我们研究了一个简单的化学反应系统和内噪声的影响。化学反应系统引起Togashi和Kaneko [Phys. Rev. Lett. 86(2001)2459; J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. 72(2003)62]。
We study a simple chemical reaction system and effects of the internal noise. The chemical reaction system causes the same transition phenomenon discussed by Togashi and Kaneko [Phys. Rev. Lett. 86 (2001) 2459; J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. 72 (2003) 62]. By using the simpler model than Togashi-Kaneko's one, we discuss the transition phenomenon by means of a random walk model and an effective model. The discussion makes it clear that quasi-absorbing states, which are produced by the change of the strength of the internal noise, play an important role in the transition phenomenon. Stabilizing the quasi-absorbing states causes bifurcation of the peaks in the stationary probability distribution discontinuously.
The Langevin description of systems with two symmetric absorbing states yields a phase diagram with three different phases (disordered and active, ordered and active, absorbing) separated by critical lines belonging to three different universality classes (generalized voter, Ising, and directed percolation). In this paper we present a microscopic spin model with two symmetric absorbing states that has the property that the model parameters can be varied in a continuous way. Our results, obtained through extensive numerical simulations, indicate that all features of the Langevin description are…
We investigate the informational aspect of (1+1)-dimensional directed percolation, a canonical model of a nonequilibrium continuous transition to a phase dominated by a single special state called the "absorbing" state. Using a tensor network scheme, we numerically calculate the time evolution of state probability distribution of directed percolation. We find a universal relaxation of Renyi entropy at the absorbing phase transition point as well as a new singularity in the active phase, slightly but distinctly away from the absorbing transition point. At the new singular point, the second-orde…
Interdependent networks are more fragile under random attacks than simplex networks, because interlayer dependencies lead to cascading failures and finally to a sudden collapse. This is a hybrid phase transition (HPT), meaning that at the transition point the order parameter has a jump but there are also critical phenomena related to it. Here we study these phenomena on the Erdős--Rényi and the two dimensional interdependent networks and show that the hybrid percolation transition exhibits two kinds of critical behaviors: divergence of the fluctuations of the order parameter and power-law size…
We investigate the origin of the difference, which was noticed by Fey {\it et al.} [Phys. Rev. Lett. {\bf 104}, 145703 (2010)], between the steady state density of an Abelian sandpile model (ASM) and the transition point of its corresponding deterministic fixed-energy sandpile model (DFES). Being deterministic, the configuration space of a DFES can be divided into two disjoint classes such that every configuration in one class should evolve into one of absorbing states, whereas no configurations in the other class can reach an absorbing state. Since the two classes are separated in terms of to…
Stochastic processes with absorbing states feature remarkable examples of non-equilibrium universal phenomena. While a broad understanding has been progressively established in the classical regime, relatively little is known about the behavior of these non-equilibrium systems in the presence of quantum fluctuations. Here we theoretically address such a scenario in an open quantum spin model which in its classical limit undergoes a directed percolation phase transition. By mapping the problem to a non-equilibrium field theory, we show that the introduction of quantum fluctuations stemming from…

While the equilibrium properties, states, and phase transitions of interacting systems are well described by statistical mechanics, the lack of suitable state parameters has hindered the understanding of non-equilibrium phenomena in diverse settings, from glasses to driven systems to biology. The length of a losslessly compressed data file is a direct measure of its information content: The more ordered the data is, the lower its information content and the shorter the length of its encoding can be made. Here, we describe how data compression enables the quantification of order in non-equilibr…
