We prove a relation between the $\bar\partial_M$ cohomology of a minimal orbit $M$ of a real form $G_0$ of a complex semisimple Lie group $G$ in a flag manifold $G/Q$ and the Dolbeault cohomology of the Matsuki dual open orbit $X$ of the complexification $K$ of a maximal compact subgroup $K_0$ of $G_0$, under the assumption that $M$ is Levi-flat.

Remarks on homogeneous manifolds satisfying Levi conditions

Homogeneous complex manifolds satisfying various types of Levi conditions are considered. Classical results which were of particular interest to Andreotti are recalled. Convexity and concavity properties of flag domains are discussed in some detail. A precise classification of pseudoconvex flag domains is given. It is shown that flag domains which are in a certain sense generic are pseudoconcave.

Levi-flat CR structures on compact Lie groups

Pittie [Pit88] proved that the Dolbeault cohomology of all left-invariant complex structures on compact Lie groups can be computed by looking at the Dolbeault cohomology induced on a conveniently chosen maximal torus. We use the algebraic classification of left-invariant CR structures of maximal rank on compact Lie groups [CK04] to generalize Pittie's result to left-invariant Levi-flat CR structures of maximal rank on compact Lie groups.

Deformations of Levi-flat structures in smooth manifolds

We define a complex whose cohomology group of order 1 contains the infinitesimal deformations of a Levi flat structure on a smooth manifold. In the case of real analytic Levi flat structures, this cohomology group is the product of the d-bar cohomology group of order 1 of tangent vector fields to the Levi structure and the cohomology group of order 1 of the associated DGLA.

On geometry of $2$-nondegenerate CR structures of hypersurface type and flag structures on leaf spaces of Levi foliations

We construct canonical absolute parallelisms over real-analytic manifolds equipped with $2$-nondegenerate, hypersurface-type CR structures of arbitrary odd dimension not less than $7$ whose Levi kernel has constant rank belonging to a broad subclass of CR structures that we label as recoverable. Orbits of real forms in complex flag manifolds

We investigate the $CR$ geometry of the orbits $M$ of a real form $G_0$ of a complex simple group $G$ in a complex flag manifold $X=G/Q$. We are mainly concerned with finite type, Levi non-degeneracy conditions, canonical $G_0$-equivariant and Mostow fibrations, and topological properties of the orbits.

Orbits of real forms in complex flag manifolds

We study, from the point of view of CR geometry, the orbits M of a real form G of a complex semisimple Lie group G in a complex flag manifold G/Q. In particular we characterize those that are of finite type and satisfy some Levi nondegeneracy conditions. These properties are also graphically described by attaching to them some cross-marked diagrams that generalize those for minimal orbits that we introduced in a previous paper. By constructing canonical fibrations over real flag manifolds, with simply connected complex fibers, we are also able to compute their fundamental group.

Cohomology and extension problems for semi q-coronae

We prove some extension theorems for analytic objects, in particular sections of a coherent sheaf, defined in semi q-coronae of a complex space. Semi q-coronae are domains whose boundary is the union of a Levi flat part, a q-pseudoconvex part and a q-pseudoconcave part. Such results are obtained mainly using cohomological techniques.
