When is the commutant of a Bol loop a subloop?
A left Bol loop is a loop satisfying $x(y(xz)) = (x(yx))z$. The commutant of a loop is the set of elements which commute with all elements of the loop. In a finite Bol loop of odd order or of order $2k$, $k$ odd, the commutant is a subloop. We investigate conditions under which the commutant of a Bol loop is not a subloop. On the products in the finite groups
All possible products of all elements of an odd order finite group are considered. A set of all such products is called as a K-set. A hypothesis of K-set coincidence of any group of an odd order with its commutant is proposed and the hypothesis validity for groups with a commutant of a simple structure is shown.

On Twisted Subgroups and Bol Loops of Odd Order
In the spirit of Glauberman's fundamental work in B-loops and Moufang loops, we prove Cauchy and strong Lagrange theorems for Bol loops of odd order. We also establish necessary conditions for the existence of a simple Bol loop of odd order, conditions which should be useful in the development of a Feit-Thompson theorem for Bol loops. Bol loops are closely related to Aschbacher's twisted subgroups, and we survey the latter in some detail, especially with regard to the so-called Aschbacher radical.

Uniquely 2-divisible Bol loops
Although any finite Bol loop of odd prime exponent is solvable, we show there exist such Bol loops with trivial center. We also construct finitely generated, infinite, simple Bruck loops of odd prime exponent for sufficiently large primes. This shows that the Burnside problem for Bruck loops has a negative answer.

Bol loops and Bruck loops of order $pq$ up to isotopism
Let $p>q$ be odd primes. We classify Bol loops and Bruck loops of order $pq$ up to isotopism. When $q$ does not divide $p^2-1$, the only Bol loop (and hence the only Bruck loop) of order $pq$ is the cyclic group of order $pq$. When $q$ divides $p^2-1$, there are precisely $\lfloor(p-1+4q)(2q)^{-1}\rfloor$ Bol loops of order $pq$ up to isotopism, including a unique nonassociative Bruck loop of order $pq$.

We study the commuting graph on elements of odd prime order in finite simple groups. The results are used in a forthcoming paper describing the structure of Bruck loops and Bol loops of exponent 2.
