In this paper, we apply the Tian-Yau-Zelditch expansion of the Bergman kernel on polarized Kähler metrics to approximate plurisubharmonic functions and compute the $α$-invariant of $CP^2#2\bar{CP^2}$, which is exactly 1/3. In addition we prove Tian's conjecture on the generalized Moser-Trudinger inequality in a special case prescribed by the $α$-invariant.

A closed formula for the asymptotic expansion of the Bergman kernel

We prove a graph theoretic closed formula for coefficients in the Tian-Yau-Zelditch asymptotic expansion of the Bergman kernel. The formula is expressed in terms of the characteristic polynomial of the directed graphs representing Weyl invariants. The proof relies on a combinatorial interpretation of a recursive formula due to M. Englis and A. Loi.

On the invariant and anti-invariant cohomologies of hypercomplex manifolds

A hypercomplex structure $(I,J,K)$ on a manifold $M$ is said to be $C^\infty$-pure-and-full if the Dolbeault cohomology $H^{2,0}_{\partial}(M,I)$ is the direct sum of two natural subgroups called the $\bar{J}$-invariant and the $\bar{J}$-anti-invariant subgroups. Connected sums with HP^n or CaP^2 and the Yamabe invariant

Let $M$ be a smooth closed $4k$-manifold whose Yamabe invariant $Y(M)$ is nonpositive. We show that $$Y(M\sharp l \Bbb HP^k\sharp m \bar{\Bbb HP^k})=Y(M),$$ where $l,m$ are nonnegative integers, and $\Bbb HP^k$ is the quaternionic projective space. When $k=4$, we also have $$Y(M\sharp l CaP^2\sharp m \bar{CaP^2})=Y(M),$$ where $CaP^2$ is the Cayley plane.

Boundary invariants and the closed range property for $\bar\partial$

This paper provides a connection between two distinct branches of research in CR geometry -- namely, analytic and geometric conditions that suffice to establish the closed range of the Cauchy-Riemann operator and CR invariants on CR manifolds. Critical $\bar{\partial}$ problems in one complex dimension and some remarks on conformally invariant variational problems in two real dimensions

We will study a linear first order system, a connection $\db$ problem, on a vector bundle equipped with a connection, over a Riemann surface. We show optimal conditions on the connection forms which allow one to find a holomorphic frame, or in other words to prove the optimal regularity of our solution. Circle-invariant fat bundles and symplectic Fano 6-manifolds

We prove that a compact 4-manifold which supports a circle-invariant fat SO(3)-bundle is diffeomorphic to either S^4 or CP^2-bar. The proof involves studying the resulting Hamiltonian circle action on an associated symplectic 6-manifold. Applying our result to the twistor bundle of Riemannian 4-manifolds shows that S^4 and CP^2-bar are the only 4-manifolds admitting circle-invariant metrics solving a certain curvature inequality. This can be seen as an analogue of Hsiang-Kliener's theorem that only S^4 and CP^2 admit circle-invariant metrics of positive sectional curvature.

Bott-Chern blow-up formula and bimeromorphic invariance of the $\partial\bar{\partial}$-Lemma for threefolds

The purpose of this paper is to study the bimeromorphic invariants of compact complex manifolds in terms of Bott-Chern cohomology. We prove a blow-up formula for Bott-Chern cohomology. As an application, we show that for compact complex threefolds the non-Kählerness degrees, introduced by Angella-Tomassini [Invent. Math. 192, (2013), 71-81], are bimeromorphic invariants. Consequently, the $\partial\bar{\partial}$-Lemma on threefolds admits the bimeromorphic invariance.

Topological Recursion Relations on $\bar{\cal M}_{3,2}$

In this paper, we give some new genus-3 universal equations for Gromov-Witten invariants of compact symplectic manifolds. These equations were obtained by studying new relations in the tautological ring of the moduli space of 2-pointed genus-3 stable curves. A byproduct of our search for genus-3 equations is a new genus-2 universal equation for Gromov-Witten invariants.
