Supersymmetric Dynamical Invariants

We address the problem of identifying the (nonstationary) quantum systems that admit supersymmetric dynamical invariants. In particular, we give a general expression for the bosonic and fermionic partner Hamiltonians. Due to the supersymmetric nature of the dynamical invariant the solutions of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the partner Hamiltonians can be easily mapped to one another. We use this observation to obtain a class of exactly solvable time-dependent Schrödinger equations. As applications of our method, we construct classes of exactly solvable time-dependent generalized harmonic oscillators and spin Hamiltonians.

A Relation Between $Z_3$-Graded Symmetry and Shape Invariant Supersymmetric Systems

We study an important property of shape invariant supersymmetric quantum mechanical systems. Particularly, we demonstrate that each shape invariant supersymmetric system can constitute a $Z_3$-graded topological symmetric algebra. The latter is known to provide topological invariants which are generalizations of the Witten index. In addition, we relate the $Z_3$-graded algebra to the generators of the SO(2,1) Lie algebra underlying each shape invariant system. We generalize the results to the case of sequential shape invariant systems, in which case we find a sequence of $Z_3$-graded algebras.…

Broken Supersymmetric Shape Invariant Systems and Their Potential Algebras

Although eigenspectra of one dimensional shape invariant potentials with unbroken supersymmetry are easily obtained, this procedure is not applicable when the parameters in these potentials correspond to broken supersymmetry, since there is no zero energy eigenstate. We describe a novel two-step shape invariance approach as well as a group theoretic potential algebra approach for solving such broken supersymmetry problems.

Fractional supersymmetric quantum mechanics, topological invariants and generalized deformed oscillator algebras

Fractional supersymmetric quantum mechanics of order $λ$ is realized in terms of the generators of a generalized deformed oscillator algebra and a Z$_λ$-grading structure is imposed on the Fock space of the latter. This realization is shown to be fully reducible with the irreducible components providing $λ$ sets of minimally bosonized operators corresponding to both unbroken and broken cases. It also furnishes some examples of Z$_λ$-graded uniform topological symmetry of type (1, 1, ..., 1) with topological invariants generalizing the Witten index.

Algebraic Realization of Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics for Cyclic Shape Invariant Potentials

We study in detail the spectrum of the bosonic oscillator Hamiltonian associated with the $C_3$-extended oscillator algebra \algthree, where $C_3$ denotes a cyclic group of order three, and classify the various types of spectra in terms of the algebra parameters $α_0, α_1$. Generation of a Complete Set of Supersymmetric Shape Invariant Potentials from an Euler Equation

In supersymmetric quantum mechanics, shape invariance is a sufficient condition for solvability. We show that all conventional additive shape invariant superpotentials that are independent of $\hbar$ obey two partial differential equations. One of these is equivalent to the one-dimensional Euler equation expressing momentum conservation for inviscid fluid flow, and it is closed by the other. The Connection Between Density Matrix Method, Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics and Lewis-Riesenfeld Invariant Theory

This paper is concerned with the connection between density matrix method, supersymmetric quantum mechanics and Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant theory. It is shown that these three formulations share the common mathematical structure: specifically, all of them have the invariant operators which satisfies the Liouville-Von Neumann equation and the solutions to the time-dependent Schrödinger equation and/or Schrödinger eigenvalue equation can be constructed in terms of the eigenstates of the invariants.

Classification of irreps and invariants of the N-extended Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics

We present an algorithmic classification of the irreps of the $N$-extended one-dimensional supersymmetry algebra linearly realized on a finite number of fields. Our work is based on the 1-to-1 \cite{pt} correspondence between Weyl-type Clifford algebras (whose irreps are fully classified) and classes of irreps of the $N$-extended 1D supersymmetry. Fractional supersymmetry and hierarchy of shape invariant potentials

Fractional supersymmetric quantum mechanics is developed from a generalized Weyl-Heisenberg algebra. The Hamiltonian and the supercharges of fractional supersymmetric dynamical systems are built in terms of the generators of this algebra. The Hamiltonian gives rise to a hierarchy of isospectral Hamiltonians. Special cases of the algebra lead to dynamical systems for which the isospectral supersymmetric partner Hamiltonians are connected by a (translational or cyclic) shape invariance condition.

Barrier Penetration for Supersymmetric Shape-Invariant Potentials

Exact reflection and transmission coefficients for supersymmetric shape-invariant potentials barriers are calculated by an analytical continuation of the asymptotic wave functions obtained via the introduction of new generalized ladder operators. The general form of the wave function is obtained by the use of the F-matrix formalism of Froman and Froman which is related to the evolution of asymptotic wave function coefficients.

Shape Invariant Potentials in Supersymmetric Quantum Cosmology

In this brief review, we comment on the concept of shape invariant potentials, which is an essential feature in many settings of $N=2$ supersymmetric quantum mechanics. To motivate its application within supersymmetric quantum cosmology, we present a case study to illustrate the value of this promising tool. Supersymmetric and Shape-Invariant Generalization for Nonresonant and Intensity-Dependent Jaynes-Cummings Systems

A class of shape-invariant bound-state problems which represent transition in a two-level system introduced earlier are generalized to include arbitrary energy splittings between the two levels as well as intensity-dependent interactions. We show that the couple-channel Hamiltonians obtained correspond to the generalizations of the nonresonant and intensity-dependent nonresonant Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonians, widely used in quantized theories of laser. In this general context, we determine the eigenstates, eigenvalues, the time evolution matrix and the population inversion matrix factor.

The Supersymmetric WKB Formalism is Not Exact for All Additive Shape Invariant Potentials

Following the verification of the conjecture made by Comtet, Bandrauk and Campbell that the supersymmetry-inspired semiclassical method known as SWKB is exact for the conventional additive shape invariant potentials, it was widely believed that SWKB yields exact results for all additive shape invariant potentials. Exact solutions to the time-dependent supersymmetric muliphoton Jaynes-Cummings model and the Chiao-Wu model
