Comment on Ghost imaging with a single detector [arXiv0812.2633v2]

Computational ghost imaging has been demonstrated experimentally recently. In this comment we wish to clarify the difference between pseudothermal ghost imaging (PGI) and computational ghost imaging (CGI). In particular, to emphasize the physics that arises from the difference in the type of sources used. The experiment in [2] is not a PGI experiment but is a simulation of PGI. If we consider CGI at the single photon level, it becomes clear that CGI relies on two identical photons, one real and one simulated, to obtain an image.

Comment on "Dense coding in entangled states"

In a recent Brief Report, Lee et al. [L. Lee, D. Ahn, and S.W. Hwang, Phys. Rev. A 66, 024304 (2002)] have claimed that using pairwise entangled qubits gives rise to an exponentially more efficient dense coding when two parties are involved than using maximally entangled qubits shared among N parties. Here, we show that their claim is not true.

Comment on "Quantification of Macroscopic Quantum Superpositions within Phase Space"

The phase space measure proposed by Lee and Jeong [PRL 106, 220401 (2011)] is shown to be closely related to a well-studied measure in the literature. For pure states, the newly proposed measure is equivalent to an old measure; for mixed states, some discussions are given.

Response to "Comment on Universal Lindblad Equation for open quantum systems"

In a recent comment, Lee and Yeo show that the Gibbs state is not generically an exact steady state of the Universal Lindblad Equation (ULE) that we developed in Phys. Rev. B 102, 115109 (2020). This non-controversial observation is precisely as expected for open quantum systems with finite system-bath coupling, where transition rates may be comparable to or larger than the level spacing of the system, and we made no claim to the contrary in our paper.
