Twisted bundles and twisted K-theory

We offer here a more direct approach to twisted K-theory, based on the notion of twisted vector bundles (of finite or infinite dimension) and of twisted principal bundles. This is closeely related to the classical notion ot torsors and bundles of modules over an algebra bundle. Twisted K-theory is simply defined as the Grothendieck group of twisted vector bundles (with a given twist). Twisted K-theory and finite-dimensional approximation

We provide a finite-dimensional model of the twisted K-group twisted by any degree three integral cohomology class of a CW complex. One key to the model is Furuta's generalized vector bundle, and the other is a finite-dimensional approximation of Fredholm operators.

A universal coefficient theorem for twisted K-theory

In this paper, we recall the definition of twisted K-theory in various settings. We prove that for a twist $τ$ corresponding to a three dimensional integral cohomology class of a space X, there exist a "universal coefficient" isomorphism K_{*}^τ(X)\cong K_{*}(P_τ)\otimes_{K_{*}(\mathbb{C}P^{\infty})} \hat{K}_{*} where $P_τ$ is the total space of the principal $\mathbb{C}P^{\infty}$-bundle induced over X by $τ$ and $\hat K_*$ is obtained form the action of $\mathbb{C}P^{\infty}$ on K-theory.

Twisted motivic Chern class and stable envelopes

We present a definition of {\em twisted motivic Chern classes} for singular pairs $(X,Δ)$ consisting of a singular space $X$ and a $\mathbb Q$-Cartier divisor containing the singularities of $X$. The definition is a mixture of the construction of motivic Chern classes previously defined by Brasselet-Sch{ü}rmann-Yokura with the construction of multiplier ideals. Equivariant twisted Real $K$-theory of compact Lie groups

Let $G$ be a compact, connected, and simply-connected Lie group viewed as a $G$-space via the conjugation action. The Freed-Hopkins-Teleman Theorem (FHT) asserts a canonical link between the equivariant twisted $K$-homology of $G$ and its Verlinde algebra. In this paper we give a generalization of FHT in the presence of a Real structure of $G$. On modular semifinite index theory

We propose a definition of a modular spectral triple which covers existing examples arising from KMS-states, Podles sphere and quantum SU(2). The definition also incorporates the notion of twisted commutators appearing in recent work of Connes and Moscovici. Let $G$ be a finite simple group and $k$ be an algebraically closed field of prime characteristic dividing the order of $G$. We show that for all $2$-cocycles $α\in Z^2(G;k^\times)$, the first Hochschild cohomology group of the twisted group algebra $HH^1(k_αG)$ is nonzero.
