Quantum repeated games

In a two-stage repeated classical game of prisoners' dilemma the knowledge that both players will defect in the second stage makes the players to defect in the first stage as well. We find a quantum version of this repeated game where the players decide to cooperate in the first stage while knowing that both will defect in the second.

Quantization of the Location Stage of Hotelling Model

We present the classical Hotelling model we want to quantize, and investigate the quantum consequences of the game. Our results demonstrate that the quantum game give higher profit for both players, and that with the quantum entanglement parameter increasing, the quantum benefit over the classical increases too. Then we extend the model to a more general form, and quantum advantage keeps unchanged.

Introduction to the study of entropy in Quantum Games

The present work is an introductory study about entropy its properties and its role in quantum information theory. In a next work, we will use these results to the analysis of a quantum game described by a density operator and with its entropy equal to von Neumann's.

The structure of optimal and nearly-optimal quantum strategies for non-local XOR games

We study optimal and nearly-optimal quantum strategies for non-local XOR games. First, we prove the following general result: for every non-local XOR game, there exists a set of relations with the properties: (1) a quantum strategy is optimal for the game if and only if it satisfies the relations, and (2) a quantum strategy is nearly optimal for the game if and only if it approximately satisfies the relations.
