Assuming the purity conjecture for the affine Springer fibers which has been formulated by Goresky, Kottwitz and MacPherson, we prove a geometric analog of the fundamental lemma for unitary groups. Our approach is similar to the one of Goresky, Kottwitz and MacPherson. Our main new ingredient is the link between affine Springer fibers and compactified Jacobians which is described in math.AG/0204109.

Le lemme fondamental métaplectique de Jacquet et Mao en égales caractéristiques

We prove in the case of equal characteristic a fundamental lemma conjectured by Jacquet and Mao for the metaplectic group. We use the arguments of Bao Châu Ngô for Jacquet-Ye's fundamental lemma and a geometric study of the metaplectic extension.

Le lemme fondamental pour les algebres de Lie

We propose a proof for conjectures of Langlands, Shelstad and Waldspurger known as the fundamental lemma for Lie algebras and the non-standard fundamental lemma. The proof is based on a study of the decomposition of the l-adic cohomology of the Hitchin fibration into direct sum of simple perverse sheaves.

The so-called "Langlands Fundamental Lemma" is a family of conjectural identities between orbital integrals for G(F) and orbital integrals for endoscopic groups of G. Faisceaux pervers, homomorphisme de changement de base et lemme fondamental de Jacquet et Ye

We give a geometric interpretation of the base change homomorphism between the Hecke algebra of GL(n) for an unramified extension of local fields of positive characteristic. For this, we use some results of Ginzburg, Mirkovic and Vilonen related to the geometric Satake isomorphism. We give new proof for these results in the positive characteristic case. By using that geometric interpretation of the base change homomorphism, we prove the fundamental lemma of Jacquet and Ye for arbitrary Hecke function in the the equal characteristic case.

This article is the third one of the series \cite{Bt1}-\cite{Bt2} on Hitchin-Frenkel-Ngo fibration and Vinberg semigroup. This work is the geometric part of our proof of the weighted fundamental lemma, which is an extension of Ngô Bao Châu's proof of the Langlands-Shelstad fundamental lemma. Ngô's approach is based on a study of the elliptic part of the Hichin fibration.
