On the basis of the generalizations of the Jacobi identity found by the author some identities satisfied by the curvature and torsion of a covariant differentiation are derived. A kind of the generalized covariant differentiation is proposed and a method of finding some of satisfied by them identities is given in the correspondence to the curvatures concerned.

This short note contains an explicit proof of the Jacobi identity for variational Schouten bracket in $Z_2$-graded commutative setup. For the reasoning to be rigorous, it refers to the product bundle geometry of iterated variations (see arXiv:1312.1262 [math-ph]); no ad hoc regularizations occur anywhere in this theory.
Frolicher and Nijenhuis recognized well in the middle of the previous century that the Lie bracket and its Jacobi identity could and should exist beyond Lie algebras. Nevertheless the conceptual meaning of their discovery has been obscured by the messy techniques they exploited. We generalize Poisson-Nijenhuis structures. We prove that on a manifold endowed with a Nijenhuis tensor and a Jacobi structure which are compatible, there is a hierarchy of pairwise compatible Jacobi structures. Furthermore, we study the homogeneous Poisson-Nijenhuis structures and their relations with Jacobi structures.

We define Dirac pairs on Jacobi algebroids, which is a generalization of Dirac pairs on Lie algebroids introduced by Kosmann-Schwarzbach. We show the relationship between Dirac pairs on Lie and on Jacobi algebroids, and that Dirac pairs on Jacobi algebroids characterize several compatible structures on manifolds or on Jacobi algebroids.
We explore a Pluecker-type relation which occurs naturally in the study of maximally supersymmetric solutions of certain supergravity theories. This relation generalises at the same time the classical Pluecker relation and the Jacobi identity for a metric Lie algebra and coincides with the Jacobi identity of a metric n-Lie algebra. In low dimension we present evidence for a geometric characterisation of the relation in terms of middle-dimensional orthogonal planes in euclidean or lorentzian inner product spaces.
