In this article, we use quasifree reduction to derive the time-dependent Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (HFB) equations describing the dynamics of quantum fluctuations around a Bose-Einstein condensate in $\mathbb R^d$. We prove global well-posedness for the HFB equations for sufficiently regular pair interaction potentials, and establish key conservation laws. Moreover, we show that the solutions to the HFB equations exhibit a symplectic structure, and have a form reminiscent of a Hamiltonian system. This article is intended to outline some the recent work by the author on the chaoticity of some specific bakward shift unbounded operators realized as differential operators acting on some Fock-Bargmann spaces and give suficient conditions on a linear unbounded densely defined chaotic shift operator $T$ acting on a Hilbert space for the operator $T+T^*$ to be chaotic where $T^*$ is its adjoint.
We show that the Calogero-Sutherland (C-S) gas, a famous exact soluble one-dimensional system with an inverse square long range interaction, can be realized by dimension reduction in a cold Bose atom system with a dipole-dipole interaction. Depending on the orientation of the dipoles, the effective interaction is either attractive or repulsive. The low-lying effective theory may be a Luttinger liquid when the exclusion statistics parameter $λ$ may be well-defined. We hope that the C-S gas can be realized experimentally and the Luttinger liquid character can be observed.
The properties of A-statistics, related to the class of simple Lie algebras sl(n+1) (Palev, T.D.: Preprint JINR E17-10550 (1977); hep-th/9705032), are further investigated. We construct a transformation between Bose Fock space and Fermi Fock space that is super-symmetric in the sense that it converts Boson fields into Fermi fields over a fixed one-particle space. The transformation involves the spectral splitting of the one-particle space into a continuous direct integral of internal spaces.
