Multi-Player and Multi-Choice Quantum Game

We investigate a multi-player and multi-choice quantum game. We start from two-player and two-choice game and the result is better than its classical version. Then we extend it to N-player and N-choice cases. In the quantum domain, we provide a strategy with which players can always avoid the worst outcome. Also, by changing the value of the parameter of the initial state, the probabilities for players to obtain the best payoff will be much higher that in its classical version.

Two-player quantum games: When player strategies are via directional choices

We propose a scheme for a quantum game based on performing an EPR type experiment and in which each player's spatial directional choices are considered as their strategies. A classical mixed-strategy game is recovered by restricting the players' choices to specific spatial trajectories. We show that for players' directional choices for which the Bell-CHSH inequality is violated, the players' payoffs in the quantum game have no mapping within the classical mixed-strategy game. The scheme provides a more direct link between classical and quantum games.

Analyzing three-player quantum games in an EPR type setup

We use the formalism of Clifford Geometric Algebra (GA) to develop an analysis of quantum versions of three-player non-cooperative games. The quantum games we explore are played in an Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) type setting. The $N$-player quantum game is analyzed in the context of an Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) experiment. Noise effects in a three-player Prisoner's Dilemma quantum game

We study the three-player Prisoner's Dilemma game under the effect of decoherence and correlated noise. It is seen that the quantum player is always better off over the classical players. It is also seen that the game's Nash equilibrium does not change in the presence of correlated noise in contradiction to the effect of decoherence in multiplayer case. Constructing multi-player quantum games from non-factorizable joint probabilities

We use the standard three-party Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) setting in order to play general three-player non-cooperative symmetric games. We analyze how the peculiar non-factorizable joint probabilities that may emerge in the EPR setting can change outcome of the game. Our setup requires that the quantum game attains classical interpretation for factorizable joint probabilities. Communication aspects of a three-player Prisoner's Dilemma quantum game

We present a quantization scheme for a three-player Prisoner's Dilemma game. It is shown that entanglement plays a dominant role in the three-player quantum game. Randomness in nonlocal games between mistrustful players

If two quantum players at a nonlocal game G achieve a superclassical score, then their measurement outcomes must be at least partially random from the perspective of any third player. Bell Violations through Independent Bases Games

Advantage of a quantum player over a classical one in 2x2 quantum games

We study a general $2 \times 2$ symmetric, entangled, quantum game. When one player has access only to classical strategies while the other can use the full range of quantum strategies, there are ``miracle'' moves available to the quantum player that can direct the result of the game towards the quantum player's preferred result regardless of the classical player's strategy. The advantage pertaining to the quantum player is dependent on the degree of entanglement. Below a critical level, dependent on the payoffs in the game, the miracle move is of no advantage.

Cooperative three- and four- player quantum games

Characterizing the Nash equilibria of three-player Bayesian quantum games

Quantum games with incomplete information can be studied within a Bayesian framework. We analyze games quantized within the EWL framework [Eisert, Wilkens, and Lewenstein, Phys Rev. Lett. 83, 3077 (1999)]. We solve for the Nash equilibria of a variety of two-player quantum games and compare the results to the solutions of the corresponding classical games. We then analyze Bayesian games where there is uncertainty about the player types in two-player conflicting interest games. Analysis of two-player quantum games in an EPR setting using geometric algebra

The framework for playing quantum games in an Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) type setting is investigated using the mathematical formalism of Clifford geometric algebra (GA). In this setting, the players' strategy sets remain identical to the ones in the classical mixed-strategy version of the game, which is then obtained as proper subset of the corresponding quantum game. As examples, using GA we analyze the games of Prisoners' Dilemma and Stag Hunt when played in the EPR type setting.

Multi-Player Quantum Games

Recently the concept of quantum information has been introduced into game theory. Here we present the first study of quantum games with more than two players. We discover that such games can possess a new form of equilibrium strategy, one which has no analogue either in traditional games or even in two-player quantum games. In these `pure' coherent equilibria, entanglement shared among multiple players enables new kinds of cooperative behavior: indeed it can act as a contract, in the sense that it prevents players from successfully betraying one-another.

Strong parallel repetition for free entangled games, with any number of players
