Dilation of a class of quantum dynamical semigroups with unbounded generator on UHF algebras

Evans-Hudson flows are constructed for a class of quantum dynamical semigroups with unbounded generator on UHF algebras, which appeared in \cite{Ma}. It is shown that these flows are unital and covariant. Ergodicity of the flows for the semigroups associated with partial states is also discussed.

Automorphisms and dilation theory of triangular UHF algebras

We study the triangular subalgebras of UHF algebras which provide new examples of algebras with the Dirichlet property and the Ando property. This in turn allows us to describe the semicrossed product by an isometric automorphism. We also study the isometric automorphism group of these algebras and prove that it decomposes into the semidirect product of an abelian group by a torsion free group. Various other structure results are proven as well.

Some Quantum Dynamical Semi-groups with Quantum Stochastic Dilation

We consider the GNS Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$ of a uniformly hyper-finite $C^*$- algebra and study a class of unbounded Lindbladian arises from commutators. Exploring the local structure of UHF algebra, we have shown that the associated Hudson-Parthasarathy type quantum stochastic differential equation admits a unitary solution. The vacuum expectation of homomorphic co-cycle, implemented by the Hudson-Parthasarathy flow, is conservative and gives the minimal semi-group associated with the formal Lindbladian. Unbounded derivations, free dilations and indecomposability results for II$_1$ factors

We give sufficient conditions, in terms of the existence of unbounded derivations satisfying certain properties, which ensure that a II$_1$ factor $M$ is prime or has at most one Cartan subalgebra. For instance, we prove that if there exists a real closable unbounded densely defined derivation $δ:M\rightarrow L^2(M)\bar{\otimes}L^2(M)$ whose domain contains a non-amenability set, then $M$ is prime. A homomorphism theorem and a Trotter product formula for quantum stochastic flows with unbounded coefficients

We give a new method for proving the homomorphic property of a quantum stochastic ow satisfying a quantum stochastic differential equation with unbounded coefficients, under some further hypotheses. As an application, we prove a Trotter product formula for quantum stochastic ows and obtain quantum stochastic dilations of a class of quantum dynamical semigroups generalizing results of [5]

An algebraic construction of quantum flows with unbounded generators

It is shown how to construct *-homomorphic quantum stochastic Feller cocycles for certain unbounded generators, and so obtain dilations of strongly continuous quantum dynamical semigroups on C* algebras; this generalises the construction of a classical Feller process and semigroup from a given generator.
