Extending a result of Foreman and Magidor we prove that in the core model for almost linear iterations the following holds. There is a sequence (S^n_α: n<ω,α>0) such that each individual S^n_αis a stationary subset of \aleph_{α+1} consisting of points of cofinality ω_1, and for all limits λand for all f:λ-> ωdo we have that (S^{f(α)}_α: α<λ) is mutually stationary if and only if the range of f is finite.

On Singular Stationarity I (mutual stationarity and ideal-based methods)

We study several ideal-based constructions in the context of singular stationarity. By combining methods of strong ideals, supercompact embeddings, and Prikry-type posets, we obtain three consistency results concerning mutually stationary sets, and answer a question of Foreman and Magidor concerning stationary sequences on the first uncountable cardinals, $\aleph_n$, $1 \leq n < ω$.

Lower consistency bounds for mutual stationarity with divergent uncountable cofinalities

We prove that the upper bounds for the consistency strength of certain instances of mutual stationarity considered by Liu-Shelah~\cite{MR1469093} are close to optimal. We also consider some related and, as it turns out, stronger properties.

Global Square and Mutual Stationarity at the Aleph_n

We show using a proof of the Global Square property in Core Models below a measurable of Mitchell order o(kappa)=kappa^++ (a result originally due to Jensen & Zeman) that Foreman and Magidor's Mutual Stationarity property MS(Aleph_n (1<n<omega), Cof(omega_1)) implies the existence of inner models with measurables of high Mitchell order. This MS property states that any sequence of independently chosen stationary subsets S_n of the Aleph_n (of fixed cofinality omega_1) is mutually stationary below aleph_omega.

Lower consistency bounds for mutual stationarity with divergent cofinalities and limited covering

We improve previous work on the consistency strength of mutually stationary sequences of sets concentrating on points with divergent cofinality building on previous work by Adolf, Cox and Welch. Specifically, we have greatly reduced our reliance on covering properties in the proof. This will allow us to handle sequences in which sets concentrating on points of countable cofinality appear infinitely often. Furthermore we will show that if $κ$ is a Jónsson cardinal with $κ< \aleph_κ$ then the sharp for a model with a strong cardinal exists.

Generalisations of Stationarity, Closed and Unboundedness, and of Jensen's $\Box$

The concepts of closed unbounded (club) and stationary sets are generalised to $γ$-club and $γ$-stationary sets, which are closely related to stationary reflection. We use these notions to define generalisations of Jensen's combinatorial principles {$\Box$} and $\diamondsuit$. We define $Π^1_γ$-indescribability and use the new $\Box^γ$-sequences to extend the result of Jensen that in the constructible universe a regular cardinal is stationary reflecting if and only if it is $Π^1_1$-indescribable: we show that in $L$ a cardinal is $Π^{1}_γ $-indescribable iff it reflects $γ$-stationary sets.
