Weak mixing properties of vector sequences

Notions of weak and uniformly weak mixing (to zero) are defined for bounded sequences in arbitrary Banach spaces. Uniformly weak mixing for vector sequences is characterized by mean ergodic convergence properties. For bounded sequences, which satisfy a certain domination condition, it is shown that weak mixing to zero is equivalent with uniformly weak mixing to zero.

On tensor products of weak mixing vector sequences and their applications to uniquely $E$-weak mixing $C^*$- dynamical systems

We prove that, under certain conditions, uniform weak mixing (to zero) of the bounded sequences in Banach space implies uniform weak mixing of its tensor product. Moreover, we prove that ergodicity of tensor product of the sequences in Banach space implies its weak mixing. Applications of the obtained results, we prove that tensor product of uniquely $E$-weak mixing $C^*$-dynamical systems is also uniquely $E$-weak mixing as well.

Characterisation of conditional weak mixing via ergodicity of the tensor product in Riesz Spaces

We link conditional weak mixing and ergodicity of the tensor product in Riesz spaces. In particular, we characterise conditional weak mixing of a conditional expectation preserving system by the ergodicity of its tensor product with itself or other ergodic systems. In order to achieve this we characterise the components of the weak order units in the tensor product of two Dedekind complete Riesz spaces with weak order units.

Weak mixing for locally compact quantum groups

We generalize the notion of weakly mixing unitary representations to locally compact quantum groups, introducing suitable extensions of all standard characterizations of weak mixing to this setting. On ergodic type theorems for strictly weak mixing C^*-dynamical systems

We prove that unique ergodicity of tensor product of $C^*$-dynamical system implies its strictly weak mixing. By means of this result a uniform weighted ergodic theorem with respect to $S$-Besicovitch sequences for strictly weak mixing dynamical systems is proved. Moreover, we provide certain examples of strictly weak mixing dynamical systems.

Ergodic properties of Bogoliubov automorphisms in free probability

We show that some $C^*$--dynamical systems obtained by "quantizing" classical ones on the free Fock space, enjoy very strong ergodic properties. Namely, if the classical dynamical system $(X, T, \m)$ is ergodic but not weakly mixing, then the resulting quantized system $(\gg,\a)$ is uniquely ergodic (w.r.t the fixed point algebra) but not uniquely weak mixing. Mixing operators on spaces with weak topology

We prove that a continuous linear operator $T$ on a topological vector space $X$ with weak topology is mixing if and only if the dual operator $T'$ has no finite dimensional invariant subspaces. This result implies the characterization of hypercyclic operators on the space $ω$ due to Herzog and Lemmert and implies the result of Bayart and Matheron, who proved that for any hypercyclic operator $T$ on $ω$, $T\oplus T$ is also hypercyclic.

Strict weak mixing of some C*-dynamical systems based on free shifts

We define a stronger property than unique ergodicity with respect to the fixed-point subalgebra previously investigated by Abadie and Dykema. Such a property is denoted as F-strict weak mixing (F stands for the Markov projection onto the fixed-point operator system). Then we show that the free shifts on the reduced C*-algebras of RD-groups, including the free group on infinitely many generators, and amalgamated free product C*-algebras, considered by Abadie and Dykema, are all strictly weak mixing and not merely uniquely ergodic.

A few remarks on mixing properties of $C^*$-dynamical systems

We consider strictly ergodic and strictly weak mixing $C^*$-dynamical systems. We prove that the system is strictly weak mixing if and only if its tensor product is strictly ergodic, moreover strictly weak mixing too. We also investigate some other mixing properties of the system.
