Quantum (Non-commutative) Toric Geometry: Foundations

In this paper, we will introduce Quantum Toric Varieties which are (non-commutative) generalizations of ordinary toric varieties where all the tori of the classical theory are replaced by quantum tori. Non-commutative Symplectic Geometry, Quiver varieties, and Operads

Quiver varieties have recently appeared in various different areas of Mathematics such as representation theory of Kac-Moody algebras and quantum groups, instantons on 4-manifolds, and resolutions Kleinian singularities. In this paper, we show that many important affine quiver varieties, e.g., the Calogero-Moser space, can be imbedded as coadjoint orbits in the dual of an appropriate infinite dimensional Lie algebra. Commuting differential operators and higher-dimensional algebraic varieties

Several algebro-geometric properties of commutative rings of partial differential operators as well as several geometric constructions are investigated. In particular, we show how to associate a geometric data by a commutative ring of partial differential operators, and we investigate the properties of these geometric data. This construction is similar to the construction of a formal module of Baker-Akhieser functions. Non-commutative matrix integrals and representation varieties of surface groups in a finite group

A graphical expansion formula for non-commutative matrix integrals with values in a finite-dimensional real or complex von Neumann algebra is obtained in terms of ribbon graphs and their non-orientable counterpart called Moebius graphs. The contribution of each graph is an invariant of the topological type of the surface on which the graph is drawn. As an example, we calculate the integral on the group algebra of a finite group. We show that the integral is a generating function of the number of homomorphisms from the fundamental group of an arbitrary closed surface into the finite group. The …

A note on the extension of the polar decomposition for the multidimensional Burgers equation

It is shown that the generalizations to more than one space dimension of the pole decomposition for the Burgers equation with finite viscosity and no force are of the form u = -2 viscosity grad log P, where the P's are explicitly known algebraic (or trigonometric) polynomials in the space variables with polynomial (or exponential) dependence on time. Such solutions have polar singularities on complex algebraic varieties.

Integrable systems in spaces of arbitrary dimension

The $2n$ dimensional manifold with two mutually commutative operators of differentiation is introduced. Nontrivial multidimensional integrable systems connected with arbitrary graded (semisimple) algebras are constructed. The general solution of them is presented in explicit form.
