Okounkov bodies and restricted volumes along very general curves

Given a big divisor $D$ on a normal complex projective variety $X$, we show that the restricted volume of $D$ along a very general complete-intersection curve $C\subset X$ can be read off from the Okounkov body of $D$ with respect to an admissible flag containing $C$. From this we deduce that if two big divisors $D_1$ and $D_2$ on $X$ have the same Okounkov body with respect to every admissible flag, then $D_1$ and $D_2$ are numerically equivalent.

Unstable points for torus actions on flag varieties

In this paper, we will look at actions on complex flag varieties $G/P$ of the torus $\hat{T}=\bigcap\limits_{α\inΔ\setminusΔ_P}\ker(α)$, and under reasonable assumptions, we will give a description of the set $X^{us}$ of unstable points for $\hat{T}$-linearized invertible sheaves. Fano and weak Fano Hessenberg varieties

Regular semisimple Hessenberg varieties are smooth subvarieties of the flag variety, and their examples contain the flag variety itself and the permutohedral variety which is a toric variety. We give a complete classification of Fano and weak Fano regular semisimple Hessenberg varieties in type A in terms of combinatorics of Hessenberg functions. In particular, we show that if the anti-canonical bundle of a regular semisimple Hessenberg variety is nef, then it is in fact nef and big.

Vanishing theorems for Dolbeault cohomology of log homogeneous varieties

We consider a complete nonsingular variety $X$ over $\bC$, having a normal crossing divisor $D$ such that the associated logarithmic tangent bundle is generated by its global sections. We show that $H^i\big(X, L^{-1} \otimes Ω_X^j(\log D)\big) = 0$ for any nef line bundle $L$ on $X$ and all $i < j - c$, where $c$ is an explicit function of $(X,D,L)$. This implies e.g. the vanishing of $H^i(X, L \otimes Ω_X^j)$ for $L$ ample and $i > j$, and gives back a vanishing theorem of Broer when $X$ is a flag variety.
