Let S be an arbitrary real surface, with or without boundary, contained in a hypersurface M of the complex euclidean space \C^2, with S and M of class C^{2, a}, where 0 < a < 1. We prove that the Bergman kernel function associated to a smooth measure supported on a piecewise-smooth maximally totally real submanifold K in C^n is of polynomial growth (e.g, in dimension one, K is a finite union of transverse Jordan arcs in C). Our bounds are sharp when K is smooth. We give an application to equidistribution of zeros of random polynomials extending a result of Shiffman-Zelditch to the higher dimensional setting.
Let $X$ be a complex manifold and $L$ be a holomorphic line bundle on $X$. Assume that $L$ is semi-positive, namely $L$ admits a smooth Hermitian metric with semi-positive Chern curvature. Let $Y$ be a compact Kähler submanifold of $X$ such that the restriction of $L$ to $Y$ is topologically trivial. We investigate the obstruction for $L$ to be unitary flat on a neighborhood of $Y$ in $X$. In this article, we solve the equivalence problem for 2--nondegenerate CR geometries that have (at every point) a homogeneous space $G/H$ as a maximally symmetric model for $G$ simple real Lie group of CR automorphisms. This completes the classification of real submanifolds in complex space that are maximally symmetric models with a real simple CR automorphism group. In particular, we construct (local) embeddings of these models into complex space.
We study semiclassical Gevrey pseudodifferential operators, acting on exponentially weighted spaces of entire holomorphic functions. The symbols of such operators are Gevrey functions defined on suitable I-Lagrangian submanifolds of the complexified phase space, which are extended almost holomorphically in the same Gevrey class, or in some larger space, to complex neighborhoods of these submanifolds. Let $Y$ be a compact complex manifold embedded in a complex manifold with unitary flat normal bundle. Our interest is in a sort of the linearizability problem of a neighborhood of $Y$. As a higher-codimensional generalization of Ueda's result, we give a sufficient condition for the existence of a non-singular holomorphic foliation on a neighborhood of $Y$ which includes $Y$ as a leaf with unitary-linear holonomy. We apply this result to the existence problem of a smooth Hermitian metric with semi-positive curvature on a nef line bundle.

In a setting of a complex manifold with a fixed positive line bundle and a submanifold, we consider the optimal Ohsawa-Takegoshi extension operator, sending a holomorphic section of the line bundle on the submanifold to the holomorphic extension of it on the ambient manifold with the minimal $L^2$-norm.
