I discuss in this paper the behaviour of the solutions of the so-called q-hyperbolic potentials, i.e. P"oschl-Teller-like and conditionally solvable potentials, in terms of the path integral formalism. The differences in comparison to the usual P"oschl-Teller-like potentials are investigated, including the discrete energy spectra and the bound state wave-functions.

Exact electronic bands for a periodic Poschl-Teller potential

We show that supersymmetry is a simple but powerful tool to exactly solve quantum mechanics problems. Here, the supersymmetric approach is used to analyse a quantum system with periodic Pöschl-Teller potential, and to find out the exact energy spectra and the corresponding band structure.

We examine time dependent Schrodinger equation with oscillating boundary condition. Bounded solutions of fermions in the background of mixed vector-scalar Pöschl-Teller-like potentials

The problem of a fermion subject to a convenient mixing of vector and scalar potentials in a two-dimensional space-time is mapped into a Sturm-Liouville problem. For a specific case which gives rise to an exactly solvable effective modified Pöschl-Teller potential in the Sturm-Liouville problem, bound-state solutions are found. The behaviour of the upper and lower components of the Dirac spinor is discussed in detail and some unusual results are revealed. Exact Solutions of the Klein-Gordon Equation for q-Deformed Manning-Rosen Potential via Asymptotic Iteration Method

Asymptotic iteration method (AIM) is used to find the exact analytical solutions of the one dimensional Klein-Gordon equation for the q-deformed Manning-Rosen potential with equal Lorentz vector and scalar potential. The bound state eigenfunctions are obtained in terms of the hypergeometric functions. Using the present results energy eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions of the special cases like Poschl-Teller potential, Rosen-Morse potential and Eckart type potential are derived before concluding the work.

Application of nonlinear deformation algebra to a physical system with Pöschl-Teller potential

We comment on a recent paper by Chen, Liu, and Ge (J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 31 (1998) 6473), wherein a nonlinear deformation of su(1,1) involving two deforming functions is realized in the exactly solvable quantum-mechanical problem with P\" oschl-Teller potential, and is used to derive the well-known su(1,1) spectrum-generating algebra of this problem. A new family of shape invariantly deformed Darboux-Pöschl-Teller potentials with continuous \ell

We present a new family of shape invariant potentials which could be called a ``continuous \ell version" of the potentials corresponding to the exceptional (X_{\ell}) J1 Jacobi polynomials constructed recently by the present authors. In a certain limit, it reduces to a continuous \ell family of shape invariant potentials related to the exceptional (X_{\ell}) L1 Laguerre polynomials. The latter was known as one example of the `conditionally exactly solvable potentials' on a half line.
