We establish the quantum stationary Hamilton-Jacobi equation in 3-D and its solutions for three symmetrical potentials, Cartesian symmetry potential, spherical symmetry potential and cylindrical symmetry potential. For the two last potentials, a new interpretation of the Spin is proposed within the framework of trajectory representation.

A generalization of the Hamilton-Jacobi theory to arbitrary dynamical systems, including non-Hamiltonian ones, is considered. The generalized Hamilton-Jacobi theory is constructed as a theory of ensemble of identical systems moving in the configuration space and described by the continual equation of motion and the continuity equation. A generalized Hamilton-Jacobi representation describes microstates of the Schrödinger wave function for bound states. At the very points that boundary values are applied to the bound state Schrödinger wave function, the generalized Hamilton-Jacobi equation for quantum mechanics exhibits a nodal singularity. For initial value problems, the two representations are equivalent.
We apply the quantum Hamilton-Jacobi formalism, naturally defined in the complex domain, to a number of complex Hamiltonians, characterized by discrete parity and time reversal (PT) symmetries and obtain their eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. For higher derivative theories, using the approach of Caratheodory's equivalent Lagrangian, we show that there exist novel formulations of Hamilton-Jacobi equations, which are different from the formulations derived from Hamilton's canonical approach. The quantum mechanical correspondences of these novel Hamilton-Jacobi equations lead to nonlinear quantum mechanics, which seem being able to avoid the unbounded negative energy problem in the quantum mechanics of higher derivative theories.
