We proposed a concept of LU transformation invariant operators. By using this operator, arbitrary multi-qubit states LU transformation invariant and SLOCC invariant could be easily obtained. And we find that presences two kinds of invariant operators and corresponding invariants. One kind of operators yields LU invariants and the other operators results in SLOCC invariants. For three-qubit states, all independence LU transformation invariant are obtained. Furthermore, by this system method, arbitrary multi-qubit states invariants can be given.
A new form of local unitary (LU) transformation invariant is given for multi-qubit states . The general relation between tangle and the LU transformation invariant of pure three and four-qubit states is given. We find that the tangle actually is a special LU transformation invariant. Furthermore, the tangle is a important local unitary (LU) transformation invariant which is a nessesary condition for maximally multi-qubit entangled state.
We investigate the equivalence of bipartite quantum mixed states under local unitary transformations by introducing representation classes from a geometrical approach. It is shown that two bipartite mixed states are equivalent under local unitary transformations if and only if they have the same representation class. Detailed examples are given on calculating representation classes.
Lorentz boosts on particles with spin and momentum degrees of freedom induce momentum-dependent rotations. Since, in general, different particles have different momenta, the transformation on the whole state is not a representation of the rotation group. Here we identify the group that acts on a two-particle system and, for the case when the momenta of the particles are correlated, find invariant subspaces that have interesting properties for quantum information processes in relativistic scenarios. A basis of states is proposed for the study of transformations of spin states under Lorentz boos…
N-order Darboux transformation operator is defined on the basis of a general notion of transformation operators. Factorisation properties of this operator are studied. The Darboux transformation operator technique is applied to construct and investigate potentials with bound states at arbitrary energies for the spectral problem on semiaxis.
The equivalence of arbitrary dimensional bipartite states under local unitary transformations (LUT) is studied. A set of invariants and ancillary invariants under LUT is presented. We show that two states are equivalent under LUT if and only if they have the same values for all of these invariants.
As a natural extension of Fan's paper (arXiv: 0903.1769vl [quant-ph]) by employing the formula of operators' Weyl ordering expansion and the bipartite entangled state representation we find new two-fold complex integration transformation about the Wigner operator (in its entangled form) in phase space quantum mechanics and its inverse transformation. In this way, some operator ordering problems can be solved and the contents of phase space quantum mechanics can be enriched.
We study the equivalence of quantum states under local unitary transformations by using the singular value decomposition. A complete set of invariants under local unitary transformations is presented for several classes of tripartite mixed states in KxMxN composite systems. Two density matrices in the same class are equivalent under local unitary transformations if and only if all these invariants have equal values for these density matrices.
Quantum annealing tends to be more difficult as the energy landscape of the problem becomes complicated with many local minima. We have found a transformation for changing the energy landscape that swaps the eigenvalues and paired states without changing the eigenvalues of the instance at all. The transformation is basically a partial recombination of the two-spin interaction coefficient Jij and the longitudinal magnetic field interaction coefficient hi. The Hamming distance corresponding to a barrier between the states changes by the transformation, which in turn affects the ground state conv…
This work intends to present a study on relations between a Lie algebra called dispersion operators algebra, linear canonical transformation and a phase space representation of quantum mechanics that we have introduced and studied in previous works. The paper begins with a brief recall of our previous works followed by the description of the dispersion operators algebra which is performed in the framework of the phase space representation. Then, linear canonical transformations are introduced and linked with this algebra. A multidimensional generalization of the obtained results is given
Recently, Quesne on the one side and on the other side Bougie, Gangopadhyaya and Mallow, have discovered new translational shape invariant potentials not present in previous classifications. By using ordinary Bäcklund--Darboux transformations we propose a new framework in which such shape invariant potentials can be accommodated.
We determine the local symmetries and local transformation properties of translationally invariant matrix product states (MPS). We focus on physical dimension $d=2$ and bond dimension $D=3$ and use the procedure introduced in D. Sauerwein et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 123, 170504 (2019) to determine all (including non--global) symmetries of those states. We identify and classify the stochastic local transformations (SLOCC) that are allowed among MPS. We scrutinize two very distinct sets of MPS and show the big diversity (also compared to the case $D=2$) occurring in both, their symmetries and the p…
We construct Lewis-Riesenfeld invariants from two dimensional point transformations for two oscillators that are coupled to each other in space in a PT-symmetrical and time-dependent fashion. The non-Hermitian Hamiltonian of the model is conveniently expressed in terms of generators of the symplectic $sp(4)$ Lie algebra. This allows for an alternative systematic approach to find Lewis-Riesenfeld invariants leading to a set of coupled differential equations that we solve by using time-ordered exponentials. We also demonstrate that point transformations may be utilized to directly construct time…
For eleven examples of one-dimensional quantum mechanics with shape-invariant potentials, the Darboux-Crum transformations in terms of multiple pseudo virtual state wavefunctions are shown to be equivalent to Krein-Adler transformations deleting multiple eigenstates with shifted parameters. These are based upon infinitely many polynomial Wronskian identities of classical orthogonal polynomials, i.e. the Hermite, Laguerre and Jacobi polynomials, which constitute the main part of the eigenfunctions of various quantum mechanical systems with shape-invariant potentials.
In this paper we describe a novel, graphical method, allowing the fast computation of field operator transformations for linear lossless optical devices in Quantum Optics (QO). The advantage of this method grows with the complexity of the considered optical setup. As case studies we examine the field operator transformations for the beam splitter (BS), the Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) and the double MZI. We consider the simple case with monochromatic input light, as well as extensions to the non-monochromatic case.
In a certain sense we generalize the recently introduced and extensively studied notion called quantum Rényi divergence (in another name, sandwiched Rényi relative entropy) and describe the structures of corresponding symmetries. More precisely, we characterize all transformations on the set of density operators which leave our new general quantity invariant and also determine the structure of all bijective transformations on the cone of positive definite operators which preserve the quantum Rényi divergence.
By virtue of the integration method within P-ordered product of operators and the property of entangled state representation, we reveal new physical interpretation of the generalized two-mode squeezing operator (GTSO), and find it be decomposed as the product of free-space propagation operator, single-mode and two-mode squeezing operators, as well as thin lens transformation operator. This docomposition is useful to design of opticl devices for generating various squeezed states of light. Transformation of entangled state representation induced by GTSO is emphasized.
We revise the Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant method for solving the quantum time-dependent harmonic oscillator in light of the Quantum Arnold Transformation previously introduced and its recent generalization to the Quantum Arnold-Ermakov-Pinney Transformation. We prove that both methods are equivalent and show the advantages of the Quantum Arnold-Ermakov-Pinney transformation over the Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant method. We show that, in the quantum time-dependent and damped harmonic oscillator, the invariant proposed by Dodonov & Man'ko is more suitable and provide some examples to illustrate it, …
The Fokker-Planck equation associated with the two - dimensional stationary Schrödinger equation has the conservation low form that yields a pair of potential equations. The special form of Darboux transformation of the potential equations system is considered. As the potential variable is a nonlocal variable for the Schrödinger equation that provides the nonlocal Darboux transformation for the Schrödinger equation. This nonlocal transformation is applied for obtaining of the exactly solvable two - dimensional stationary Schrödinger equations. The examples of exactly solvable two - dimensional…
We investigate the backward Darboux transformations (addition of a lowest bound state) of shape-invariant potentials on the line, and classify the subclass of algebraic deformations, those for which the potential and the bound states are simple elementary functions. A countable family, $m=0,1,2,...$, of deformations exists for each family of shape-invariant potentials. We prove that the $m$-th deformation is exactly solvable by polynomials, meaning that it leaves invariant an infinite flag of polynomial modules $\mathcal{P}^{(m)}_m\subset\mathcal{P}^{(m)}_{m+1}\subset...$, where $\mathcal{P}^{…
