A note on the generalised Lie algebra sl(2)q

Quantum Lie algebras of type A_n positive, PBW bases and the Yang-Baxter equation

We show explicitly a generalised Lie algebra embedded in the positive and negative parts of the Drinfeld-Jimbo quantum groups of type A_n. Such a generalised Lie algebra satisfy axioms closely related to the ones found by S.L. Woronowicz. For the universal enveloping algebra of such generalised Lie algebras we establish several conditions in order to obtain bases of type Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt. Besides a graded algebra is proposed and some relations with the quantum Yang-Baxter equation are studied.

Generalised Jantzen filtration of Lie superalgebras I

A Jantzen type filtration for generalised Varma modules of Lie superalgebras is introduced. In the case of type I Lie superalgebras, it is shown that the generalised Jantzen filtration for any Kac module is the unique Loewy filtration, and the decomposition numbers of the layers of the filtration are determined by the coefficients of inverse Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials. Furthermore, the length of the Jantzen filtration for any Kac module is determined explicitly in terms of the degree of atypicality of the highest weight. Generators and relations for (generalised) Cartan type superalgebras

In Kac's classification of finite-dimensional Lie superalgebras, the contragredient ones can be constructed from Dynkin diagrams similar to those of the simple finite-dimensional Lie algebras, but with additional types of nodes. For example, $A(n-1,0) = \mathfrak{sl}(1|n)$ can be constructed by adding a "gray" node to the Dynkin diagram of $A_{n-1} = \mathfrak{sl}(n)$, corresponding to an odd null root. Non Commutative Differential Geometry, and the Matrix Representations of Generalised Algebras

The underlying algebra for a noncommutative geometry is taken to be a matrix algebra, and the set of derivatives the adjoint of a subset of traceless matrices. This is sufficient to calculate the dual 1-forms, and show that the space of 1-forms is a free module over the algebra of matrices. The concept of a generalised algebra is defined and it is shown that this is required in order for the space of 2-forms to exist.
