We introduce a factorized difference operator L(u) annihilated by the Frenkel-Reshetikhin screening operator for the quantum affine algebra U_q(C^{(1)}_n). We identify the coefficients of L(u) with the fundamental q-characters, and establish a number of formulas for their higher analogues. They include Jacobi-Trudi and Weyl type formulas, canceling tableau sums, Casorati determinant solution to the T-system, and so forth. Analogous operators for the orthogonal series U_q(B^{(1)}_n) and U_q(D^{(1)}_n) are also presented.

Differential-difference system related to toroidal Lie algebra

We present a novel differential-difference system in (2+1)-dimensional space-time (one discrete, two continuum), arisen from the Bogoyavlensky's (2+1)-dimensional KdV hierarchy. Our method is based on the bilinear identity of the hierarchy, which is related to the vertex operator representation of the toroidal Lie algebra $\sl_2^{tor}$.

Integral Intertwining Operators and Complex Powers of Differential ($q-$Difference) Operators

We study a family of modules over Kac-Moody algebras realized in multi-valued functions on a flag manifold and find integral representations for intertwining operators acting on these modules. These intertwiners are related to some expressions involving complex powers of Lie algebra generators. When applied to affine Lie algebras, these expressions give integral formulas for correlation functions with values in not necessarily highest weight modules. Finite-gap difference opeators with elliptic coefficients and their spectral curves

We review recent results on the finite-gap properties of difference operators with elliptic coefficients and give explicit characterization of spectral curves for difference analogues of the higher Lamé operators. This curve parametrizes double-Bloch solutions to the difference Lamé equation. The curve depends on a positive integer number \ell, related to its genus g by g=2\ell, and two continuous parameters: the lattice spacing ηand the modular parameter τ. Isospectral deformations of the difference Lamé operator under Volterra flows are also discussed.

Difference equations for graded characters from quantum cluster algebra

We introduce a new set of $q$-difference operators acting as raising operators on a family of symmetric polynomials which are characters of graded tensor products of current algebra ${\mathfrak g}[u]$ KR-modules \cite{FL} for ${\mathfrak g}=A_r$. Deformations of the KdV hierarchy and related soliton equations

We define hierarchies of differential--q-difference equations, which are q-deformations of the equations of the generalized KdV hierarchies. We show that these hierarchies are bihamiltonian, one of the hamiltonian structures being that of the q-deformed classical W-algebra of sl(N), defined by Reshetikhin and the author. We also find q-deformations of the mKdV hierarchies and the affine Toda equations.

Macdonald difference operators and Harish-Chandra series

We analyze the centralizer of the Macdonald difference operator in an appropriate algebra of Weyl group invariant difference operators. We show that it coincides with Cherednik's commuting algebra of difference operators via an analog of the Harish-Chandra isomorphism. Analogs of Harish-Chandra series are defined and realized as solutions to the system of basic hypergeometric difference equations associated to the centralizer algebra. These Harish-Chandra series are then related to both Macdonald polynomials and Chalykh's Baker-Akhiezer functions.

On the diagonalization of difference Calogero-Sutherland systems

We discuss the simultaneous diagonalization of a family of commuting difference operators by Koornwinder's multivariable generalization of the Askey-Wilson polynomials. The operators constitute a complete set of quantum integrals for a difference version of the $n$-particle quantum Calogero-Sutherland system related to the root system $BC_n$.

Frenkel and Reshetikhin introduced screening operators related to q-characters of finite dimensional representations of quantum affine algebras. We propose t-analogs of screening operators related to Nakajima's q,t-characters with the same properties of symmetry. Nakajima introduced non-commutative rings, so we propose bimodules. Our construction uses only combinatorial definition of q,t-characters, and therefore can be extended to the non-simply laced case.
