In Asterisque 271 the authors introduced the notion of ind-sheaf, and defined the six Grothendieck operations in this framework. They defined subanalytic sheaves and they obtained the formalism of the six Grothendieck operations by including subanalytic sheaves into the category of ind-sheaves. The aim of this paper is to give a direct construction of the six Grothendieck operations in the framework of subanalytic sites avoiding the heavy theory of ind-sheaves. As an application we show how to recover the subanalytic sheaves of temperate and Whitney holomorphic functions.
In this paper we define specialization and microlocalization for subanalytic sheaves. Applying these functors to the sheaves of tempered and Whytney holomorphic functions we get a unifying description of tempered and formal microlocalization using the theory of subanalytic sheaves.
Given a projection $f$ of a product of real analytic manifolds onto one factor, let us say, $S$, and a subanalytic sheaf $\mathcal{F}$ on the associated subanalytic site, we give a natural construction of the (subanalytic) relative sheaf $\mathcal{F}^S$. Applying our construction to the subanalytic sheaves of tempered distributions, holomorphic functions and Whitney $\mathcal{C}^{\infty}$-functions we obtain their relative versions and study their properties.
Here we prove that the homological dimension of the category of sheaves on a topological space satisfying some suitable conditions is finite. In particular, we find conditions to bound the homological dimension of o-minimal and subanalytic sheaves.
We give a new construction of sheaves on a relative site associated to a product $X\times S$ where $S$ plays the role of a parameter space, expanding the previous construction by the same authors, where the subanalytic structure on $S$ was required. Here we let this last condition fall. In this way the construction becomes much easier to apply when dimension of $S$ is bigger than one. We also study the functorial properties of base change with respect to the parameter space.
In this paper we give a construction of conic sheaves on a subanalytic site and we extend the Fourier-Sato transform to this framework. Let E be a n dimensional complex vector space and let E^* be its dual. As an application we construct the conic sheaves $\OO^t_{E_{\RP}}$ and $\OO^w_{E_{\RP}}$ of tempered and Whitney holomorphic functions respectively and we give a sheaf theoretical interpretation of the Laplace isomorphisms of Kashiwara and Schapira which give the isomorphisms in the derived category $\OO^{t\land}_{E_{\RP}}[n] \simeq \OO^t_{E^*_{\RP}}$ and $\OO^{w\land}_{E_{\RP}}[n] \simeq \…
On a real analytic manifold M, we construct the linear subanalytic Grothendieck topology Msal together with the natural morphism of sites $ρ$ from Msa to Msal, where Msa is the usual subanalytic site. Our first result is that the derived direct image functor by $ρ$ admits a right adjoint, allowing us to associate functorially a sheaf (in the derived sense) on Msa to a presheaf on Msa satisfying suitable properties, this sheaf having the same sections that the presheaf on any open set with Lipschitz boundary. We apply this construction to various presheaves on real manifolds, such as the preshe…
The aim of this paper is to give a unifying description of various constructions (subanalytic, semialgebraic, o-minimal site) using the notion of T-topology. We then study the category of T-sheaves.
In this paper we introduce the sheaf of stratified Whitney jets of Gevrey order on the subanalytic site relative to a real analytic manifold X. Then we define stratified ultradistributions of Beurling and Roumieu type on X. In the end, by means of stratified ultradistributions, we define tempered-stratified ultradistributions and we prove two results. First, if X is a real surface, the tempered-stratified ultradistributions define a sheaf on the subanalytic site relative to X. Second, the tempered-stratified ultradistributions on the complementary of a 1-regular closed subset of X coincide wit…
On a smooth algebraic variety over $\mathbb{C}$, we build the tempered subanalytic and Stein tempered subanalytic sites. We construct the sheaf of holomorphic functions tempered at infinity over these sites and study their relations with the sheaf of regular functions, proving in particular that these sheaves are isomorphic on Zariski open subsets. We show that these data allow to define the functors of tempered and Stein tempered analytifications. We study the relations between these two functors and the usual analytification functor. We also obtain algebraization results in the non-proper ca…
The notion of microsupport and regularity for ind-sheaves was introduced by M. Kashiwara and P. Schapira in "Microlocal study of ind-sheaves I: microsupport and regularity". In this paper we study the behaviour of the microsupport under several functorial operations and characterize "microlocally" the ind-sheaves that are regular along involutive manifolds. As an application we prove that if a coherent D-module M is regular along an involutive manifold V (in the sense of "Systems of differential equations with regular singularities and their boundary value problems") then the ind-sheaf of temp…
In this paper we prove the constructibility on the subanalytic sites of the sheaves of tempered holomorphic solutions of holonomic D-modules on complex analytic manifolds. Such a result solves a conjecture of M. Kashiwara and P. Schapira (2003).
There are two approaches to the homotopy theory of simplicial (pre-)sheaves. One developed by Joyal and Jardine works for all sites but produces a model structure which is not finitely generated even in the case of sheaves on a Noetherian topological space. The other one developed by Brown and Gersten gives a nice model structure for sheaves on a Noetherian space of finite dimension but does not extend to all sites. In this paper we define a class of sites for which a generalized version of the Brown-Gersten approach works.
A construction of the tangent dg Lie algebra of a sheaf of operad algebras on a site is presented. The requirements on the site are very mild; the requirements on the algebra are more substantial. A few applications including the description of deformatins of a scheme and equivariant deformations are considered. The construction is based upon a model structure on the category of presheaves which should be of an independent interest.
We introduce new foundations for relative topos theory based on stacks. One of the central results in our theory is an adjunction between the category of toposes over the topos of sheaves on a given site $({\mathcal{C}}, J)$ and that of ${\mathcal{C}}$-indexed categories. This represents a wide generalization of the classical adjunction between presheaves on a topological space and bundles over it, and allows one to interpret several constructions on sheaves and stacks in a geometrical way; in particular, it leads to fibrational descriptions of direct and inverse images of sheaves and stacks, …
This thesis deals with the algorithmic representation of constructible sheaves of abelian groups on the étale site of a variety over an algebraically closed field, as well as the explicit computation of their cohomology. We describe three representations of such sheaves on curves with at worst nodal singularities, as well as algorithms performing various operations (kernels and cokernels of morphisms, pullback and pushforward, internal Hom and tensor product) on these sheaves. We present an algorithm computing the cohomology complex of a locally constant constructible sheaf on a smooth or noda…
We look at homotopy-coherent diagrams of spaces (after Segal, Leitch, Vogt, Mather, Cordier) over a Grothendieck site; we call these ``flexible presheaves''. After some preliminary materiel, we define the ``flexible sheaf'' condition. This descent condition (known to Thomason) is the same as what Jardine called being ``flasque'' with respect to the presheaves representable by objects in the site; and it is more recently known as the condition of being an $n$-stack. We construct the flexible sheaf associated to a flexible presheaf in the $n$-truncated case, as an application of a certain natura…
We formalize the concept of sheaves of sets on a model site by considering variables thereof, or motifs, and we construct functorially defined derived algebraic stacks from them, thereby eliminating the necessity to choose derived extensions.
The Godement cosimplicial resolution is available for a wide range of categories of sheaves. In this paper we investigate under which conditions of the Grothendieck site and the category of coefficients it can be used to obtain fibrant models and hence to do sheaf homotopy theory. For instance, for which Grothendieck sites and coefficients we can define sheaf cohomology and derived functors through it.
Pyknotic objects are (hyper)sheaves on the site of compacta. These provide a convenient way to do algebra and homotopy theory with additional topological information present. This appears, for example, when trying to contemplate the derived category of a local field. In this article, we present the basic theory of pyknotic objects, with a view to describing a simple set of everyday examples.
