Recently Quantum Battle of The Sexes Game has been studied by Luca Marinatto and Tullio Weber. Yet some important problems exist in their scheme. Here we propose a new scheme to quantize Battle of The Sexes Game, and this scheme will truly remove the dilemma that exists in the classical form of the game.

We analysed quantum version of the game battle of sexes using a general initial quantum state. For a particular choice of initial entangled quantum state it is shown that the classical dilemma of the battle of sexes can be resolved and a unique solution of the game can be obtained.
We present the unique solution to the Quantum Battle of the Sexes game. We show the best result which can be reached when the game is played according to Marinatto and Weber's scheme. The result which we put forward does not surrender the criticism of previous works on the same topic.
Several quantum versions of the battle of the sexes game are analyzed. Some of them are shown to reproduce the classical game. In some, there are no Nash quantum pure equilibria. In some others, the payoffs are always equal to each other. In others still, all equilibria favor Alice or Bob depending on a phase shift of the initial state of the system. Explicit detailed calculations are for the first time exhibited.
We investigate Nash Equilibrium in the quantum Battle of Sexes Game. We find the game has infinite Nash Equilibria and all of them leads to the asymmetry result. We also show that there is no unique but infinite Nash Equilibrium in it if we use the quantizing scheme proposed by Eisert et al and the two players are allowed to adopt any unitary operator as his/her strategies.
Quantum games have gained much popularity in the last two decades. Many of these quantum games are a redefinition of iconic classical games to fit the quantum world, and they gain many different properties and solutions in this different view. In this letter, we attempt to find a solution to an asymmetric quantum game which still troubles quantum game researchers, the quantum battle of the sexes. To achieve that, we perform an analysis using the Eisert-Wilkens-Lewenstein's protocol for this asymmetric game. The protocol highlights two solutions for the game, which solve the dilemma and satisfy…

Recently Marinatto and Weber introduced an interesting new scheme for quantizing games, and applied their scheme to the famous game 'Battle of the Sexes'. In this Comment we make two observations: (a) the overall quantization scheme is fundamentally very similar to a previous scheme proposed by Eisert et al., and (b) in contrast to a main claim of the paper, the quantum Battle of the Sexes game does not have a unique solution - a similar dilemma exists in both the classical and the quantum versions.
In this paper I quantize the stag hunt game in the framework proposed by Marinatto and Weber which, is introduced to quantize the Battle of the Sexes game and gives a general quntization scheme of various game theories. Then I discuss the Nash equibilium solution in the cases of which starting strategies are taken in both non entangled state and entangled state and uncover the structure of Nash Equilibrium solutions and compare the case of the Battle of the Sexes game. Since the game has 4 parameters in the payoff matrix has rather rich structure than the Battle of the Sexes game with 3-parame…
We study quantum games with correlated noise through a generalized quantization scheme. We investigate the effects of memory on quantum games, such as Prisoner's Dilemma, Battle of the Sexes and Chicken, through three prototype quantum-correlated channels. It is shown that the quantum player enjoys an advantage over the classical player for all nine cases considered in this paper for the maximally entangled case. However, the quantum player can also outperform the classical player for subsequent cases that can be noted in the case of the Battle of the Sexes game. It can be seen that the Nash e…
We extend the concept of a classical two-person static game to the quantum domain, by giving an Hilbert structure to the space of classical strategies and studying the Battle of the Sexes game. We show that the introduction of entangled strategies leads to a unique solution of this game.
We quantize prisoners dilemma, chicken game and battle of sexes to explore the effect of quantization on their strategic form. The games start with Werner-like state as an initial state. We show that for the measurement in entangled basis the strategic forms of these games remain unaffected by quantization. On the other hand when measurement is performed in product basis then these games could not retain their strategic forms.
Games with incomplete information are formulated in a multi-sector probability matrix formalism that can cope with quantum as well as classical strategies. An analysis of classical and quantum strategy in a multi-sector extension of the game of Battle of Sexes clarifies the two distinct roles of nonlocal strategies, and establish the direct link between the true quantum gain of game's payoff and the breaking of Bell inequalities.
A Bayesian game is a game of incomplete information in which the rules of the game are not fully known to all players. We consider the Bayesian game of Battle of Sexes that has several Bayesian Nash equilibria and investigate its outcome when the underlying probability set is obtained from generalized Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen experiments. We find that this probability set, which may become non-factorizable, results in a unique Bayesian Nash equilibrium of the game.
Effects of a corrupt source on the dynamics of simultaneous move strategic games are analyzed both for classical and quantum settings. The corruption rate dependent changes in the payoffs and strategies of the players are observed. It is shown that there is a critical corruption rate at which the players lose their quantum advantage, and that the classical strategies are more robust to the corruption in the source. Moreover, it is understood that the information on the corruption rate of the source may help the players choose their optimal strategy for resolving the dilemma and increase their …
We present a novel formulation of quantum game theory based on the Schmidt decomposition, which has the merit that the entanglement of quantum strategies is manifestly quantified. We apply this formulation to 2-player, 2-strategy symmetric games and obtain a complete set of quantum Nash equilibria. Apart from those available with the maximal entanglement, these quantum Nash equilibria are extensions of the Nash equilibria in classical game theory. The phase structure of the equilibria is determined for all values of entanglement, and thereby the possibility of resolving the dilemmas by entangl…
Symmetric quantum games for 2-player, 2-qubit strategies are analyzed in detail by using a scheme in which all pure states in the 2-qubit Hilbert space are utilized for strategies. We consider two different types of symmetric games exemplified by the familiar games, the Battle of the Sexes (BoS) and the Prisoners' Dilemma (PD). These two types of symmetric games are shown to be related by a duality map, which ensures that they share common phase structures with respect to the equilibria of the strategies. We find eight distinct phase structures possible for the symmetric games, which are deter…
Theory of quantum games is relatively new to the literature and its applications to various areas of research are being explored. It is a novel interpretation of strategies and decisions in quantum domain. In the earlier work on quantum games considerable attention was given to the resolution of dilemmas present in corresponding classical games. Two separate quantum schemes were presented by Eisert et al. and Marinatto and Weber to resolve dilemmas in Prisoners' Dilemma and Battle of Sexes games respectively. However for the latter scheme it was argued that dilemma was not resolved. We have mo…
Since the initial discovery of quantum teleportation, it is devoted to transferring unknown quantum states from one party to another distant partner. However, in the scenarios of remote sensing, what people truly care about is the information carried by certain parameters. The problem of multiparameter estimation in the framework of qutrit teleportation under amplitude damping (AD) noise is studied. Particularly, two schemes are proposed to battle against AD noise and enhance the precision of multiparameter estimation by utilizing weak measurement (WM) and environment-assisted measurement (EAM…
