We investigate the effects of possible decay of neutrinos from a neutrino factory in a long baseline experiment. We consider the neutrinos from a factory at CERN and the detector to be the 50 kTon iron calorimeter (ICAL) detector proposed for India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO). We found considerable depletion of muon yield at INO for certain value of decay parameters.
We present the first detailed simulation study of tau neutrino-induced charged current (CC) events from atmospheric neutrino interactions in the Iron Calorimeter (ICAL) detector at the proposed India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) laboratory. Since the intrinsic atmospheric neutrino flux at few to 10s of GeV energy comprises only electron and muon neutrinos (and anti-neutrinos) with negligible tau neutrino component, any signature of atmospheric tau neutrinos is a signal for neutrino oscillations. We study the tau leptons produced through these CC interactions via their hadronic decay. These…
The India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) will host a 50 kt magnetized iron calorimeter (ICAL) detector that will be able to detect muon tracks and hadron showers produced by Charged-Current muon neutrino interactions in the detector. The ICAL experiment will be able to determine the precision of atmospheric neutrino mixing parameters and neutrino mass hierarchy using atmospheric muon neutrinos through earth matter effect. In this paper, we report on the sensitivity for the atmospheric neutrino mixing parameters ($\sin^{2}θ_{23}$ and $|Δm^{2}_{32}|$) for the ICAL detector using the reconstruc…
Non-standard neutrino interactions (NSI) involved in neutrino propagation inside Earth matter could potentially alter atmospheric neutrino fluxes. In this work, we look at the impact of these NSI on the signal at the ICAL detector to be built at the India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO). We show how the sensitivity to the neutrino mass hierarchy of ICAL changes in the presence of NSI. The mass hierarchy sensitivity is shown to be rather sensitive to the NSI parameters $ε_{eμ}$ and $ε_{eτ}$, while the dependence on $ε_{μτ}$ and $ε_{ττ}$ is seen to be very mild, once the $χ^2$ is marginalised o…
The Iron Calorimeter (ICAL) detector at the proposed India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) aims to detect atmospheric neutrinos and antineutrinos separately in the multi-GeV range of energies and over a wide range of baselines. By utilizing its charge identification capability, ICAL can efficiently distinguish $μ^-$ and $μ^+$ events. Atmospheric neutrinos passing long distances through Earth can be detected at ICAL with good resolution in energy and direction, which enables ICAL to see the density-dependent matter oscillations experienced by upward-going neutrinos in the multi-GeV range of en…
In this paper we study the synergy among the future accelerator (T2HK), future atmospheric (ICAL) and future reactor (JUNO) neutrino experiments to determine the neutrino mass ordering. T2HK can measure the mass ordering only for favorable values of $δ_{\rm CP}$, whereas the mass ordering sensitivity of JUNO is dependent on the energy resolution. Our results show that with a combination of T2HK, ICAL and JUNO one can have a mass ordering sensitivity of 7.2 $σ$ even for the unfavorable value of $δ_{\rm CP} = 0^\circ$ for T2HK and most conservative value of JUNO energy resolution of 5$\%/\sqrt{E…
We study the capability of INO-ICAL to determine the atmospheric neutrino oscillation parameters $|Δm^2_{31}|$ and $\sin^2 θ_{23}$. We do not use any generator level information. Instead, we process the generated atmospheric neutrino events through GEANT4 simulation of the detector and the event reconstruction framework. Among the outputs of this framework, only the momentum and direction of the longest track were used in a previous study by other authors. In this study, in addition to these variables, we consider a third variable based on additional hits, which arise due to hadrons in the eve…
We perform a detailed analysis for the prospects of detecting active-sterile oscillations involving a light sterile neutrino, over a large $Δm^2_{41}$ range of $10^{-5}$ eV$^2$ to $10^2$ eV$^2$, using 10 years of atmospheric neutrino data expected from the proposed 50 kt magnetized ICAL detector at the INO. This detector can observe the atmospheric $ν_μ$ and $\barν_μ$ separately over a wide range of energies and baselines, making it sensitive to the magnitude and sign of $Δm^2_{41}$ over a large range. If there is no light sterile neutrino, ICAL can place competitive upper limit on $|U_{μ4}|^2…
Impact of errors in the magnetic field measurement on the precision determination of neutrino oscillation parameters at the proposed ICAL detector at INO
The magnetised Iron Calorimeter detector at the India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) has a unique feature to identify the neutrinos and antineutrinos on an event by event basis. This feature can be harnessed to detect the differences between the oscillation parameters of neutrinos and antineutrinos independently. In this paper, we analysed Charged Current $ν_μ$ and $\overlineν_μ$ events under the influence of earth matter effect using three neutrino flavor oscillation framework. If the atmospheric mass-squared differences and mixing parameters for neutrinos are different from antineutrinos, …
At present the three major unknowns in neutrino oscillation parameters are the mass hierarchy, the octant of $θ_{23}$ and the CP phase $δ_{CP}$. It is well known that the presence of hierarchy$-δ_{CP}$ and octant degeneracies affects the unambiguous determination of these parameters. In this paper we show that a comprehensive way to study the remaining parameter degeneracies is in the form of a generalized hierarchy-$θ_{23}$ - $δ_{CP}$ degeneracy. We show that the wrong-hierarchy and/or wrong-octant solutions can be further classified into eight different solutions depending on whether they oc…
The India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) is a proposed underground facility located in India that will primarily house the magnetised Iron CALorimeter (ICAL) detector to study atmospheric neutrinos produced by interactions of cosmic rays with Earth's atmosphere. The physics goal is to to make precision measurements of the neutrino mixing and oscillation parameters through such a study. We present here the results from detailed simulations studies, as well as a status report on the project. In particular, we highlight the sensitivity of ICAL to the open issue of the neutrino mass ordering, wh…
Atmospheric neutrino experiments can determine the neutrino mass hierarchy for any value of $δ_{CP}$. The Iron Calorimeter (ICAL) detector at the India-based Neutrino Observatory can distinguish between the charged current interactions of $ν_μ$ and $\barν_μ$ by determining the charge of the produced muon. Hence it is particularly well suited to determine the hierarchy. The hierarchy signature is more prominent in neutrinos with energy of a few GeV and with pathlength of a few thousand kilometers, $\textit{i.e.}$ neutrinos whose direction is not close to horizontal. We use adaptive neural netwo…
Sensitivity of the magnetised Iron CALorimeter (ICAL) detector at the proposed India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) to invisible decay of the mass eigenstate $ν_3$ using atmospheric neutrinos is explored. A full three-generation analysis including earth matter effects is performed in a framework with both decay and oscillations. The wide energy range and baselines offered by atmospheric neutrinos are shown to be excellent for constraining the $ν_3$ lifetime. We find that with an exposure of 500 kton-yr the ICAL atmospheric experiment could constrain the $ν_3$ lifetime to $τ_3/m_3>1.51\times1…
We study the sensitivity of the Iron Calorimeter (ICAL) at the India-Based Neutrino Observatory (INO) to Lorentz and CPT violation in the neutrino sector. Its ability to identify the charge of muons in addition to their direction and energy makes ICAL a useful tool in putting constraints on these fundamental symmetries. Using resolution, efficiencies, errors and uncertainties obtained from ICAL detector simulations, we determine sensitivities to $δ{b}_{31}$, which parametizes the violations in the muon neutrino sector. We carry out calculations for three generic cases representing mixing in th…
The possibility of Lorentz Invariance Violation (LIV) may appear in unified theories, such as string theory, which allow the existence of a new space-time structure at the Planck scale ($M_p \sim 10^{19}$ GeV). This effect can be observed at low energies with a strength of $\sim 1/M_p$ using the perturbative approach. In the minimal Standard Model extension (SME) framework, the neutrino mass-induced flavor oscillation gets modified in the presence of LIV. The Iron Calorimeter (ICAL) detector at the proposed India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) offers a unique window to probe these LIV parame…
The study has been carried out on the prospects of probing the sterile neutrino mixing with the magnetized Iron CALorimeter (ICAL) at the India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO), using atmospheric neutrinos as a source. The so-called 3~$+$~1 scenario is considered for active-sterile neutrino mixing and lead to projected exclusion curves in the sterile neutrino mass and mixing angle plane. The analysis is performed using the neutrino event generator NUANCE, modified for ICAL, and folded with the detector resolutions obtained by the INO collaboration from a full GEANT4 based detector simulation. …
The proposed 50 kt Iron Calorimeter (ICAL) detector at the India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) aims to detect atmospheric muon neutrinos and antineutrinos separately in the multi-GeV range of energies and over a wide range of path lengths. While passing through the Earth, the upward-going neutrinos experience a density-dependent matter effect, which can be utilized to extract information about the internal structure of Earth. Since the Earth's matter effect modifies the neutrino oscillation patterns differently for neutrinos and antineutrinos, the capability of ICAL to distinguish $μ^-$ and…
We have studied the dependence of the allowed space of the atmospheric neutrino oscillation parameters on the time of exposure for a magnetized Iron CALorimeter (ICAL) detector at the India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO). We have performed a Monte Carlo simulation for a 50 kTon ICAL detector generating events by the neutrino generator NUANCE and simulating the detector response by GEANT. A chi-square analysis for the ratio of the up-going and down-going neutrinos as a function of $L/E$ is performed and the allowed regions at 90% and 99% CL are displayed. These results are found to be better …
Studies on Response Uniformity of RPC and Exploring Oscillation Dip and Valley, Non-Standard Interactions, and Earth's Core using Atmospheric Neutrinos at ICAL-INO detector
We study the prospects of detecting muon events at the upcoming Iron CALorimeter (ICAL) detector to be built at the proposed India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) facility due to neutrinos arising out of annihilation of Weakly Interactive Massive Particles (WIMP) in the centre of the earth. The atmospheric neutrinos coming from the direction of earth core presents an irreducible background. We consider 50kt $\times$ 10 years of ICAL running and WIMP masses between 10-100 GeV and present 90 \% C.L. exclusion sensitivity limits on $σ_{SI}$ which is the WIMP-nucleon Spin Independent (SI) interac…
We study dependence of the atmospheric $ν_μ$ and $\barν_μ$ fluxes on the deviations of the 2-3 mixing from maximal, $|45^\circ - θ_{23}|$, on the $θ_{23}$-octant and on the neutrino mass splitting $Δm_{32}^2$. Analytic expressions for the $θ_{23}-$deviation effect and the octant asymmetry are derived. We present conservative estimations of sensitivities of the iron (magnetized) calorimeter detectors (ICAL) to these parameters. ICAL can establish the $θ_{23}$-deviation at higher than 3$σ$ confidence level if $| 45^\circ - θ_{23}| > 6^{\circ}$ with the exposure of 1 Mton$\cdot$yr. Sensitivity to…
The proposed ICAL experiment at INO aims to identify the neutrino mass hierarchy from observations of atmospheric neutrinos, and help improve the precision on the atmospheric neutrino mixing parameters. While the design of ICAL is primarily optimized to measure muon momentum, it is also capable of measuring the hadron energy in each event. Although the hadron energy is measured with relatively lower resolution, it nevertheless contains crucial information on the event, which may be extracted when taken concomitant with the muon data. We demonstrate that by adding the hadron energy information …
The proposed ICAL detector at INO is a large sized underground magnetized iron detector. ICAL is designed to reconstruct muon momentum using magnetic spectrometers. Energy measurement using magnets fail for muons in TeV range, since the angular deflection of the muon in the magnetic field is negligible and the muon tracks become nearly straight. A new technique for measuring the energy of muons in the TeV range is used by the CCFR neutrino detector, known as the Pair-Meter technique. This technique estimates muon energy from measurements of the energy deposited by the muon in many layers of an…
We study the neutrino mass hierarchy at the magnetized Iron CALorimeter (ICAL) detector at India-based Neutrino Observatory with atmospheric neutrino events generated by the Monte Carlo event generator Nuance. We judicially choose the observables so that the possible systematic uncertainties can be reduced. The resolution as a function of both energy and zenith angle simultaneously is obtained for neutrinos and anti-neutrinos separately from thousand years un-oscillated atmospheric neutrino events at ICAL to migrate number of events from neutrino energy and zenith angle bins to muon energy and…
Among the combinations $L_e-L_μ$, $L_e-L_τ$ and $L_μ-L_τ$ any one can be gauged in anomaly free way with the standard model gauge group. The masses of these gauge bosons can be so light that it can induce long-range forces on the Earth due to the electrons in the Sun. This type of forces can be constrained significantly from neutrino oscillation. As the sign of the potential is opposite for neutrinos and antineutrinos, a magnetized iron calorimeter detector (ICAL) would be able to produce strong constraint on it. We have made conservative studies of these long-range forces with atmospheric neu…
The relatively large measured value of $θ_{13}$ has opened up the possibility of determining the neutrino mass hierarchy through earth matter effects. Amongst the current accelerator-based experiments only NOvA has a long enough baseline to observe earth matter effects. However, NOvA is plagued with uncertainty on the knowledge of the true value of $δ_{CP}$, and this could drastically reduce its sensitivity to the neutrino mass hierarchy. The earth matter effect on atmospheric neutrinos on the other hand is almost independent of $δ_{CP}$. The 50 kton magnetized Iron CALorimeter at the India-ba…
The upcoming 50 kt magnetized iron calorimeter (ICAL) detector at the India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) is designed to study the atmospheric neutrinos and antineutrinos separately over a wide range of energies and path lengths. The primary focus of this experiment is to explore the Earth matter effects by observing the energy and zenith angle dependence of the atmospheric neutrinos in the multi-GeV range. This study will be crucial to address some of the outstanding issues in neutrino oscillation physics, including the fundamental issue of neutrino mass hierarchy. In this document, we pre…
The proposed Iron Calorimeter (ICAL) detector at Indian Neutrino Observatory(INO) will be a large (50 kt) magnetized detector located 1270 m underground at Bodi West Hills in Tamilnadu. ICAL is capable of identifying the charge of the particles. In this paper its potential for the measurement of the muon charge ratio is explored by means of a detailed simulation-based study, first using the CORSIKA code and then comparing it with an analytical model (the "pika" model). The estimated muon charge ratio is in agreement with the existing experimental observations, its measure can be extended by IN…
We determine the sensitivity to neutrino oscillation parameters from a study of atmospheric neutrinos in a magnetised detector such as the ICAL at the proposed India-based Neutrino Observatory. In such a detector that can {\em separately} count $ν_μ$ and $\overlineν_μ$-induced events, the relatively smaller (about 5\%) uncertainties on the neutrino--anti-neutrino flux ratios translate to a constraint in the $χ^2$ analysis that results in a significant improvement in the precision with which neutrino oscillation parameters such as $\sin^2θ_{23}$ can be determined. Such an effect is unique to al…
The neutral current non-standard interactions (NSI's) of neutrino with matter fermions while propagating through long distances inside the Earth matter can give rise to the extra matter potentials apart from the standard MSW potential due to the $W$-mediated interactions in matter. In this paper, we explore the impact of flavor violating neutral current NSI parameter $\varepsilon_{μτ}$ in the oscillation of atmospheric neutrino and antineutrino using the 50 kt magnetized ICAL detector at INO. We find that due to non-zero $\varepsilon_{μτ}$, $ν_μ\rightarrowν_μ$ and $\barν_μ\rightarrow\barν_μ$ t…
The down-going atmospheric ν_μ and {\bar{ν_μ}} fluxes can be significantly altered due to the presence of eV^2-scale active-sterile oscillations. We study the sensitivity of a large Liquid Argon detector and a large magnetized iron detector (like the proposed ICAL at INO) to these oscillations. Such oscillations are indicated by results from LSND, and more recently, from MiniBooNE and from reanalyses of reactor experiments following recent recalculations of reactor fluxes. There are other tentative indications of the presence of sterile states in both the νand {\barν} sectors as well. Using th…
We discuss a comprehensive way to study the parameter degeneracies in the form of a generalized degeneracy in the neutrino oscillation experiments. First we describe the various degeneracies by considering only neutrino run of the long baseline experiment (LBL), NO$ ν$A. Then we discuss the role of antineutrinos. Later, we present the combined role of T2K (LBL experiment) and ICAL@INO (atmospheric experiment) to resolve these degeneracies. We also discuss the affect of new physics like non-standards interactions (NSI) on the determination of neutrino mass hierarchy in DUNE.
Atmospheric neutrinos travel very long distances through earth matter. It is expected that the matter effects lead to significant changes in the neutrino survival and oscillation probabilities. Initial analysis of atmospheric neutrino data by the Super- Kamiokande collaboration is done using the vacuum oscillation hypothesis, which provided a good fit to the data. In this work, we did a study to differentiate the effects of vacuum oscillations and matter modified oscillations in the atmospheric neutrino data. We find that magnetized iron detector, ICAL at INO, can make a 3 sigma discrimination…
Atmospheric neutrino experiments can show the "oscillation dip" feature in data, due to their sensitivity over a large $L/E$ range. In experiments that can distinguish between neutrinos and antineutrinos, like INO, oscillation dips can be observed in both these channels separately. We present the dip-identification algorithm employing a data-driven approach -- one that uses the asymmetry in the upward-going and downward-going events, binned in the reconstructed $L/E$ of muons -- to demonstrate the dip, which would confirm the oscillation hypothesis. We further propose, for the first time, the …
The main aim of the ESS$ν$SB proposal is the discovery of the leptonic CP phase $δ_{CP}$ with a high significance ($5σ$ for 50% values of $δ_{CP}$) by utilizing the physics at the second oscillation maxima of the $P_{μe}$ channel. It can achieve $3σ$ sensitivity to hierarchy for all values of $δ_{CP}$. In this work, we concentrate on the hierarchy and octant sensitivity of the ESS$ν$SB experiment. We show that combining the ESS$ν$SB experiment with the atmospheric neutrino data from the proposed India-based Neutrino Observatory(INO) experiment can result in an increased sensitivity to mass hie…
Texture six zero Fritzsch like as well as non Fritzsch like hermitian lepton mass matrices (144 combinations in all) have been investigated for both Majorana and Dirac neutrinos for their compatibility with the current neutrino oscillation data, keeping in mind the hierarchy of neutrino masses. All the combinations considered here for Majorana neutrino masses are ruled out by the existing data in the case of inverted hierarchy and degenerate scenario. For Majorana neutrinos with normal hierarchy, only 16 combinations can accommodate the experimental data. Assuming neutrinos to be Dirac particl…
We propose a new approach to probe neutral-current non-standard neutrino interaction parameter $\varepsilon_{μτ}$ using the oscillation dip and oscillation valley. Using the simulated ratio of upward-going and downward-going reconstructed muon events at the upcoming ICAL detector, we demonstrate that the presence of non-zero $\varepsilon_{μτ}$ would result in the shift in the dip location as well as the bending of the oscillation valley. Thanks to the charge identification capability of ICAL, the opposite shifts in the locations of oscillation dips as well as the contrast in the curvatures of …
The India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) will host a 50 kt magnetized iron calorimeter (ICAL@INO) for the study of atmospheric neutrinos. Using the detector resolutions and efficiencies obtained by the INO collaboration from a full-detector GEANT4-based simulation, we determine the reach of this experiment for the measurement of the atmospheric neutrino mixing parameters ($\sin^2 θ_{23}$ and $|Δm_{32}^2 |$). We also explore the sensitivity of this experiment to the deviation of $θ_{23}$ from maximal mixing, and its octant.
The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) is a proposed next generation superbeam experiment at Fermilab. Its aims include measuring the unknown neutrino oscillation parameters -- the neutrino mass hierarchy, the octant of the mixing angle $θ_{23}$ and the CP violating phase $δ_{CP}$. The current and upcoming experiments T2K, NOvA and ICAL@INO will also be collecting data for the same measurements. In this paper, we explore the sensitivity reach of DUNE in combination with these other experiments. We evaluate the least exposure required by DUNE to determine the above three unknown parame…
We examine the reach of a Beta-beam experiment with two detectors at carefully chosen baselines for exploring neutrino mass parameters. Locating the source at CERN, the two detectors and baselines are: (a) a 50 kton iron calorimeter (ICAL) at a baseline of around 7150 km which is roughly the magic baseline, e.g., ICAL@INO, and (b) a 50 kton Totally Active Scintillator Detector at a distance of 730 km, e.g., at Gran Sasso. We choose 8B/8Li source ions with a boost factor γof 650 for the magic baseline while for the closer detector we consider 18Ne/6He ions with a range of Lorentz boosts. We fin…
We study the probing prospects of cosmic ray boosted dark matter (DM) in the framework of simplified electron-philic dark photon model. Focusing on the dark matter and dark photon masses around keV $\sim $ MeV scale, we consider the bounds obtained from the XENON1T and Super-K experiments. The electron bound state effects are treated carefully in calculating the XENON1T constraint. As for the detection at neutrino detector where the energy threshold is relatively higher, the large logarithmic effects induced by the scale hierarchy between the masses and momentum transfer are considered by intr…
There are compelling evidences for the existence of a fourth degree of freedom of neutrinos i.e. sterile neutrino. In the recent studies the role of sterile component of neutrinos has been found to be crucial, not only in particle physics, but also in astrophysics and cosmology. This has been proposed to be one of the potential candidates of dark matter. In this work we investigate the updated solar neutrino data available from all the relevant experiments including Borexino and KamLAND solar phase in a model independent way, and obtain bounds on the sterile neutrino component present in the s…
The annihilation of Weakly Interactive Massive Particles (WIMP) in the centre of the sun could give rise to neutrino fluxes. We study the prospects of searching for these neutrinos at the upcoming Iron CALorimeter (ICAL) detector to be housed at the India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO). We perform ICAL simulations to obtain the detector efficiencies and resolutions in order to simulate muon events in ICAL due to neutrinos coming from annihilation of WIMP in the mass range $m_χ= (3-100)$ GeV. The atmospheric neutrinos pose a major background for these indirect detection studies and can be red…
The main aim of the T2K experiment in Japan is to discover CP violation in the leptonic sector by measuring the Dirac phase $δ_{CP}$. For that purpose T2K has already started collecting data in both neutrino and antineutrino mode. But in this work we will show that, in T2K the main role of the antineutrinos is to resolve the octant degeneracy. If the octant is known then the pure neutrino run of T2K is capable to give the maximum CP sensitivity. On the other hand in the experiment like NO$ν$A, antineutrinos are still useful even when octant is known. Thus we propose that let T2K run in the dom…
We present a detailed analysis of the neutrino-induced muon signals coming from neutralino pair-annihilations inside the Sun and the Earth with particular emphasis for light neutralinos. The theoretical model considered is an effective MSSM without gaugino-mass unification, which allows neutralinos of light masses (below 50 GeV). The muon events are divided in through-going and stopping muons, using the geometry of the Super-Kamiokande detector. In the evaluation of the signals, we take into account the relevant hadronic and astrophysics uncertainties and include neutrino oscillation and propa…
In the scenario with four generation quarks and leptons and using a 3 + 1 neutrino model having one sterile and the three standard active neutrinos with a $4 \times 4$ unitary transformation matrix, $U_{PMNS_{4}}$, we perform a model-based analysis using the latest global data and determine bounds on the sterile neutrino parameters i.e. the neutrino mixing angles. Motivated by our previous results, where, in a quark-lepton complementarity (QLC) model we predicted the values of $θ_{13}^{PMNS}=(9_{-2}^{+1})^{\circ}$ and $θ_{23}^{PMNS}=(40.60_{-0.3}^{+0.1})^{\circ}$. In the QLC model the non-triv…
It is by now established that neutrinos mix, have (different) non-zero masses, and therefore oscillate. The oscillation parameters themselves, however, are not all well-known. An open problem is that of the neutrino mass hierarchy. We study the possibility of determining the neutrino mass hierarchy with atmospheric neutrinos using an iron calorimeter detector capable of charge identification such as the proposed MONOLITH and ICAL/INO detectors. We find that such detectors are sensitive to the sign of the mass-squared difference, δ_{32} = m_3^2 - m_2^2, provided the as-yet unknown mixing angle …
We discuss the prospects of exploring the neutrino mass parameters with a CERN based Beta-beam experiment using two different detectors at two different baselines. The proposed set-up consists of a 50 kton iron calorimeter (ICAL) at a baseline of around 7150 km which is roughly the magic baseline, e.g., ICAL@INO, and a 50 kton Totally Active Scintillator Detector at a distance of 730 km, e.g., at Gran Sasso. We take 8B and 8Li source ions with a boost factor $γ$ of 650 for the magic baseline while for the closer detector we consider 18Ne and 6He ions with a range of Lorentz boosts. We find tha…
