In this note we prove that a smooth order satisfying the reverse geometric engineering of singularities conditions in stringtheory (in any compactifying dimension) is Auslander regular. Moreover, we classify the etale local structure of smooth orders over an isolated central singularity.

Pre-resolutions of noncommutative isolated singularities

We introduce the notion of right pre-resolutions (quasi-resolutions) for noncommutative isolated singularities, which is a weaker version of quasi-resolutions introduced by Qin-Wang-Zhang. Noncommutative cyclic isolated singularities

The question of whether a noncommutative graded quotient singularity $A^G$ is isolated depends on a subtle invariant of the $G$-action on $A$, called the pertinency. We prove a partial dichotomy theorem for isolatedness, which applies to a family of noncommutative quotient singularities arising from a graded cyclic action on the $(-1)$-skew polynomial ring. Our results generalize and extend some results of Bao, He and the third-named author and results of Gaddis, Kirkman, Moore and Won.

The integral monodromy of isolated quasihomogeneous singularities

The integral monodromy on the Milnor lattice of an isolated quasihomogeneous singularity is subject of an almost untouched conjecture of Orlik from 1972. We prove this conjecture for all iterated Thom-Sebastiani sums of chain type singularities and cycle type singularities. The main part of the paper is purely algebraic. Poisson structures over a complete intersection with isolated singularities

We study Poisson structures over singular varieties. In this purpose, we consider the Koszul complex associated to the equations of a complete intersection. This complex forms a differential graded algebra which is equivalent to the algebra of the variety. We show that a Poisson structure is equivalent to a sequence of multiderivations over the Koszul complex. If our variety has isolated singularities, then we can construct a sequence of multiderivations of reduced form.
