Lichnerowicz-Jacobi cohomology and homology of Jacobi manifolds: modular class and duality

Lichnerowicz-Jacobi cohomology and homology of Jacobi manifolds are reviewed. We present both in a unified approach using the representation of the Lie algebra of functions on itself by means of the hamiltonian vector fields. The use of the associated Lie algebroid allows to prove that the Lichnerowicz-Jacobi cohomology and homology are invariant under conformal changes of the Jacobi structure and to stablish the duality between Lichnerowicz-Jacobi cohomology and homology when the modular class vanishes. We also compute the Lichnerowicz-Jacobi cohomology and homology for a large variety of examples.

The Symmetric Tensor Lichnerowicz Algebra and a Novel Associative Fourier-Jacobi Algebra

Lichnerowicz's algebra of differential geometric operators acting on symmetric tensors can be obtained from generalized geodesic motion of an observer carrying a complex tangent vector. This relation is based upon quantizing the classical evolution equations, and identifying wavefunctions with sections of the symmetric tensor bundle and Noether charges with geometric operators. Dirac-Jacobi Bundles

We show that a suitable notion of Dirac-Jacobi structure on a generic line bundle $L$, is provided by Dirac structures in the omni-Lie algebroid of $L$. The BV-algebra of a Jacobi manifold

We show that the Gerstenhaber algebra of the 1-jet Lie algebroid of a Jacobi manifold has a canonical exact generator, and discuss duality between its homology and the Lie algebroid cohomology. We also discuss a new example of a Lie bialgebroid on Poisson manifolds.

The graded Jacobi algebras and (co)homology

Jacobi algebroids (i.e. `Jacobi versions' of Lie algebroids) are studied in the context of graded Jacobi brackets on graded commutative algebras. This unifies varios concepts of graded Lie structures in geometry and physics. Jacobi Structures of Evolutionary Partial Differential Equations

In this paper we introduce the notion of infinite dimensional Jacobi structure to describe the geometrical structure of a class of nonlocal Hamiltonian systems which appear naturally when applying reciprocal transformations to Hamiltonian evolutionary PDEs. Geometry of Maurer-Cartan Elements on Complex Manifolds

The semi-classical data attached to stacks of algebroids in the sense of Kashiwara and Kontsevich are Maurer-Cartan elements on complex manifolds, which we call extended Poisson structures as they generalize holomorphic Poisson structures. Jacobi Geometry and Hamiltonian Mechanics: the Unit-Free Approach

We present a systematic treatment of line bundle geometry and Jacobi manifolds with an application to geometric mechanics that has not been noted in the literature. Let R be a commutative ring, and let A be a Poisson algebra over R.
