The Brauer group of modified supergroup algebras

The computation of the Brauer group BM of modified supergroup algebras is perfomed, yielding, in particular, the computation of the Brauer group of all finite-dimensional triangular Hopf algebras when the base field is algebraically closed and of characteristic zero. The results are compared with the computation of lazy cohomology and with Yinhuo Zhang's exact sequence. As an example, we compute explicitely the Brauer group and lazy cohomology for modified supergroup algebras with (extensions of) Weyl groups of irreducible root systems as a group datum and their standard representation as a representation datum.

The second fundamental theorem of invariant theory for the orthosymplectic supergroup

In a previous work we established a super Schur-Weyl-Brauer duality between the orthosymplectic supergroup of superdimension $(m|2n)$ and the Brauer algebra with parameter $m-2n$. This led to a proof of the first fundamental theorem of invariant theory, using some elementary algebraic supergeometry, and based upon an idea of Atiyah. The first fundamental theorem of invariant theory for the orthosymplectic supergroup

We give an elementary proof of the first fundamental theorem of the invariant theory for the orthosymplectic supergroup by generalising the method of Atiyah, Bott and Patodi to the supergroup context. We use methods from super-algebraic geometry to convert invariants of the orthosymplectic supergroup into invariants of the corresponding general linear supergroup on a different space. The periplectic Brauer algebra III: The Deligne category

We construct a faithful categorical representation of an infinite Temperley-Lieb algebra on the periplectic analogue of Deligne's category. We use the corresponding combinatorics to classify thick tensor ideals in this periplectic Deligne category. This allows to determine the objects in the kernel of the monoidal functor going to the module category of the periplectic Lie supergroup. We use this to classify indecomposable direct summands in the tensor powers of the natural representation, determine which are projective and determine their simple top.

Diagram categories and invariant theory for classical groups and supergroups

We introduce the notion of a diagram category and discuss its application to the invariant theory of classical groups and super groups, with some indications concerning extensions to quantum groups and quantum super groups. A modified Brauer algebra as centralizer algebra of the unitary group

The centralizer algebra of the action of the unitary group on the real tensor powers of its natural module, is described by means of a modification in the multiplication of the signed Brauer algebras.
