This work continues the research of generalized Heisenberg algebras connected with several orthogonal polynomial systems. The realization of the annihilation operator of the algebra corresponding to a polynomial system by a differential operator A is obtained. The important special case of orthogonal polynomial systems, for which the matrix of the operator A in $l^2(Z_+)$ has only off-diagonal elements on the first upper diagonal different from zero, is considered. The known generalized Hermite polynomials give us an example of such orthonormal system. The replacement of the usual derivative by q-derivative allows us to use the suggested approach for similar investigation of various "deformed" polynomials.
A new oscillator-like system called by the Legendre oscillator is introduced in this note. The two families of coherent states (coherent states as eigenvectors of the annihilation operator and the Klauder-Gazeau temporally stable coherent states) are defined and investigated for this oscillator.
A model of a q-harmonic oscillator based on q-Charlier polynomials of Al-Salam and Carlitz is discussed. Simple explicit realization of q-creation and q-annihilation operators, q-coherent states and an analog of the Fourier transformation are found. A connection of the kernel of this transform with biorthogonal rational functions is observed.
In this paper some realization of $gl_q(n)$-covariant oscillators is obtained when $q$ is a root of unity. And the $gl_q(n)$-covariant q-Virasoro algebra is presented by using the $gl_q(n)$-covariant oscillators.
One more model of a q-harmonic oscillator based on the q-orthogonal polynomials of Al-Salam and Carlitz is discussed. The explicit form of q-creation and q-annihilation operators, q-coherent states and an analog of the Fourier transformation are established. A connection of the kernel of this transform with a family of self-dual biorthogonal rational functions is observed.
The Holstein-Primakoff and the Dyson realizations of the Lie superalgebra $gl(n/m)$ are generalized to the class of the quantum superalgebras $U_q[gl(n/m)]$ for any $n$ and $m$. It is shown how the elements of $U_q[gl(n/m)]$ can be expressed via $n-1$ pairs of Bose creation and annihilation operators and $m$ pairs of Fermi creation and annihilation operators.
We consider asymptotic limits of q-oscillator (or Heisenberg) realizations of Verma modules over the quantum superalgebra $U_{q}(gl(M|N))$, and obtain q-oscillator realizations of the contracted algebras proposed in [arXiv:1205.1471]. Instead of factoring out the invariant subspaces, we make reduction on generators of the q-oscillator algebra, which gives a shortcut to the problem. Based on this result, we obtain explicit q-oscillator representations of a Borel subalgebra of the quantum affine superalgebra $U_{q}(\hat{gl}(M|N))$ for Baxter Q-operators.
Representations of the quantum q-oscillator algebra are studied with particular attention to local Hamiltonian representations of the Schroedinger type. In contrast to the standard harmonic oscillators such systems exhibit a continuous spectrum. The general scheme of realization of the q-oscillator algebra on the space of wave functions for a one-dimensional Schroedinger Hamiltonian shows the existence of non-Fock irreducible representations associated to the continuous part of the spectrum and directly related to the deformation. An algorithm for the mapping of energy levels is described.
In this article it is explicitly shown that the matrix elements of CP$_q(n)$ are the annihilation operator of Pusz-Woronowicz (P-W) oscillators provided they are rescaled.
Properties of certain $q$-orthogonal polynomials are connected to the $q$-oscillator algebra. The Wall and $q$-Laguerre polynomials are shown to arise as matrix elements of $q$-exponentials of the generators in a representation of this algebra. A realization is presented where the continuous $q$-Hermite polynomials form a basis of the representation space. Various identities are interpreted within this model. In particular, the connection formula between the continuous big $q$-Hermite polynomials and the continuous $q$-Hermite polynomials is thus obtained, and two generating functions for thes…
By factorization of the Hamiltonian describing the quantum mechanics of the continuous q-Hermite polynomial, the creation and annihilation operators of the q-oscillator are obtained. They satisfy a q-oscillator algebra as a consequence of the shape-invariance of the Hamiltonian. A second set of q-oscillator is derived from the exact Heisenberg operator solution. Now the q-oscillator stands on the equal footing to the ordinary harmonic oscillator.
We give a realization of the quantum affine Lie superalgebras U_q(A(M,N))^(1) in terms of anyons defined on a one or two-dimensional lattice, the deformation parameter q being related to the statistical parameter $ν$ of the anyons by q = exp(iπν). The construction uses anyons contructed from usual fermionic oscillators and deformed bosonic oscillators. As a byproduct, realization deformed in any sector of the quantum superalgebras U_q(A(M,N)) is obtained.
The known Holstein-Primakoff and Dyson realizations of the Lie algebra $sl(n+1), n=1,2,...$ in terms of Bose operators (Okubo S 1975 J. Math. Phys. 16 528) are generalized to the class of the quantum algebras $U_q[sl(n+1)]$ for any $n$. It is shown how the elements of $U_q[sl(n+1)]$ can be expressed via $n$ pairs of Bose creation and annihilation operators.
We study in detail the spectrum of the bosonic oscillator Hamiltonian associated with the $C_3$-extended oscillator algebra \algthree, where $C_3$ denotes a cyclic group of order three, and classify the various types of spectra in terms of the algebra parameters $α_0, α_1$. In such a classification, we identify those spectra having an infinite number of periodically spaced levels, similar to those of cyclic shape invariant potentials of period three. We prove that the hierarchy of supersymmetric Hamiltonians and supercharges, corresponding to the latter, can be realized in terms of some approp…
The main notions of the quantum groups: coproduct, action and coaction, representation and corepresentation are discussed using simplest examples: $GL_q(2)$, $sl_q(2)$, $q$-oscillator algebra ${\cal A}(q)$, and reflection equation algebra. The Gauss decompositions of quantum groups and their realizations in terms of\, ${\cal A}(q)$ are given.
Deformed Harmonic Oscillator Algebras are generated by four operators, two mutually adjoint $a$ and $a^\dagger$, and two self-adjoint $N$ and the unity $1$ such as: $[a,N] = a, [a^\dagger, N]= -a^\dagger, a^\dagger a = ψ(N)$ and $aa^\dagger =ψ(N+1)$. The Bargmann Hilbert space is defined as a space of functions, holomorphic in a ring of the complex plane, equipped with a scalar product involving a true integral. In a Bargmann representation, the operators of a Deformed Harmonic Oscillator Algebra act on a Bargmann Hilbert space and the creation (or the annihilation operator) is the multiplicat…
We examine a concrete realization of the quantum Weyl algebra and expand it to first order. From here we apply the resulting algebra to a quantum harmonic oscillator in its ground state and observe how a slightly noncommutative space affects the physical system. The main result is, similar to a free particle a magnetic field appears, but a new observation is that a dissipative term appears in the perturbed Hamiltonian as well.
A method for obtaining complex analytic realizations for a class of deformed algebras based on their respective deformation mappings and their ordinary coherent states is introduced. Explicit results of such realizations are provided for the cases of the $q$-oscillators ($q$-Weyl-Heisenberg algebra) and for the $su_{q}(2)$ and $su_{q}(1,1)$ algebras and their co-products. They are given in terms of a series in powers of ordinary derivative operators which act on the Bargmann-Hilbert space of functions endowed with the usual integration measure. In the $q\rightarrow 1$ limit these realizations …
Completely integrable Hamiltonians defining classical mechanical systems of $N$ coupled oscillators are obtained from Poisson realizations of Heisenberg--Weyl, harmonic oscillator and $sl(2,\R)$ coalgebras. Various completely integrable deformations of such systems are constructed by considering quantum deformations of these algebras. Explicit expressions for all the deformed Hamiltonians and constants of motion are given, and the long-range nature of the interactions is shown to be linked to the underlying coalgebra structure. The relationship between oscillator systems induced from the $sl(2…
Any deformation of a Weyl or Clifford algebra A can be realized through a `deforming map', i.e. a formal change of generators in A. This is true in particular if A is covariant under a Lie algebra g and its deformation is induced by some triangular deformation $U_h g$ of the Hopf algebra $Ug$. We propose a systematic method to construct all the corresponding deforming maps, together with the corresponding realizations of the action of $U_h g$. The method is then generalized and explicitly applied to the case that $U_h g$ is the quantum group $U_h sl(2)$. A preliminary study of the status of de…
Fractional supersymmetric quantum mechanics of order $λ$ is realized in terms of the generators of a generalized deformed oscillator algebra and a Z$_λ$-grading structure is imposed on the Fock space of the latter. This realization is shown to be fully reducible with the irreducible components providing $λ$ sets of minimally bosonized operators corresponding to both unbroken and broken cases. It also furnishes some examples of Z$_λ$-graded uniform topological symmetry of type (1, 1, ..., 1) with topological invariants generalizing the Witten index.
With a view towards future applications in nuclear physics, the fermion realization of the compact symplectic sp(4) algebra and its q-deformed versions are investigated. Three important reduction chains of the sp(4) algebra are explored in both the classical and deformed cases. The deformed realizations are based on distinct deformations of the fermion creation and annihilation operators. For the primary reduction, the su(2) sub-structure can be interpreted as either the spin, isospin or angular momentum algebra, whereas for the other two reductions su(2) can be associated with pairing between…
