hadronic branching fractions of the D0, D+, and Ds+.
We report preliminary measurements of absolute hadronic branching fractions of Ds mesons determined using a double tag technique. These measurements are from 195 pb^{-1} of e+e- collisions recorded at center of mass energies near 4.17 GeV with the CLEO-c detector at CESR. We obtain absolute branching fractions for Ds+ decays to KS0 K+, K- K+ pi+, K- K+ pi+ pi-, pi+ pi+ pi-, pi+ eta, and pi+ etaprime. We discuss the problems inherent in measuring accurately the branching fraction for Ds+ to phi pi+, which is often used as a reference mode for measurement of other Ds+ branching fractions, and pr…
We present some recent results in hadronic decays and cross-section measurements at Psi(3770) from CLEO collaboration. They include measurement of absolute hadronic branching fractions of D mesons and e+e- to DDbar cross-sections, inclusive production of eta, eta', phi in D decays, branching fractions of D+ to K0_{S,L} pi+ and eta pi+, Psi(3770) non-DDbar decays, and timelike electromagnetic form factors of pion, kaon and proton. These results are based on 55.8 pb-1 and 281 pb-1 at Psi(3770), and other data samples collected by the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR).
Using e+e- collisions recorded at the psi(3770) resonance with the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we determine absolute hadronic branching fractions of charged and neutral D mesons. Among measurements for both Cabibbo-favored and Cabibbo-suppressed modes, we obtain reference branching fractions B(D0 -> K-pi+)=(3.91 +- 0.08 +- 0.09)% and B(D+ -> K-pi+pi+)=(9.5 +- 0.2 +- 0.3)%, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. Using a determination of the integrated luminosity, we also extract the e+e- -> DDbar cross sections.
The detection efficiency correction for the particle identification and kinematic fit selection criteria is investigated for the branching fraciton measurements in the psi(2S) decays into omega pi pi, b1 pi, omega f2(1270), omega K K, omega p pbar, phi pi pi, phi f0(980), phi K K and phi p pbar final states using 4 millions psi(2S) data sample coolected at BEPC/BES. Based on the corrected efficiencies, the preliminary results of these decay channels have been obtained, and the "12%" rule predicted by perturbative QCD theory tested.

We determine the inclusive B --> Xc l nu branching fraction, the CKM matrix element |Vcb|, and other heavy-quark parameters from a simultaneous fit to moments of the hadronic-mass and lepton-energy distributions in semileptonic B-meson decays, measured as a function of the lower limit on the lepton energy, using data recorded with the BABAR detector. Using Heavy Quark Expansions (HQEs) to order 1/mb^3, we extract BR_cenu=(10.61 +- 0.16(exp) +- 0.06(HQE))% and |Vcb| = (41.4 +- 0.4(exp) +- 0.4(HQE) +- 0.6(th)) 10^-3. The stated errors refer to the experimental, HQE, and additional theoretical un…
Using 55.8 pb^-1 of e^+e^- collisions recorded at the psi(3770) resonance with the CLEO-c detector at CESR, we determine absolute hadronic branching fractions of charged and neutral D mesons using a double tag technique. Final state radiation is included in these branching fractions by allowing for additional, unobserved, photons in the final …
With the first data sample collected by the CLEO-c detector at the psi(3770) resonance we have studied four exclusive semileptonic decays of the D0 meson. Our results include the first observation and absolute branching fraction measurement for D0 --> rho- e+ nu_e and improved measurements of the absolute branching fractions for D0 decays to K- e+ nu_e, pi- e+ nu_e, and K*- e+ nu_e.
The Ds+- -> K+-K-+pi+- absolute branching fraction is measured using e+e- -> Ds*+- Ds1-+(2536) events collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- asymmetric energy collider. Using the ratio of yields when either the Ds1 or Ds* is fully reconstructed, we find Br(Ds+- -> K+-K-+pi+-)= (4.0+-0.4(stat)+-0.4(sys))%.
Hadronic $B$ decays without a charm quark constitute a powerful probe to search for physics beyond the standard model as well as to provide constraints on $CP$ violation parameters. We report final measurements from Belle of the branching fractions and $CP$ asymmetries for the decays $B^{0} \rightarrow π^{0} π^{0}$ and $B^{\pm} \rightarrow K^{+} K^{-} π^{\pm}$. The $B^{0} \rightarrow π^{0} π^{0}$ measurements enable us to improve constraints on the angle $ϕ_{2}$ of the CKM unitarity triangle. For $B^{\pm} \rightarrow K^{+} K^{-} π^{\pm}$ we measure $CP$ asymmetry as a function of the invariant…
Using data collected at the psi(3770) resonance with the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell e+e- storage ring, we present improved measurements of the absolute branching fractions of D+ decays to K0B e+ nu_e, pi0 e+ nu_e, K0B* e+ nu_e, and rho0 e+ nu_e, and the first observation and absolute branching fraction measurement of D+ --> omega e+ nu_e. We also report the most precise tests to date of isospin invariance in semileptonic D0 and D+ decays.
We have studied hadronic four-body decays of $D^+$ and $D^+_s$ mesons with a $K_S$ in the final state using data recorded during the 1996-1997 fixed-target run at Fermilab high energy photoproduction experiment FOCUS. We report a new branching ratio measurement of $Γ(D^+\to K_S K^-π^+π^+)/Γ(D^+\to K_S π^+π^+π^-)=0.0768\pm0.0041\pm0.0032$. We make the first observation of three new decay modes with branching ratios $Γ(D^+\to K_S K^+π^+π^-)/Γ(D^+\to K_S π^+π^+π^-)=0.0562\pm0.0039\pm0.0040$, $Γ(D^+\to\K_S K^+ K^-π^+)/Γ(D^+\to K_S π^+π^+π^-)=0.0077\pm0.0015\pm0.0009$, and $Γ(D^+_s\to K_S K^+π^+π^-…
We measure the absolute branching fraction for D0 --> K- pi+ using partial reconstruction of B0bar --> D^{*+} X \ell^{-} \barν_{\ell} decays, in which only the charged lepton and the pion from the decay D^{*+} --> D0 pi^+ are used. Based on a data sample of 230 million B Bbar pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC, we obtain the absolute branching fractions of D0 --> K- pi+ = (4.007 \pm 0.037 \pm 0.072)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic.
From a sample of about 10^9 Phi mesons produced at DAFNE, we have selected KL mesons tagged by observing KS->pi+pi- decays. We present results on the major KL branching ratios, including those of the semileptonic decays needed for the determination of Vus. These branching ratio measurements are fully inclusive with respect to final-state radiation. The KL lifetime has also been measured.
The absolute branching ratio of the $K^+ \rightarrow π^+π^-π^+(γ)$ decay, inclusive of final-state radiation, has been measured using $\sim$17 million tagged $K^+$ mesons collected with the KLOE detector at DA$Φ$NE, the Frascati $ϕ$-factory. The result is: \[ BR(K^+ \rightarrow π^+π^-π^+(γ)) = 0.05565 \pm 0.00031_{stat} \pm 0.00025_{syst} \] a factor $\simeq$ 5 more precise with respect to the previous result. This work completes the program of precision measurements of the dominant kaon branching ratios at KLOE.
Based on a data sample of 60 pb$^{-1}$ collected at the $ψ(3770)$ resonance with the CLEO-c detector at CESR, we present improved measurements of absolute branching fractions for exclusive $D^0$ semileptonic decays into $K^-e^+ν$, $π^-e^+ν$ and $K^{*-}e^+ν$, and the first observation and measurement of $D^0 \to ρ^-e^+ν$. The determinations of the CKM matrix elements $V_{cs}$ and $V_{cd}$ are reviewed.
Using $2.93\,\rm fb^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data taken at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773\,GeV with the BESIII detector, we report the first measurements of the absolute branching fractions of fourteen hadronic $D^{0(+)}$ decays to exclusive final states with an $η$, e.g., $D^0\to K^-π^+η$, $K^0_Sπ^0η$, $K^+K^-η$, $K^0_SK^0_Sη$, $K^-π^+π^0η$, $K^0_Sπ^+π^-η$, $K^0_Sπ^0π^0η$, and $π^+π^-π^0η$; $D^+\to K^0_Sπ^+η$, $K^0_SK^+η$, $K^-π^+π^+η$, $K^0_Sπ^+π^0η$, $π^+π^+π^-η$, and $π^+π^0π^0η$. Among these decays, the $D^0\to K^-π^+η$ and $D^+\to K^0_Sπ^+η$ decays have the largest branching fractio…

The full LEP-1 data set collected with the ALEPH detector at the $Z$ pole during 1991-1995 is analysed in order to measure the $τ$ decay branching fractions. Extensive systematic studies are performed, in order to match the large statistics of the data sample corresponding to over 300 000 measured and identified $τ$ decays. Branching fractions are obtained for the two leptonic channels and eleven hadronic channels defined by their respective numbers of charged particles and $π^0$'s. Using previously published ALEPH results on final states with charged and neutral kaons, corrections are applied…
We have measured the fully inclusive K+ -> mu+nu(gamma) absolute branching ratio with the KLOE experiment at DAFNE, the Frascati Phi-factory. From some 865,283 K+ -> mu+nu(gamma) decays obtained from a sample of about 5.2x10^8 Phi-meson decays, we find BR(K+ -> mu+ nu (gamma)) = 0.6366 +-0.0009(stat.) +-0.0015(syst.), corresponding to an overall fractional error of 0.27%. Using recent lattice results on the decay constants of pseudoscalar mesons one can obtain an estimate for the CKM mixing matrix element |Vus|=0.2223+-0.0026.
We present results from BABAR experiment for the measurement of inclusive and exclusive branching fractions of B mesons into final states containing $J/ψ$, $ψ(2S)$ and $χ_c$. The contributions of CP even and odd amplitudes in the decay $B^0 \to J/ψK^{*0}$ are determined from an angular analysis. We report the measurements of the branching ratios $B^0 \to D^{*+}D^{*-}$ and $D^{*+}D^{*-}K^0_S$, and the study of exclusive two-body and quasi-two-body charmless decays. The branching fraction of the decay $B^0 \to K^{*0} γ$ has been determined and the corresponding CP asymmetry has been measured.
By analyzing about 33 $\rm pb^{-1}$ data sample collected at and around 3.773 GeV with the BES-II detector at the BEPC collider, we directly measure the branching fractions for the neutral and charged $D$ inclusive semimuonic decays to be $BF(D^0 \to μ^+ X) =(6.8\pm 1.5\pm 0.7)%$ and $BF(D^+ \to μ^+ X) =(17.6 \pm 2.7 \pm 1.8)%$, and determine the ratio of the two branching fractions to be $\frac{BF(D^+ \to μ^+ X)}{BF(D^0 \to μ^+ X)}=2.59\pm 0.70 \pm 0.25$.
We measure the absolute branching fraction for $D0 \to K^{-} π^{+}$ using partial reconstruction of $B0bar \to D^{*+} X \ell^{-} \barν_{\ell}$ decays. Only the charged lepton and the soft pion from the decay $D^{*+} \to D^{0} π^{+}$ are used. Based on a data sample of 230 million BBbar pairs collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the \babar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy $B$ Factory at SLAC, we obtain ${\cal B}(\Dz \to \Km \pip) = (4.025 \pm 0.038 \pm 0.098)%$, where the first error is statistical and the second error is systematic.
We study the two-body decays of B^\pm mesons to K^\pm and a charmonium state, X_{c\bar c}, in a sample of 210.5 fb^{-1} of data from the BaBar experiment. We perform measurements of absolute branching fractions BR(B^\pm --> K^\pm X_{c\bar c}) using a missing mass technique, and report several new or improved results. In particular, the upper limit BR(B^\pm --> K^\pm X(3872))<3.2 10^-4 at 90% CL and the inferred lower limit BR(X(3872) --> J/ψπ^+π^-)>4.2% will help in understanding the nature of the recently discovered X(3872).
I review recent measurements of the branching fractions of hadronic D^0, D^+, and D_s decays and Dalitz analyses of these and other hadronic D decay modes.
The absolute branching fraction for the decay $D^+ \to {\bar K}^0μ^+ν_μ$ is determined using $5321 \pm 149 \pm160$ singly tagged $D^-$ sample from the data collected around 3.773 GeV with the BESII detector at the BEPC collider. In the system recoiling against the singly tagged $D^-$ mesons, $28.7 \pm 6.4$ events for $D^+ \to {\bar K}^0μ^+ν_μ$ are observed. These yield the absolute branching fraction to be $BF(D^+ \to {\bar K}^0μ^+ν_μ) = (10.3\pm2.3\pm0.8)%$. The ratio of the two partial widths for the decays $D^0 \to K^-μ^+ν_μ$ and $D^+ \to {\bar K}^0μ^+ν_μ$ is determined to be $Γ(D^0 \to K^-…
Based on a data sample of 81.7 fb^-1 collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC, we present the current status of the measurement of the branching fraction of Upsilon(4S) to B0bar B^0. Our study of the decay was performed through the exclusive decays B0bar to D^{*+} \ell^{-} barν_{\ell} using a partial reconstruction method, where the D^{*+} is detected only through the soft pion daughter from the decay D^{*+} to D^{0} pi^{+}.
It is proposed to exploit the decay of the meson ${B}^+ \rightarrow p π^+ π^+ \barΣ_c^{--}$ and of its charge conjugate $B^-$ copiously produced at LHC to obtain a sample of $Λ_c$ baryons through the strong decay $Σ_c \rightarrow Λ_c π$. The sample thus obtained is not affected by biases typically introduced by selections that depend on specific decay modes. Therefore it allows a measurement of the absolute branching fraction for the decay of the $Λ_c$ baryon into $ p K π$ or into other observable final states to be performed in a model independent manner. The accuracy that can be achieved wit…
Using a sample of over 600 million phi->K+K- decays collected at the Dafne e+e- collider, we have measured with the KLOE detector the absolute branching ratios for the charged kaon semileptonic decays, K+/- -> p0 e nu (gamma) (Ke3) and K+/- -> p0 mu nu (gamma) (Kmu3). The results, BR(Ke3) = 0.04965 +/- 0.00038_{stat} +/- 0.00037_{syst} and BR(Kmu3) = 0.03233 +/- 0.00029_{stat} +/- 0.00026_{syst}, are inclusive of radiation. Accounting for correlations, we derive the ratio Kmu3/Ke3 = 0.6511+/-0.0064. Using the semileptonic form factors measured in the same experiment, we obtain V_{us}f_{+}(0) =…
We have used the PIBETA detector at the PSI for a precise measurement of rare pion and muon weak decays. We have collected a large statistical sample of (1) pi+ -> e+ nu, (2) pi+ -> pi0 e+ nu, (3) pi+ -> e+ nu gamma, (4) mu+ -> e+ nu nu, and (5) mu+ -> e+ nu nu gamma decays. We have evaluated the absolute branching ratios for these processes by normalizing to the independently measured number of decaying pi+'s (or mu+'s). We discuss the mutual consistency of the preliminary results.
A sample of more than one million Ke4 decay candidates with less than one percent background contamination has been collected by the NA48/2 experiment at the CERN SPS in 2003-2004, allowing a detailed study of the decay properties. The branching ratio, inclusive of radiative Ke4gamma decays, is measured to be BR(Ke4) = (4.257 +/- 0.016_exp +/- 0.031_ext) x 10-5 with a total relative error of 0.8%. This measurement complements the study of S- and P-wave hadronic form factors by assigning absolute values to the relative hadronic form factors obtained earlier in a simultaneous analysis of the pio…
Using a 282 1/fb data sample collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB e+e- collider, we study D0 decays to K-l+nu and pi-l+nu final states. The D0 flavor and momentum are tagged through a full reconstruction of the recoiling charm meson and additional mesons from fragmentation. The reconstruction method provides very good resolution in neutrino momentum and in q^2 = (p_l+p_nu)^2. Normalizing to the total number of D0 tags, we measure the absolute branching fractions to be B(D0 -> Klnu) =(3.45 +- 0.07stat +- 0.20syst)% and B(D0 -> pilnu) = (0.255 +- 0.019stat +- 0.016syst)% and the semi-le…
We present branching fraction measurements of charged and neutral B decays to Dpi-, D*pi- and D**pi- with a missing mass method, based on a sample of 231 million Y(4S)-->BBar pairs collected by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II e+e- collider. One of the B mesons is fully reconstructed and the other one decays to a reconstructed charged pion and a companion charmed meson identified by its recoil mass, inferred by kinematics. Here D** refers to the sum of all the non-strange charm meson states with masses in the range 2.2-2.8 Gev/c2.
We have studied the leptonic decay D^+_s to tau^+ nu_tau, via the decay channel tau^+ to e^+ nu_e anti-nu_tau, using a sample of tagged D_s^+ decays collected near the D^*_s D_s peak production energy in e^+ e^- collisions with the CLEO-c detector. We obtain B(D^+_s to tau^+ nu_tau) = (5.30 +- 0.47 +- 0.22) % and determine the decay constant f_Ds = (252.5 +- 11.1 +- 5.2) MeV, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.
We present measurements of the inclusive branching fractions for the decays D^+ -> X e^+ nu_e and D^0 -> X e^+ nu_e, using 281 pb^-1 of data collected on the psi(3770) resonance with the CLEO-c detector. We find Br(D^0 ->Xe^+ν_e) = (6.46 \pm 0.17 \pm 0.13)% and Br((D^+ -> Xe^+nu_e) = (16.13 \pm 0.20 \pm 0.33)%. Using the known D meson lifetimes, we obtain the ratio Gamma{D^+}^sl/Gamma_{D^0}^sl= 0.985\pm 0.028\pm 0.015, confirming isospin invariance at the level of 3%. The positron momentum spectra from D^+ and D^0 have consistent shapes.
In a sample of 58 million $J/ψ$ events collected with the BES II detector, the process J/$ψ\toγη_c$ is observed in five decay channels: $η_c \to K^+K^-π^+π^-$, $π^+π^-π^+π^-$, $K^\pm K^0_S π^\mp$ (with $K^0_S\toπ^+π^-$), $ϕϕ$ (with $ϕ\to K^+K^-$) and $p\bar{p}$. From these signals, we determine $Br(J/ψ\toγη_c)\times Br(η_c\to K^+K^-π^+π^-)$ $=(1.5\pm0.2\pm0.2)\times10^{-4}$, $Br(J/ψ\toγη_c)\times Br(η_c\to π^+π^-π^+π^-)$ $=(1.3\pm0.2\pm0.4)\times10^{-4}$, $Br(J/ψ\toγη_c)\times Br(η_c\to K^\pm K_{S}^{0}π^\mp)$ $=(2.2\pm0.3\pm0.5)\times10^{-4}$, $Br(J/ψ\toγη_c)\times Br(η_c\to ϕϕ)$ $=(3.3\pm0.6\…
Results on semi-hadronic decays of the $τ$ lepton are presented, from studies of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data obtained at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring with the CLEO-II detector. Branching fractions have been measured for decays to two, three and four hadrons, namely $τ^-\!\!\rightarrow\! ν_τh^-π^0$, $τ^-\!\!\rightarrow\! ν_τh^-h^+h^-$, and $τ^-\!\!\rightarrow\! ν_τh^-h^+h^-π^0$, where $h^\pm$ represents a charged pion or kaon. CLEO-II has also observed decays with charged and/or neutral kaons; preliminary results for branching ratios and structure arising from the decay dynamics are given. …

Using 9.7 million BBbar pairs collected with the CLEO detector, we report first observation of B^- --> Pi^-Rho^0, B^0 --> Pi^+-Rho^-+ and B^- --> Pi^-Omega, which are expected to be dominated by hadronic b --> u transitions. The measured branching fractions are (10.4+3.3-3.4+-2.1)x10^-6, (27.6+8.4-7.4+-4.2)x10^-6 and (11.3+3.3-2.9+-1.4)x10^-6, respectively. Branching fraction upper limits are set for all the other decay modes investigated.

We also determine the ratio B(D^0 --> K^+ K^-)/B(D^0 --> pi^+ pi^-) = 2.89 +- 0.05 +- 0.06. For each measurement, the fi…
We report measurements of branching fractions for psi(2S) decays into omega pi pi, b1 pi,omega f2(1270),omega KK, omega p pbar, phi pi pi, phi f0(980),phi KK, and an upper limit for phi p pbar final states based on a data sample of 4 X 10^6 psi(2S) events collected with the BESI detector at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider. The branching fractions for b1 pi and omega f2(1270) update previous BES results, while those for other decay modes are first measurements. The ratios of psi(2S)and J/psi branching fractions are smaller than what is expected from the 12% rule by a factor of five for o…
We have studied charmless hadronic decays of B mesons into two-body final states with kaons and pions. We present preliminary results based on 9.66 million $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected with the CLEO detector. We have made the first observation of the decay $B \to π^+π^-$, with the branching fraction of $Br(B \to π^+ π^-) = (4.7^{+1.8}_{-1.5} \pm 0.6) \times 10^{-6}$. We have also observed for the first time the decay $B \to K^0π^0$ with the branching fraction of $Br(B \to K^0 π^0) = (14.8^{+5.9+2.4}_{-5.1-3.3}) \times 10^{-6}$, thus completing the set of four $Kπ$ branching fraction measurements…
The absolute branching fractions for the decays $D^-_s\!\rightarrow\!\ell^-\barν_{\ell}$ ($\ell=e$, $μ$, or $τ$) are measured using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 521 fb$^{-1}$ collected at center of mass energies near 10.58 GeV with the \mbox{\slshape B\kern-0.1em{\smaller A}\kern-0.1em B\kern-0.1em{\smaller A\kern-0.2em R}} detector at the PEP-II $e^+e^-$ collider at SLAC. The number of $D^-_s$ mesons is determined by reconstructing the recoiling system $DKXγ$ in events of the type $e^+e^-{\rightarrow}DKXD^{*-}_s$, where $D^{*-}_s\rightarrow D^-_sγ$ and $X$ repres…

The studies are based on large samples of BBbar pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) or B_s(*)B_s(*) pairs collected at the Upsilon(5S) by the BaBar and Belle detectors at the asymmetric energy e+e- colliders at SLAC and KEK-B, respectively. This paper includes the following results: measurements of branching fractions and charge asymmetries of B meson decays to eta' rho, eta' f0, and eta' K*, where the K* stands for a vector, tensor, or scalar stra…
Using data taken with the CLEO III detector, 1.09 fb-1 at Upsilon(1S), and 1.28 fb-1 at Upsilon(2S), branching fractions have been measured for the first time for exclusive decays of each resonance into one hundred different final states consisting of 4 to 10 light hadrons, pions, kaons, and protons. Significant strength is found in 73 decay modes of Upsilon(1S) and 17 decay modes of Upsilon(2S), with branching fractions ranging from 0.3x10^-5 to 110x10^-5. Upper limits at 90% confidence level are presented for the other decay modes.
This paper focuses on disagreement between theoretical predictions and experimental results of the production properties of Bc meson. Hadronic decays of Bc are used to separate predictions of production cross section and predictions of branching ratio. The branching ratios of Bc decays to J/psi + πand to J/psi + 3πare also presented.
We report recent measurements of branching fractions and charge asymmetries of charmless hadronic B decays using the data collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric energy e+e- collider.
The production rates of the orbitally excited Ds** mesons, Ds1 and Ds2*, are measured with the 4.1 million hadronic Z decays recorded by the ALEPH detector during 1991--1995. The Ds** mesons are reconstructed in the decay modes Ds1+ -> D*+ K0, Ds1+ -> D*0 K+ and Ds2*+ -> D0 K+. The production rate of the Ds1 is measured to be n(Z->Ds1+-)=(0.52+-0.09+-0.06)%, under the assumption that the two considered decay modes of the Ds1 saturate the branching ratio. The production rate of the Ds2* is determined to be n(Z->Ds2*+-)=(0.83+-0.29+0.07-0.13)%, assuming that the branching fraction of the decay D…
